These people keep calling when I tell them the person they are looking for isn't here and english as a first language. They told me to get a translator for the person! I told them if they are truly a law firm with credited license they should be providing the translator, since they called me! They would't even give me an address! They also wanted me to give them the person's SS # to confirm they have the wrong person. SAY WHAT!! in this day and age they want me to give them the SS# when they called me!? Shouldn't they give me the SS# since they are calling me over and over looking for that person! I'm worried they want the SS# to steal from them.

So apparently they represent Midland Funding LLC, calling to collect a debt. Told them they had the wrong number and they hung up.

Recently, in addition to this debt collector, there seems to be a lot of calls I believe most from out of the country.  It seems if you ever had any credit they take a crumb of that transaction and try to extort money from you.  I hired a lawyer on another matter and this one I am coping all your comments and sending to the Attorney General's office.  If we must obey the laws of the United States then so must they.  Will post when I get a response.  In the mean time for those frustrated by these calls, get an Attorney, the fees are low and they work with you if you are worried about money, they will help you protect your rights.

These guys had sued me a while back (in nov) and won. I filed for appeal and said what I had to say. Times are tough and I have no job and with no job comes no health insurance. I have a VERY expensive medication that I have to take every day and can not get insurance because of pre-existing condition. Well my appeal was turned down only for them to find out I have no wages they can take or any property then can take. Next thing I know it's back in these clowns hands and I'm getting 5 calls a day I spoke to them and told them what was up and that I can not pay right now nor for sometime. They have yet to contact me by mail which they are required to do within 5 days of my contacting them (it's been over a month and nothing) and they threaten to sue me before they have any paper work saying they can. At this point they have lost out on more money then I owe just paying everyone to contact me and by already sueing me. I wish I could pay them back but I just can not right now and they know they can't get anything from me as long as I still have no job so they should just chill and do the job the way the FTCPA says they should

This number 18008692331 called me twice today for someone named meddler.  I insisted that person does not live here and we don't know who he is.  This has been going on and off for about five years since I got my new cell number.  These people are not very smart.  They are still wasting money and time and energy by calling me.  Can someone please tell me where to report this?

These people would not leave me alone.Sold my phone number. I was getting calls about over due student loans THAT I NEVER TOOK OUT, cruises etc!  Check you cell phone their are ways to block unwanted calls. I did it and now have peace!

This office is calling me because someone used my phone number as a contact number. They want me to give them information they should already have.

When asked who they are and why calling, a long pause.  Hmm.  Do believe someone was trying to come up with a good reason.  When asked for a return, non-800,  number.  Hmmm.  No answer.   When asked for their business license or proof of being able to do business in my state,  hmmm.  No answer.  When asked for street mailing address.  Not PO Box.  No answer.  Lots of no answers from this 1-800 number.

This place calls me constantly with an automated message. I finally listened and called back. He first comes up with the name "Hernandez" which is not me. Then finally comes up with a phone number to match my husband's name. Then tells me he is a law firm collecting a debt from 2009. So I start questioning him and writing everything down so I can get my husband to call back. I verified the amount he was collecting and when i questioned why a law firm was collecting a debt he got really rude. Then I asked for the name of the firm again he said "Never mind" and hung up on me. Jack***!

Just got an automated call from this number. They were looking to collect a debt from someone with a Russian-sounding name.  Obviously these folks just pick numbers out of the air, because I keep getting calls for a growing cast of characters in addition to the 3 deadbeats they have been going after for the last 20 years.

This number continues to call me each day, without identifying who it is.

Not sure who these guys are, I do know that I had an outstanding debt with Dell- I was dealing with another company out of Texas which I finally got tired of and discussed a payoff offer. I ended up paying 1100 of a 1400 debt and the next thing I know I have these clowns call me and now the its 1600. Asked why account was transfered and why it is now 1600 only answer I got was accumulated charges and no record that 1100 was paid to first collection agency. Auto. message is funny at one time it will be my name and the next it will be some other persons name.  I think I may just need to pay for an attorney.

We get calls most every day for a party that does not live here and is unknown to us. I would like it to stop.

They all attended the Rocko Shool Of Law where they earned the fine piece of parchment so so framed and placed up on the wall of your local sweat shop calling center. The big fat Blond "Alice The Goon" lookin bit%& in the corner office runs ruffshot over all the crackheads they hire to make phone calls. Check out all their pending cases were they over stepped the law and well went a bit to far and bended it just a little to much hell if they didnt rep themselves in court on these cases they would be broke oh ya they have gone broke and just re-set up shop under another name. PASS THIS ONE AROUND THE OFFICE BOYS and telll the fatty she needs to get laid.

These guys are taking over an account that has been settled for a year, however the original debt collector (who's now out of business) never told anyone the debt was settled. Now these guys are calling me. They would not agree to have the phone call recorded because they know they are in the wrong. I can tell you that i have been working my a** off to fix my credit and people that treat me the way Mann Bracken and now Fulton Friedmann have (all from Maryland) really piss me off. It's funny how its now my responsibility to notify everyone my debt is paid when the original creditor paid Mann Braken loads of money to do it...and there out of business. These guys should pay for my anxiety meds since their the ones creating the stress for NO FING REASON! Yeah, i got the satisfaction letter NOW STOP F***ING WITH ME!

Multiple calls from this number.

This company is horrible be aware.  I had an old credit card acct that i settled on them with. Made a payment arrangement w them and I call them each mo to make a pymt. The problem is they  put my acct on auto pay (which i told them not to do)  and they keep charging me double because i call them each mo to make pymts to them.  Wish i would have never settled w them. I would you think twice.

These people are rude, they do not even speak to the credit card companies inregards to settlements. We have been told by someone in their office(the only nice one working with them) that this company chooses the settlement number.  And once we did settle they are still calling for the remainder. Very rude...they refused to allow me to speak to a manager...and once we told them that we talked to CITIBANK and CITIBANK was willing to take the settlement we offered these people became even ruder!!!

They call me every day. Sick of them.

They call constantly, beginning at 8:30 am EST. They will call, leave a message on answer machine: then call again 2 minutes later! Highly harrassing!! They call several times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner with a recorded message. I have counted more than 10 calls in one day before!! Do they think I am answering?? I have since then turned volume off on my phone! My friends know how to reach me!
