Just received the same text. Ironically received an email yesterday stating to beware of this scam. If you do have a visa card call your card company and report this to their fraud department. They are aware and actively pursuing it.

dont answer it or enter in any information. It is a scam. If you are wondering if there is a problem contact your bank directly!!!!!!!!
CJ 2011-06-06 20:58:36 Unknown
Situations like this just add unnecessary
stress. I received the text at 4:38pm today.
I called the number given and the mailbox
was full.
Fraud Investigator 2011-06-06 20:58:36 Unknown
Regarding worries of phone account: Calling this number will do no harm to your phone account. The only threat is if you give up any credit card/bank information.
Fraud Investigator 2011-06-06 20:58:36 Unknown
This is confirmed fraud. If you have given any account information to the individual please contact your bank / cc company. To report the card as stolen so you can get a new card and number. Also, watch your statement for a while for unauthorized charges.
kk 2011-06-06 20:58:36 Unknown
Received this same text as all of you did and another one today from one claiming to be from sunwest credit union stating my account is frozen. I called sunwest and let them know, they said they were already working on it. It is a SCAM and people beware. My husband works for T-mobile and ive received 3 or 4 of these texts. I called the number but it said mailbox full. DO NOT give out your credit card info to these fools.....I dont have accounts with CU West or Sunwest CU.
