Received a call today so called back. Was transferred to a Mike who started to recite the who "we are attempting to collect a debt..." speech when I stopped him and told him I didn't need to hear that as I was just calling to have them stop calling me and to remove my number from their records. I knew they were calling to speak to my dad who passed away in January. I told the guy not to call as my dad left nothing so there is nothing to collect. He was rude and asked "well who paid for his funeral?". I was livid! My dad is not even a few months in his grave and this jerk wants to play these games with me? He started asking me a bunch of questions to which I said I didn't have to answer as I had no idea who he was and he needed to give me info first. He then said "he was conducting an investigation". Yeah right. Well, these bloodsuckers are not getting a single cent from me. Next time, I am recording each call, noting each time they call and will sue and have them pay ME money. Heartless, mindless, rude, obnoxious, pitiful jerks! Their number is 866-572-9374.

Notify your bank that you did NOT authorize these withdrawals and close your account.

I had 4 withdrawls from my bank account yesterday from Simm Associates. I have no Idea how they got my bank card number. I had just changed recieved a new bank card in the mail & activated it 3 days ago & they somehow got the number the bank told me & withdrew around $200.00. This is identity theft and fraud. Not sure what to do.

Got my first call today from Simm's after they had reached out to a relative of mine earlier in the week.  I can already tell from the first, Rude call that my lawyer will be sending me another 1099 this year for a settlement.  Record all of your calls, do NOT play into their game and hold them accountable.  They know they brake the rules and they know if they get caught they will settle with funds already set aside for that very thing.  They don't care, it's not their money but I sure do appreciate it!  Number was 866-572-8796

I have recieved many calls from Simm's Asso; Inc. I am not the person they wanted . They were told "to stop calling" the calls continued.  I finally contacted the Attorney in DE and MA .and also Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. (FDCPA).They are still calling .If there is ever a civil suit against this unprofessional low life company. I'm for it.

Hello I just got a call from Simms Assoc under number 866 572 8797 who said they mailed a letter to my address with the wrong address back last July and Aug 2011 that I never rec'd.   When I asked them to please resend the mailing they immediately got rude and said 'they could not do that".  WTF!!   If you mailed it once, couldn't you mail it again???   The lady I spoke with (which I didn't get her name) was totally RUDE!!!  Is this for real?   Why couldn't they mail me the letter?

FYI: Collection Agencies have NO LEGAL right to collect from you if they have no written agreeement with YOUR SIGNATURE on it.   If they say that they are authorized to collect on behalf of another company that you do have an agreement with, well that is still unacceptable.  They still have nothing with your signature on it stating that you are agreeing to do business with them.  It's EXTORTION, plain and simple.  Get their address, the account number for which to reference your information, and send them a ceritfied letter stating that they are no longer authorized to call you and that you will only communicate with them through the mail.  Then give them the address of your local post office, with your name on it, via "General Delivery". (This company of "bottom feeders" has shown that they make a point of abusing a person's home address.)
One last bit of information:   NEVER, NEVER, NEVER acknowledge that you owe any debt to them. NEVER acknowledge that the debt belongs to you (weather it does or not) because that's when what I've written above goes out the window.  YOUR acknowledgement makes their business legal, that's why they record your conversations!  Plus if the debt is about to fall off your credit report because it's at the end of it's 7 years, acknowledgement re-ages it and the 7 year clock starts over.

I keep getting calls (several an hour) and no one is there.  When I call it back it says it is invalid.  It shows up with a 9 in front of the 1 800 part.

This company showed up on my caller id at 1 am. I had no clue who they are or why they would call me.

These people are incredibly rude! I've asked them to stop calling my work or i'd be fired and they called right back asking for my supervisor!!!!! Obviously I told them they had no right asking for my supervisor. Those calls have stopped but they are now calling my family and threatening them! Im about to call a lawyer

THEY ARE CALLING ME TELLING ME THAT THEY ARE CALLING FROM PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, AND THEY LEAVE A CLAIM NUMBER, AND ALSO LEAVE A NASTY MESSAGE.

I didnt answer the phone but they called my work and said that they were calling from the Hudson County Court regarding paperwork I needed to fill out. I called the 800-864-6033 and got the SIMM Associates.

they called my partners work, I did have a card from target that went belly up about 6 months ago

missed call. they didn't leave a message. i called the # back today and the recording said 'SIMM Associates'. not sure what they're calling about.

They misrepresentate themselves.

They left a message at my home said that they had a civil complaint and left a case number.

They called me last night and left a message stating they were working on a case in Miami-Dade and needed to interview me. I was also given a case number.  I suspected this was not the truth since I have never been to Miami Dade.

I got a call from this number today with no mention of a name or company from the caller.  I called the number back since it sounded urgent and got jerked around.  I was told it was a government agency talking about something so serious it couldn't be divulged on the phone.  They even asked for a social security number which I refused to give.  When I repeatedly questioned what the business/ company was I was hung up on.

If they keep calling and I tell them they have the wrong number repeatedly,(they do) is this considered a violation/harassment ?

I received a message from this company so I replied to find out what the problem was. The person that I spoke to was extremely rude and kept chastising me for not paying my bill. I have been unemployed for over 4 years due to a medical problem and surgery which he asked me if I was on disability I said no. He then told me that it was people like me who make his interest payments go up. I asked him to send me a bill due to the fact that we had paid another company and never received anything back. He refused and told me I was not worth the 43 cents for the stamp. I am glad that I read the feedback on this page. I will not be contacting them again. If these are the tactics they use it is insane.

They started calling about mid December about 3 times a day, morning, noon and evening. I had surgery for cancer a short time before this. They used 3 or 4 different phone #'s including a blocked out of area number. these calls from several different eople at Simm & Associates. Please report them because they don't stop harrassment. They are left phone messages. Only after I reported them as a false debt collection company to everyone I could think of did they stop. In the meantime I have looked up my rights and if they sell this information to another company I will be better informed as how to deal with them.

I am not sure that I am getting calls from this number or not.  All that appears on my cell phone is 6033.  They never leave a message but the calls start at 7 am every morning.  I try to answer them but no one is on the line.  I am not in debt to anyone but have a daughter that is.  Is anyone else receiving these calls?

These Bail Out Bank Bi****s want there money huh.. well tell them and the crooks on wall street to give us back our 750. Called me at work said they where lawyers and i was in big trouble, googled the pn# they are a collection agency who are nasty snakes and think they are above you, the intimidation though did not work well with me . Just people who are wanabees dont take there ************

these people called my mom and left  message for either my husband or I to call. when I called the number the lady did not want to explain to me nature of company or what was it about, I insisted and she said that they work with liabilities and pensions.
I have no idea how these people got my parents number. I want them to stop.

The collection agency people call everyday but they do never leave a message so that I can track the whole thing clearly. After several searches in the net about the number: (800) 864 6033, I found out from the site: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/forums/simms-associates.html that they collect for a payday loan company from whom I borrowed some money just 2 months back. Though I have enough time in hand to pay off the debts, they are continuously giving me embarrassing calls throughout the day. And sometimes they are threatening me also. Now what to do ?
