This is a program administered by Alere for Medical Mutual. Med Mutual suggested I sign up for it when I called them to get pre-approved for something. I signed up and all I have to do is talk to them four times a year about how my Diabetes is being controlled. In exchange, they offer advice, answer questions, and now all my Diabetes-related medications and testing supplies are covered 100% - no co-pays or anything. For anyone who's bought glucose test strips, you know what a benefit that is! I'll talk to them four times a year in exchange for free test strips!

This is medical mutual rep offering a free program. They have called numerous times. I didn't qualify last year when they called, so why are they calling again?

This is a call from Alere and it is legit. They work with various medical insurance companies to work with people that have diabetes, etc. I have used them for several years in conjunction with my diabetes. My insurance company pays to them to help me monitor and control the diabetes. I also receive my diabetes testing meters and supplies free of charge as long as I participate in the program. My medical insurance happens to be with Medical Mutual, but its my understanding that Alere works with a number of companies. This is a legitimate call and it has saved me a huge amount of money in testing supplies. They follow up about every 3 months or so and when you need supplies there is a number for you to call, or they will check with you periodically to see how your on hand supplies are.

BEWARE!!!!!!! This is a scam! A woman claiming to be with A T & T Medical Management. She says she is calling from Alea (?) to help me manage MY healthcare. My doctor and I manage my health. I don't need some idiot that sits a computer to tell me what kind of treatment I need and how much should be spent! Stay out of my business and my wallet!

Medical Mutual calls 2 or 3 times a day to try to sign me up for a program where their nurse will "manage" my care so that when the nurse decides I'm all better they can refuse to pay any more medical bills. I'm guessing I'll be cured after 0 treatments. I've told them half a dozen times to quit calling that I'm not interested in their voluntary but apparently the person in India doesn't understand what NO BUZZ OFF means.
