Can we bring this up to the police for nuisance?

If you call the number - they will answer.  If you try to fax their garbage to 800-871-4602 with your fax machine  You get "The number you have called cannot be completed as dialed - obviously they block the numbers that they fax to.

I also keep getting faxes from this "travel-1" outfit, about once every 2 or 3 months.  The name of the company (any company) doesn't appear on the fax.

The faxes are for cruises or disney or some combination.  Prices seem to be $389.  Faxes are directed to Canadians (price is quoted in Canadian dollars).  Phone number advertised on fax is 800-871-4602, but the number sent by the fax machine (printed across the top in small print) is 800-523-4587.  The "remove" number is 866-881-4784.  I called the 871 number and the lady that answered said that Travel 1 is located in Houston Tx.

I've called previously (800-991-5733) and they've said they're located in Columbia SC.

Each time I call, I threaten legal action with the FTC (federal trade commission).  Seems to have no effect.

Who are these klowns?  Where is this "Travel-1" really located?  Who is behind it?  What are some real phone numbers for them?

I've been getting faxes for months... I called them to have my number removed, they keep on saying "oohhhh but we don't want you to get upset and if you don't want our faxes, we surely don't want to send them and we will have your number removed", but I keep on getting the #$%^#^%#&^%# faxes.

I called and asked them what their fax number was and the girl asked me why and I said that I wanted to send them a letter by fax.  She told me that they had no faxes and it was another company who was faxing on their behalf.  I said ok then give me the phone number of this company, she hung up on me saying sorry I can't help you.  Does anyone have their fax number?

To all interested, I have sent a legal message to this company, I am with a legal agent, I have reported already 4 complaints registered with CRTC in Montreal Qc, CANADA and anyone who would like to support me can also make a complaint.  Every time you receive a fax, keep it, call to get your number remove, write the date and time on the fax, then call immediately this number to make your complaint : 1-866-580-3625.  

They will give you a file number, one per complaint. Then they will ask you to write it on the fax you receive and to send it back to them by fax...This will help them make a abuser profile.  And they will catch them : it's their JOB!!! This is the only way they can catch them : WE HAVE TO COMPLAINT TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE...  It works better with individuals, harder with Enterprises but still... complaint never harms in those cases this will show them there IS A REAL PROBLEM!!!  There is ONE for me anyways!!!

Been sending my faxes back to them. Now that numbers seem to be unreachable from my calling area
So it a real pain they just change the number and start all over.

As I suspected, I get yet another annoying fax from these f****rs.

I call to have it removed and I explain to the woman who answered the phone that this has been going on way to long. I have called many times to have it removed, and once when I called to have it removed, guess what?
Within an hour, I get another fax from them. Hmmm...that really is removing the number isn't it?

You know, Like I said above, I would hate to book a trip with these imbeciles.

Me "Ya, I would like to book a trip with y'all"
Imbeciles "Ok, lets take your credit card info and set you up"
Me *Gives info, thinking I have booked a sweet trip

Day comes for trip and I wind up in Timbuktu.

Me *Calls Travel One...."Yeah, I booked a trip with you and it is not what I asked for"
Imbeciles "Oh, we are sorry (snicker, snicker) Someone must have entered the wrong info. Well, it is non refundable now so....TOO BAD SUCKER!!!

These people are real morons. If they can not remove an email address from their database, don't expect a good trip. And besides, if the price is too good to be true, then it really isn't true.

Unfortunately, this will not work. I have been calling them for months if not years to get my number removed manually and because they are a bunch of incompetent f****, they will not do this.

I keep getting told that they forgot, or it didn't work for some reason or some other equally ineffective excuse.

I really pity the poor people who do book through them because if these people are as inept at removing fax numbers, I would hate to see the vacation you really wind up with...if you even get one at all because in the end, these f****rs are nothing but scammers.

And then they SPAM you more!

You can call 1-888-845-2761 to have your number removed from their list.

Hellooo everyone out there in telephone land.  This is an economic problem.  They fax you and consume your paper for a very small cost.  The only way to make it stop is to make it cost them.  This will only work if everyone plays:

1) Call them up and ask about the product.  "How long is this deal good for?"  OK, I would like to book.  Can you hold please while I get my credit card from my purse?"
2) Put them on hold for 1 minute.
3) Are you still there?  Just a minute please.
4) Another minute
5) Lather, Rinse, and repeat

Once they catch on to that, just call and put them on hold as soon as you finished dialling.

Each time you call, they get a bill for at least one minute long distance, and you tie up a telemarketer.

Pretty soon they will go out of business, and stop paying the spam company to fax you.  Since faxing costs money (toll charges) it will stop if no one is paying.

Altogether now: Goooooo Team!

It won't... I've done that twice now! I called her on Feb 25th 2013 and i got a new fax on march 19th and then March 23rd. Youll have to block their number entirely... Next time you call them try to make up a story about a purchase and you need to fax them your info... then block the fax number they give you. (this is what our telephone representative said to do. So far so good!

We get a fax from this company at least once a week. I've called their Removal Number each time I receive it and I still continue to get this fax. So, today I decided to call the number and a lady named Dana answered with 'Travel One". I then asked her for HER fax number so that I could fax them once a week and waste their paper and block up their fax machine from receiving this ridiculous fax about Florida vacations. She said they don't have a fax machine. I told her that I've called the removal number numerous times and it doesn't work. She began to give me a "database error" excuse, which i cut her off and told her that I do not care what the excuse is, just remove us from this list and that my patience with this no longer exist. She said she would remove my number manually. Lets see if it actually works!

Excuse my bad english. We are a french organization from Québec. We received fax from this number each week since april 2012, one or two times a week. I call at the number 1-888-845-2761 to remove of the list, but they continue to send fax. HELP US PLEASE!
