Everyone on my plan answered calls from 800 338-8112 with recording stating " As a valuable AT&T customer you have been chosen to receive $ 320 reward from ATT. I was told to log onto myatt320.com. Instead of going to the site I did a search and not a big surprise. Phishing

just got the same call twice from 800-888-9607. the scam is switching numbers so don't be fooled.

Yeah, same scam.  I've been called on my cell phone twice or more by these people on different dates about 3 months apart.  The message is always the same, but the amount of credit for me to "claim" changes, and the interesting thing is that the amount is always part of the web URL address they send me to.  I never went there, and I would be very happy if these people - and I use the term lightly - would be stopped.  They are the lowest form of scum in our society.

This is absolutely a scam.  I did it the first time and within a week my phone account was hacked and someone from Buffalo NY attempted to change my e-mail address and add an account to my line as well as do some upgrades.  Fortunately AT&T called me with a warning that my e-mail had been changed so I was able to rectify it immediately.  Just received another call yesterday with same offer.  DON"T FALL FOR IT!

Received a call about this scam 4 times this evening, at 1944, 1959, 2004, and 2013 hours.  Will block this number.  When I call the number back it is just a busy signal.

Robot implying it is AT&T asking you to go to a web site and get a refund or rebate off your bill.
It is clearly, according to others on 800notes.com site, a phishing expedition.
If everyone who gets this call would call AT&T and report it, perhaps we could get it stopped.
I am assuming AT&T does not want its loyal customers harassed. And,
AT&T does not want its brand tarnished. And,
No phone company wants its offers to be confused with scammer offers.

Recorded message instructing me to go to www.myatt320.com to receive a $320 credit on my AT&T services. Since my service is awful I figured they were giving back, but it's a scam...... The number will be blocked!

Does anyone here have the name of this company and an Address? I'm at the point now where I have enough documentation, over 40 calls from them in one week, to 1) call the Attorney Generals office and file a formal complaint as well as B) hire my own liar and sue them for whatever I am able too under the law.
They call constantly looking for a person, yes, with the same nae as I , but confirmed by THEM the wrong S.S. #.
I am done with their harassment and I am prepared to take legal action against them.
Any help with a name of the company, they claim to be ; Barrin $ Gibson Phillips, I'm not 100% that they are telling the truth. And an Address so that I at et this ball rolling.
 Also, know , that they will also call from - 1-617-213-7605. If you receive a call from this number, it is the same as the 1-888 number listed above.
Please, beware of their tactics. If you upset them, you will not only hear the foulest of language, but the amount of calls you receive will increase. I would highly recommend that , if you don't know the number, don't answer!

I received three phone calls in a row from this number.  I did not answer the first time.  The second time a recording said that if I went to www.vzw520, I would be awarded $520.  The third time the recording said that if I went to www.vzw525, I would be awarded $525.  I tried it, but the webpage was unavailable.  I'm not convinced that Verizon doesn't have something to do this with.  When I logged on to my account, I discovered that my Verizon phone bill is past due.  I think Verizon just wants me to pay my bill : )

Received 2 calls on my cell phone 08-15-13, 20 mins a part from this number. No message left. Did not answer as I only answer numbers I recognize and never answer toll free numbers and deplore phone scams and e-mail scams. If Verizon or any "legitimate" company needs to locate a customer for any important matter, they should leave a message or there is always the USPS mail.

saying we have $459.00 ...and to go to vzw455.com...no such address.........whats the point of this??

This is a phishing scam.  Automated message that said I can save $435 dollars on my Verizon bill, simply by going to www.vzw435.com.  What idiot would think this was legit?  Anyhoo, it's annoying b/c there isn't a physical person behind it, it's just a robocall.

I received a call from 800-888-9595 and answered it. A recording said I have won $440.00 on my next Verizon bill and to go to a website. I didn't take it down but it was something like www.vw.com. I figured it was a scam so I just hung up. I'm sure if I won $440.00, Verizon would contact me directly without an 800 number doing it.

I received a pre-recorded message saying i could redeem some sort of rebate for $435 by going to vzw435.com (when i go to the website, i received a warning stating, "Reported Web Forgery!  This web page at www.vzw435.com has been reported as a web forgery and has been blocked based on your security preferences.  Web forgeries are designed to trick you into revealing personal or financial information by imitating sources you may trust.Entering any information on this web page may result in identity theft or other fraud.)  I wonder how they go my info? (i recently had my phone replaced by Verizon)

Received a call and when I checked number is from India - equals telescam.  I am on the Do Not call Registry so WTF?

This scammer left a voicemail, the voicemail was cut off but said something like "...To redeem your $439 with Verizon.."

2 calls - I didn't answer - they didn't leave a message.  I won't be calling back

I recieved a call at 12:35pm and 12:55pm. The first call was from an 800 number, the second from a 1-800 number. I don't answer calls like this or numbers I don't recognize. If they leave a voicemail, I'll know whether or not it's something I need to address.

Contact the National Do Not Call center as I did and they WILL stop these SCAMMERS
