I'm not sure who is calling because there is no message. Today the call came into my cell and I ignored it. The next call came into my job. I did not anser it.

I know you're not really 'spose to call them but since my number is blocked I did after the 8th day in a row of being called while napping.
I got a very polite man named "Kevin" on the line who was quick to identify himself, his company and offered to let me speak to a supervisor. I was called "Sir" at every part of the conversation. I asked if they removed phone numbers by request and I got a "yes, sir it will be my pleasure". I asked him if they followed the DNC list and he said they did however they also purchase lists from other companies and it appears that the lists are not being checked as they are added. He stated I was being called about finance security sales. I got a nice 'sorry' from the guy and with all the hundreds of scams and scums that call here, I'm not willing to add this one to that list. Only to a list of companies that have morons in their IT department and management.

These are the cruelest people in the world. they keep calling and wanting to harass my wife about a car she bought 10 years ago. The problem is that my wife has never owned a car. she dosen't even have arms. How would she drive it? And how did she sign a contract? I hope these people die a miserable death, I hope they die of AIDS

I have received three calls from this 800 number this week alone and they don't leave messages. I know I owe money to other debt collectors but I know their phone numbers. I am tired of this already. They need to be stopped.
Doesn't apply 2012-05-18 23:16:42 Unknown
The national Do Not Call Registry doesn't apply to debt collectors. You're wasting your time, not theirs.
You do have recourse: collection law. Look it up and see what applies for your state.
City_MBP 2012-05-12 17:13:27 Unknown
hope this isn't going to be one of those charge a call number things, were when you get your statement from phone company they placed an 86.00 charge on bill stating you signed up to recieve calls thru thier network, just after a call was made from one that claimed to be an espanole operator looking for some Jerome something, i gonna post allover FB an others about this spam crud, we need our funds for other things

Calls alot say hello alot sometimes they answer sometimes they don't.....always mumble who they want.....Tired of these Harassing phone calls.
volunteer 2012-04-27 15:12:22 Unknown
They have called my land line numerous times and left no message. I usually don't answer it but did this morning. There was no one there but music was playing. I hung up after a few seconds. The caller was likely a telemarketer. The stupid Do Not Call federal program is useless...another example of government waste.
johndale 2012-04-03 23:51:34 Unknown
they must like me, Cavalry is the name that shows on the landline phone.
They have been calling since December, I call the national do not call and register them.
Hasn't stop them, hasn't stop me either.

Have been calling my house for the last six months! Keep asking for "Kristy," who apparently had a bad time paying her bills because multiple collection agencies continually call this number asking for her, even though we have had this number for over a year now. I told them Kristy didn't live at this address and they asked for my name and if I knew where she was. I told them no and asked them to no longer call this number. The man said they would continue calling because he didn't believe me and thought I was Kristy. I hung up... I hope they call again... as next time it will be fun.

I called them back and I got a messages saying, "Please hold while we locate the resolution specialist." I was on hold for 2 minutes before I just gave up!
I do not know what they are calling about since I have no credit accounts.
Cinnamon 2011-06-06 20:58:34 Unknown
No idea - they never leave message either
Russ 2011-06-06 20:58:34 Unknown

My son keeps getting harrassing phone calls from this number. He is a teenager that does not have a job, nor debt. As a former POW and US military member this angers me I fought for the freedom of a**holes like this! Do some research on the phone numbers you are calling Northland Group, Inc!!! By the way, this is a debt collection agency.

DEBRA 2011-06-06 20:58:34 Unknown
they keep calling me daily; takes me a bit to get to the phone, but no matter how long, i say "hello...hello....HELLO!" No one ever answers. tonite someone finally on the 6th hello called me by some strange name. i asked why she or the company keep crank-calling me, and what they want. she mumbled somehting and hung up.
i'm tired of this. i'm partially disabled and it HURTS to walk to the phone. i dont know what they want---you cant sell to or convert anyone without talking to them, can you? i'm sure they think this is very funny.
so here's what i finally did: call the number. it will transfer you to a mailbox (they cant be bothered to answer their own phones, and hide behind voicemail). i got a "resolution manager" who wont resolve this. His name is jeff obermeier. i left him multiple messages. then i figured out that you can zero out and get another mailbox who wont answer and leave another one. by continually pressing the # key, the voicemail system will ask you if you want to send the message to another person or group. press #. it will ask you to enter a name or number. press any key with a letter on it, and when you hear a name, press #. then press 3 for priority if you want. press # to send. press # to send to another box. and # again for the directory (faster than it sounds). you can press 9# each time for a name, then toggle thru to the next one by pressing 1 to go back or 3 to go forward. eventually you'll be able to leave that same message on everyones phone. and THEY STILL WONT CALL BACK AND TALK TO YOU!!!!!! but you have bothered them almost as much as they bother you!!!!!

Called my work number the past couple of days, didn't leave message. Sure, I owe someone (thanks to my ex), but go to court or go away. The folks you bought the debt from knew the law when they were foolish enough to offer credit.
Here's the funny thing: the Google ad for this page is currently for... Cavalry Portfolio Service. It says "Dealing with Cavalry Portfolio may be easier than you think", and links to their website (one of the ones mentioned previously). Conclusion: they know full well that nobody will answer their calls without checking the number online first! (Sorry, I'm not tempted to click the link.)

Calvary portfilio is calling about a debt that has been charged off years ago. I simply don't answer my phone and let it go to voice message. They will eventually stop calling.

Have been getting these calls for several months now. They always ask for someone we've never heard of, and we've had the home number they are calling for 6 years now. No amount of telling them anything has any effect. I'm about ready to hire an attorney and track this **** down once and for all.

These calls started last week on a debt that was written off. I returned one of the calls and "Jeremy" gave me his spiel. I've been getting calls, some four times in one day, since then. Usually, Jeremy's assistant calls me. Her name is Linda. When I answered one of the calls, and told them to stop calling me, it was harassment, Linda told me it wasn't. They not only harass me, but members of my family. The three numbers they call are: 800-861-4689, 800-861-5118 and 602-667-0128.
