Wow

I got a call from 800-871-1194 which from research sounds like FIA Card Services which told me I had a fraud alert and to call 877-451-4602, to be sure I called my bofa customer care on the back of the card and they eventually told me I also needed to contact security which they would transfer me but it was the same number 877-451-4602.  Seems legit but you may as well call your banks number first before calling them.

OK, scratch that.  Upon further investigation by Bank of America, the number could not be verified as belonging to any branch of the Fraud Department.  Also, the caller left a 10-digit reference number (too many digits), and limited office hours (all of B of A's fraud departments are 24/7).

Whatever this number may have been before, it was left for me as Bank of America Fraud Department.  I called the B of A number on my credit card and asked if the number was theirs.  They verified that it was part of their fraud department.

Legitimate caller, NOT fraud.  It was Bank of America business credit card services calling to confirm data for a card I recently applied for.

I don't know why these two say it was fraud, but because of them I called BofA and confirmed.  The # is legit, and they had a record that they called me.

Phone call received from "Bob" at this number who wanted my daughter-in-law.  Said it was about personal information that she wanted and even gave a reference number.
