Fake AT&T number calling to give me $200 credit on my "bill". I have a prepaid phone.

I also have iOS 7.Thank god for the number-blocking feature!

Getting repeated calls on my cellphone from this number. I rarely answer as I'm usually at work when it rings, and the one time I did answer since I was at home, it was the "950 credit on your AT&T bill" line mentioned previously. Thing is, my cellphone is a prepaid Net 10 phone. I don't even _have_ a bill.

I got a call from *(800) 888-9618, they called twice. Second time they left a voicemail saying "$803. At verizon, we care about you." That's all it said. I'm pretty sure it it a scam.

I just got two calls from 8008889618 approx 20 minutes apart.  I missed both calls.

got called by 800-888-9618 twice and did not pick up.  they did not leave a message.  I'm assuming it's a scam.

Just got a call from this number.  Claiming to be Verizon Wireless.  They told me to go to www.vz803.com and enter my user name and password to get $803 off my next Verizon bill.  I sent an email to Verizon notifying them of this scam, but who knows if that'll go anywhere.

Call from 800-888-9618 with recording stating I have been awarded $803 off my next Verizon bill.  All I have to do is log into VZ803.com with my verizon wirless information and I will receive $803 off my next billing statement.....WOO HOO!!!!

just received a recorded message from 800-888-9618 telling me to go to vzw803.com to claim my reward. Filthy scumbagsss!!!!!!!!

only received 1/2 the voicemail...said something about "$803. At verizon we care about you, thank you & have a nice day"

Got a call stating I had a 850 credit on my verizon account and to go log in to  some vz website to claim it.  Recorded message too fast to really hear.  Obvious phishing attempt.  They should add that option to the call type here.

800-888-9618 - sent call to voice mail... Message  says I have go to my account to my Verizon to collect an $803.00 credit.

This is the second scam call i got today. claimed to be from verizon. but is ovbiously scamming people. supposed to log on to vz803.com

I also am getting phone calls from 1-800-888-9618. I think it's something of a scam.

Got 2 calls from this # on Monday..I blocked the # from phone...this is a scam!!! Telling me they have 900.00 dollars of my money and to contact them at some bogus site...don't be fooled u have to realize u can't ever get some thing for nothing!!!  

Thanks for having this website. It confirms that I'm not alone in receiving the annoying $950 AT&T customer reward from 9618 & 9616.

Looks like this number is back.  Got 3 calls today except this time it was ATT 950$ rebate.  Asked me to go to my.att950.com and redeem.

I received 3 or 4 calls within the span of 2 hours and got one 17 sec message saying to log onto att950.com with my account info to claim $950 credit. Of course I did not do it!!

Mine was from ATT!! For 920? Does anyone know what going on

I received 3 calls from this number today. less than 10 minutes apart.  telling me to long in to my at&t account to claim my $950.00 credit that I won. that will come off my bill.

I just talked to AT&T! This is not from them and is a scam! Do not give them any information or log in at the website given!!!

Got a call saying "AT&T,   you have been selected to receive $950 towards your bill.  Go to myatt950.com to login to your account and claim?"

I called AT&T who spent 25 minutes looking into this and told me it's fraud.  
I have had 2 more calls since then tonight.  
I am also a Target customer.

I got the same thing and i got a call claiming to be att and offered me 950 off of my bill and i called att and they told me that its a scam they want you to call back to get your personal information and they can not get into your account if you have a passcode though but if you do not they can so i would adivise all people who own a phone please get a protective passcode put on you account

I just got a call from 800-888-9618 too. The recorded message was spoken in clear english but was spoken so fast that I could only catch him saying the words money, Verizon and $950 before disconnecting. I'm not even sure if they said it was a debt I owed or payment due to me. LOL  It doesn't matter anyway but I decided to call them back a minute later. I got another recording which said the number was temporarily unavailable. Idiots. I really hope no one falls for this garbage.

I must be special - they say I can get a $950 credit to my ATT account.   .....and it's not even my birthday or Christmas   Imagin that .......

Recording said ATT wanted to give me 900 dollars HA couldn't be anything but a scam.

My carrier is AT&T.

My elderly mother fell for this.  They used her verizon account to make overseas phone calls.  She had over $1200 in unauthorized charges to her verizon account in less than a month.  DO NOT RETURN CALL or LOGIN.  It is NOT Verizon.
