I received a phone call looking for a friend of mine. The caller would not give me any details other than he was from CCS Legal. I took down his name and phone number other than that all he would give me is a case number. I don't know how he received my number nor why he called me but never my friend. Please take my number off your records

Yes, the number indeed belongs to Columbia Credit Services.
They are the Sacramento, CA company that defrauded me through the National Arbitration Forum and James A. Cambece, P.C. of Peabody, Massachusetts (sued by the Massachusetts Attorney General for consumer collections abuses). The debt CCS purchased from a credit card issuer was never mine (I never signed for, posessed, or used such a card)and CCS was aware of it through my letters to Cambece. Cambece also refused to provide me with documentation proof of my debt), instead, sendind a canned letter with a made-up dollar amount, with no attribution. The fact that there never was a credit card agreemen nor arbitration agreement signed by me did not deter CCS and Tony Cambece from filing, without notifying me, an arbitration proceeding against me. CCS, through attorney James McCarthy of Medford, MA, is continuing to perpetrate fraud against me by suing me for the phony arnitration award. CCS and is currently being sued by the City of San Fransisco (Google it) for the same, exact practices. DO NOT CALL THEM!; instead contact your State's Attorney General immediately and seek personal legal representation.
