They say they are complete payment recoverey and that I owe 92 dollars and 10 cents for a rent a text book that was not returned to cabrillo college. I checked w cabrillo and they said I already payed the fee with them and don't know who this caller is. SCAM alert !!!!

I receive these calls at my place of work and they ask for the owner (by first name) and when I say he's not in, they say they will call back. We have received numerous calls from this company (both from 866-838-6092 and 800-873-5869) asking for bank information, etc. They are very rude and hang up on me when I press for more information.

Daily phone calls for the last 6 weeks.  When I called back and went through the automated system, the automatic voice said I owed $87.90 and would I like to pay that in full now.  I said no, since they didn't even say who I owed the money too, and all my accounts are current.  When the system connected me to a representative, she asked my phone number and then asked if this was some first name that isn't mine or anyone in my family. When I said no, she said she'd mark it as a wrong number.  She was courteous enough, so we'll see if the calls stop.

I have been receiving atleast 3 phone calls a day from this number.  When I answer they just hang up so I decided to call back this morning.  I got into a heated argument because in order to take me off the call list they needed my name, phone number, and checking number.  I'm 19 in college and don't have any debt.  As I started to yell at them they offered me to speak to their supervisor, which I agreed to and they hung up on me.  I f****ng hate people

Have been calling me every day between 8 am - 9 am. After reading different threads, I called the number and waited to speak to a live person. I asked who they were trying to contact, they said my name, and I told them I was not that person. The woman said she would remove my number from the list. Hope this works!

repeated daily calls..........I do not respond......cut them off so they can't leave messages.  they use both my land line and cell phone, but only 3 people have my cell number, and none are at this area code!!!  My solution is just do not pick up the phone.

I get a call from this number almost everyday two or more  times a day.

800-873-5869 is Complete Payment Recovery Services   They called my cell phone as they were trying to get in touch with a William.  I told them that I have had this cell # for approx. 10 years.  They said they would mark the file as an incorrect phone number.  Time will tell.

The caller identified herself as Keisha Kennedy and gave the number 800 873-5869 to call back.  As I have had no credit for over 7 years, at the time of my divorce.  California's statute of limitations is 4 years and cannot be re-aged simply by a collection company buying out the debt.

repeated calls to my college age daughter's cell phone over a period of several months.  She has no credit cards and therefore no debt.  Attempted to block caller, which worked for about 1 month.  Calls have begun again.

I got a call from this number and realized it was a scam when they started asking for routing numbers!

I got a call from the 800-873-5869. I do not have any outstanding debts that I know of. I have recently started applying for overseas teaching positions, which require me to send my resumes out online. I think this is proof that one of the places I sent my resume to was a scam, as I had my phone number on there, and I began sending out my resume only a couple weeks ago.

1-800-873-5869 - They keep calling and leaving a message for Chadwick Moulins (or something like that) upon picking up of the cell call. It is disrupting my work.

I received a call from 800-873-5869 but no message. I dont write checks so I don't know why they would call me.  I pay cash for everything.

I have been receiving calls from 800-873-5869 saying they are trying to collect debt etc. But we do not have any. How do I stop or block their calls?

Been getting these calls for months from different numbers. (205 area code, 1-800-573-5869/1-800-205-1400). They never leave a message. I called one of the numbers back a finally and it asked from name, zip and when it got to wanting banking info I hung up and came on here.

When I finally answered the first time, a Hispanic sounding woman asked for a Leigh Montogmery (my middle name). I told her she wasn't' there and if I could say who was calling she hung up. Second time I answered it sounded like a Black woman who asked for Leigh Montgomery and I just said yes said I owed money to Barnes and Noble for I think a psychology book. Said that she sent me an e-mail on July 12 (I don't have the e-mail they are talking about or never actually got it.) I know I returned all my books (rented them for college) and that this is bogus.
Sounds like they just got lucky with the name being the same.

So I just started ignoring the calls. Last two times it was a recording that made it all the way to my voice mail. Next time they called a woman told me to call: 1-800-813-5869. So i called that number and that recording said to be relieved from Credit Card debt call 1-800-205-1400. I have NEVER had a credit card in my life.

Despite one of the phone calls telling me that I had what "sounded" like what may be an actual debt. when they started pulling that other sh"t I knew it was BS.

When asked for ROUTING #, it also says, "if you do not have one, say 'I don't have one". After i replied "i Don't have one", it asked me a series of other basic questions and when i put in my last name, then first name, it said "We do not have this account on file, please hold while we transfer you to one of our reps"

I waited for about 10 minutes until some lady answers and instantly asks for my first and last name, and telephone number (which i provided earlier to the automated male voice). I then responded with "I dont feel obligated telling you any of this information over the phone". She replied "Why are you calling this number?"

I said "i keep getting phone calls from you and i want to know what it's about"

CLICK! the son of a w***e hung up on my face. couldnt believe it!

Want something from me? SUE ME. dont owe anything and i hope this helps. NOBODY should hand out information to them over the phone.

How do i get these calls to stop? They keep calling and i dont know how to get them to stop.

I've been receiving calls from this number and various others reading the same script for about three months now with increasing frequency, all saying to call an 800 number. The other numbers I received calls from where from various locations; I think the latest was listed as being from Tuscaloosa, AL. They said I owed a very small debt (34.50) for a textbook rental that I supposedly owed. I checked my banking statements, and as I thought, My university had billed me for said debt six months ago. When I called the number, they asked for my bank account routing number, so I hung up.

THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM. Read above for what to do- I intend to do the same. Don't believe their website either- it will pop up when you search for it, but the page looks very sparse, and it wouldn't surprise me if their "payment portal" was a spoof.
