Has called three times in the past two days asking for a call back due to "time-sensitive material." Ha. They are now on my call rejection list, and I will check with NM Educators Federal CU to see if there's a problem.

This call does not seem to be identified.

With regard to my previous entry, the caller did leave a voicemail. They were trying to reach someone I don't know. Company may be legit, but their records are out-of-date...

Called my cell. No message left. I don't have any account with New Mexico Educators' Credit Union, and never have. No reason for them to be contacting me. Sounds like another scam...

Same deal. Called back on a message that left this number. The lady said she wanted to talk to me about my Visa and then started to ask for information to "verify" me. When I asked what this was about, she basically said she couldn't tell me that until I was "verified." She did say she could transfer me to Customer Service at New Mexico Educators FCU and did so, but didn't seem to realize that in my time zone they are closed already. The transfer went through and a plausible message played, but I still don't trust this situation at all. I am reporting it to the credit union tomorrow.

Claimed to be from my federal credit (New Mexico Educators FCU). I called back but hung up when he mispronounced "educators."

Left a message for me to call them,
and when I did, they answered "new mexico federal credit union", which is my cu, so I was off guard, so when they asked my name & address, I gave them.
then they asked for the last four digits of my Soc #, and when I asked why do you need that,
they said, "Ma'am, this is your credit union".
I said I'd call later, and they reminded me not to wait too late, they close at 11:30 pm.
I checked my recent transactions by phone teller, and nothing looks unusual.

Said they were my credit union but thought I was in Florida, which I'm not. Then said they couldn't find me in the system, started asking for info. Asked to call them back. Called my cu and they said nothing was flagged on my account.
