Debt collectors, right below liberals and pedophiles in my book.

they keep calling my 11yr old daughters cell phone..apparently this is why the other ppl got rid of this number..they wont stop and she has to turn her phone off unless shes using it because they wont leave her alone..and it all started with direct tv calling her and we dont even have direct tv never have and never will..

they keep calling my 11 yr old daughter from early in the morning til late at night..first direct tv was calling her now this 8008588603 keeps calling her...whoever had this number before her its their problem..and when i do answer the the phone to tell them to leave my little girl alone the suckers hang up on me and when we call back they dont answer..i dont know what to do but change her number....rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Receive these calls everyday at several different times.  Tried to answer twice but I get just an open phone line.  I'm on the do not call list.  That doesn't even help.

Oh My gosh these people keep calling me asking for someone else!!!! how many times do i have to tell them that i'm not that person!!! very annoying i just want it to stop!

Same thing as above.  This is in obvious violation.

I am planning on sending them a written request with proof and report them for harassment.  There has to be something other than just DirectTV since I've never had it, but I do have some outstanding medical bills from a couple years ago.

We are Canadian snowbirds. In October, we purchased a Net10 phone at Walmart and activated it. We are staying in Arizona, so they gave us a number with 928 area code. Since then we are getting half a dozen calls every day. We ignore them, and don't answer, but it's very annoying.

We have never used cable TV or satellite TV of any kind. It's either rabbit ears or turn it off.

I get two, three and sometimes four calls a day after I answer and give my company info and name they hang up without having said a word, this has been going on for months

This number calls atleast 10x for the day . The first time I answered some guy asked me my name then he wanted me to confirm my address I said NO who is this & he said you have to confirm your address first so I Hung up. The next day calls started again so I activated the " straight to voice mail " feature to my phone. Love it so my phone don't ring & I they never leave a message.
I did have direct tv  they are horrible.

I get the same thing 7-10 times a day. I am a Direct TV customer but dont owe them anything. I dont have any past debt. Who knows.

Um, I DO pay my bills! All of them!! These asshats wont leave me alone. The one time I answered they hung up on me! So dont assume that everyone is just slacking on paying their bills because they are getting these calls.

This is a collection agency from Direct TV.  They are now up to calling me 10 times a day even when I am sleeping.  They are relentless...but I did figure out that if you curse right when you answer the phone they hang up.  Avoid getting involved with a Direct TV "contract" unless you want annoying phone calls after.

FWIW, I find that doesn't work with Allied Interstate. I wrote them a cease and desist calling letter several months ago. When that didn't work, I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission Online, the New York State Attorney General (who punted to the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs). The Dept of Consumer Affairs actually followed up--they were able to get several collection agencies off my back (I'm not in debt, but we're listed and have a common surname) but not Allied Interstate--which kept calling anyway. I really don't want to bother with a lawsuit, and I have caller ID and call blocking and an answering machine--all of which I'm using to ignore them as best I can. But if you're fed up with them calling you constantly, well, hope you can afford and find a good lawyer.

i justmoved here from another state and bought a home here, so that should tell them  that I don't have an debt defaults.  I am getting the calls anyway.  I am thinking of changing my phone number.  this is very annoying and should be illegal.

I am having problems with this SERVICE calling me  several times a day and when I answer there is no one there.  I do not and never have and Direct TV.  I registered with the do not call list and hope that works.

Call me every day at work and wont stop. So annoying and won't quit.

This number has called my number almost every hour all day long !!!! I will not answer any unidentified call. My number is on the National DO NOT CALL Registry because I do NOT want to be solicited ever !!

This  caller calls our number about every 2hrs, my husband & i have answered the call but no one as yet has said spoken to us. They have called my daughters cell phone and how they ever got her number i don't know asking to speak to me. We have never had Direct tv so i know its not that and i am paying on my outstanding debts that i've had, but i have always communicated with them by mail. We've begun to wonder if its not a scam, too.

My daughter keeps getting calls on her cell phone from this number.  When we answer they just hang up!  I guess we will call our cell phone provider and have this number blocked but would like to know how they are getting our numbers!

I've gotten two calls from this number starting early this morning.  I answered both time, and there is nothing on the other end of the line.

Someone gave my number as a contact number with out permission and they keep calling me for that person. I keep telling them that its the wrong number. I even told them my name and that they could look it up! Do you think you are just doing your job when you are hounding the wrong person and wont listen? You love doing it or you would get a new job.

I do not owe money.  Stage 4 cancer patient in house.  Telephone stalking?  Why can't the phone company handle this?
