They call me at 8:00 in the morning, I am disabled and I take meds to help me sleep, I am  never awake at 8am and it scares the hell out of me when it rings.  When I am half asleep I am not going to Press 1 or Press 2 and hold for a human.  Thats B.S.  They call my cell phone, and daytime calls cost me money.  So, I set the ringtone on my cell phone to SILENT, so now I can't hear when  they call.  They can dial away and it won't bother me anymore.

A person named John said they have tried to attempt to call. Gave the phone number 800-869-7434.  that they are calling for a Mike Bass.  No company name.  Tried to call back and no ringing. dead. Who is this and why are they calling

They have called me several times. They say that they're a debt collection agency. I don't owe anything, so I don't know why they keep calling.

These people who call from this number are involved in insurance scam/fraud.  They call you, claim you owe so-and-so rental/purchase money for some medical device or other, and it must be paid NOW to avoid trashing your credit.

Thing is, Medicare paid for my C-PAP 6 years ago, and they have billed BOTH Medicare AND my insurance companies, first for the rental, and then for the total cost of the C-PAP.  Plus, they have have been billing me for the rental, and now say I owe them nearly $1,300 which they claim is the cost of the machine!

I reported the fraud to Medicare and both insurance companies.

These people are lower than rotten doggie doo.

They also call using the number 1-972-217-8323 - Caller ID says West Assert Management.

I hope they get nailed to the wall for this!

My sister who lives about 700 miles away from me, got a message for ME from this number today. She emailed and wondered why.
I hope these a**holes don't start plaguing my family with daily calls. I'm filing for chapter 7 and my lawyer says don't talk to these people and don't send payments. Guess I'll have to start answering their calls again.

It's CBCS, a collection agency. My debt has been settled but they have been calling me and leaving that message with my name and that 800 number. (904)-722-2265 is the number that shows up in my missed calls when I get the message.

CBCS is a scumbag Debt Collector - People Listen to me - DO NOT DEAL WITH A DEBT COLLECTOR - They have NO RIGHT to ask you about a debt and you don't have to tell them anything.  Simply state "That person does not live here and If you continue calling, I am informing you that this phone call is being recorded and I will bring this matter to a lawsuit against your company if you do not stop calling this number now." - Keep a record of all calls from these scumbags - and when you get a letter from them, send them a CEASE AND DESIST LETTER.

REPEAT - DO NOT DEAL WITH A DEBT COLLECTOR - Everytime that they collect a debt, they get commission - and yes, even though they are not supposed to rude to you, they are.  Debt Collectors are low life schmucks that can't find any other work to do and they are hired for their aggressive attitudes.

1-800-869-7434 called and the message begins just like the previous post from "kma". They do not leave who they are calling for or even the company.
No name shows on the caller ID.

John Lewis the "department manager" called my house too.  I check my credit report and my husband's and we don't owe these people anything.  They are listed nowhere on it.  
Based on this I would assume they are a collection agency that buys very old debts that can no longer be collected on or reported for pennies on the dollar and then they try to collect the money if they can.  I stored their number in my phone with the company name so the next time they call I can tell them to take a hike...

caller would not tell me what crs is/was---------very very rude person who spoke----said they had tried many times to call, not true.   this person first said dept. manager then said important to call this number.     Still very rude person who spoke when i called the number back.................i kept asking what they wanted and who crs is----very rude to me, harrassment would be the name of this game with them.

Caller stated they were a collection agency looking for "Lori Anderson" from West Chester PA. This was a lie. They were actually looking for someone with my name.  When I called back they again stated they wanted to know if I knew a Lori Anderson.  I guess they thought I was born yesterday. What ever you do DO NOT call these people back! They will assign someone else's debt to you.

My complaint is the same as the above comment's. How and who can I contact to report this harrassment to. Please advise me on this web site and I will see it. Thank you for any help you can give me.

My MOTHER got a call today from this same number looking for my ex husband.  Not only have we been divorced 13 years, but have both been remarried over 6!  I called them and they rudely asked me if I was Mrs. _____, to which I replied "Not since 1996"!  They asked if I knew how to reach Mr. ____ and I said no, but to please not call my mother again!

Autodialer maybe trying to identify when the call should be made live; I answered and line disconnected.

"Unknown" on caller ID, but the number was visible.

"this is an important message for:___________________.If you are not (previous named), please hang up and disconnect now.Please call 18008697434 and mention reference #   so and so.  CBCS is atest to collect a debt. These creeps called in the evening and again the next morning.

I continually get recorded calls from 800-869-7434 for someone named Heather.  Right away, the recording says, "If you are not Heather, do not listen to this message."  The calls come when I am not at home, so of course, the whole message plays out, saying that Heather should call this 800 # immediately.  I have lived at this location 5 years and had this phone # for all that time.  I do not know "Heather" and have never heard of her. Wish I could get this message to this company so they would stop calling my number leaving messages

"Got a call from 904-722-2264 with a woman computer voise call asking for XXXXX. "If this is XXXXX press 1. If this isn't XXXXX press 2." I pressed 2, and then it said, "If XXXXX available to come to the phone, press1. If XXXXX is not available press 2." I pressed 2. Then miss robo-computer said to call Kathleen back at 800-869-7434. Don't know who they are, but I can gather by the other feeds, that these people are scumbags. Will always press 2,  and 2; will never talk to them or give them information.

Same as everyone else apparently.  CRS calling (for someone else, no less).  

Simple rule I follow to keep life a little simpler:
If I don't recognize the number calling (or if it's private/unknown), then I just do not answer.  That simple.  If it's important, they'll leave a msg. and I can decide to return or not. Besides, you then have recorded proof of their calls, in case you ever want to push back with legal action.

Called left message on my machine for my 6 year old disabled son with a number to call back, are you serious my 6 year old!!!!!

I have recieved A NUMBER of calls from the number 904-722-2265 and it is just a robot voice saying call 800-869-7434. I got this on my cell with other numbers every time. Not sure how to make it stop. Guess I need to just call this number and have my number removed.

Another stone in the empire of Capital One and it's affiliate of businesses. They are now in the business of buying debts and the names that appropriately fit them include, but are not limited to: scavenger debt buyer, bottom feeder, pennies for dollars buyers, low stakes gamblers, etc.

As a rule, they pay from 3-7 cents for these accounts, then gamble that you will pay them. Be advised that the cease-comm letter DOES apply because contrary to what you may be told; THEY ARE DEBT COLLECTORS!

CAUTION: I recommend you NEVER disclose your bank account or credit card information to a debt collector, as you risk them emptying your account, or maxing out your credit card. If you feel they are reporting on your credit bureau files in error or need assistance in dealing with them, email  the details w/your location.  Assistance and referral to a consumer legal specialist may be available.

1-800-869-7434...CVCS Cathy Wilson robocall left message regarding collecting a debt.  I called back and explained I had my new number for a month and that there are no debts. Then they asked if I knew Benjamin Jackson.  I told them NO as this was my new number and they said they would take me off of the list. They hung up.

Scumbag CBCS - They are a scumbag schmuck Debt Collector - PEOPLE, put them out of Business! Invoke the Fair Credit and Collection Reporting Act - You don't have to deal with SCUMBAG DEBT COLLECTOR like CBCS.  Do not give them any information!  DO NOT CALL BACK THE TOLL FREE NUMBER - They get your number immediately upon doing so.  DO NOT CALL THEM BACK.  Once you get a letter from them, CEASE AND DESIST !!!

How did they get my cell number? I hardly ever use it. I'm certainly not going to call back an 800 number and wait on hold for an agent. No caller ID, no answer.
