theyv called me twice and hung up.

Did not leave message on answering machine.

8:30am on a Saturday. Answered, no response

This is how I have decided to deal with all those phone calls that are...OUT OF AREA or TOLL FREE or ALL NUMBERS I DON'T KNOW.......I set my fax to pick up on the 5th ring so when it picks up they log it in to there data base as a fax # and you will get a lot fewer BS phone calls it takes about 30-45 days but you will see it dose work,at first you realy need to be mindful then not so much.

Have received calls from these harrassers.  I let the answering machine do its "things."  they never leave a message.  Tough s**t!!!

Got a call from this number did not answer but it had 2 numbers:  1-800-893-1110 and V01211333050060. I don't know what it means but I suspect that the call is not from the USA. It might mean that from wherever it comes from it enters the USA via this 800 number.

I answered said hello. and guy said halaleba. Kiss my a** and hung up.

Called at 8:15 p.m. local time. I said "hello" and dead air at the other end, until a voice said, "good-bye." This company has called periodically even though they don't like the sound of my voice.

SAME THING HAPPENED WHEN I ANSWERED I SAID HELLO AND NOTHIN THEN GOOD BYE WHAT THE HELL AND THEY KEEP CALLING I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST TOO SO WHAT TO DO

ID'd as 'TOLL FREE'. Why do I care if it's coming in toll free? Is that supposed to make me feel special?

I do not answer when I see "Toll Free".  I have placed my number on the NDNCL, but to no avail...

I keep getting this call from 800-893-1110---and a woman told me that I was calling her---I asked what the call was about and who was the business represented---she got nasty when I said that she had called me and I wanted an answer---so I hung up when she refused to say who she was working for---then the calls started coming in over and over---I looked at the ID and would hang up---it is tying up my home phone line and I am disabled and need my phone incase I need help because I live alone. The same number repeats over and over with dead air on the other end and keeps me from being able to use my phone for hours---they have been doing this for days---can anyone HELP???

I think the Cordia thing may be a front for some arm of the Gov.

this company,  "CORDIA COMMUNICATIONS"  called me 2 times yesterday, the first time, the woman told me i could save money on my phone bill, about 75 dollars, but my account would remain the same, all the same features, etc. . . . . .  she told me that i would also get the next full month of february totally free. i asked her to please put it in writing, and mail it to me, she was like "you do not want to save money?" i again told her to put it in writing, and i would make a decision later, at which she hung up on me. later in the evening, i received yet another call from this same number. after the first call, i decided to call the number back on my caller id, the number went to a place called "SUN RIVER RESORTS" in OREGON!!!! the lady i spoke with told me that they have had problems for some time with this telemarketing company. she also said that they have reported them to the fcc, ftc, and better business beuro(sorry for spelling). anyone who receives calls from this number, please, i urge you to report them, they are a scam, they are trying to get your information. the woman asked me for information that she already had, she wanted to know my phone number, i was like you just called me, YOU ALREADY      HAVE IT!!!  she asked me for other information, but i refused to give it to her, which further aggrevated her, eventually leading to her hanging up on me.

they have a number you cal call to put your number on a do not call list,  the number is 1800 916 9950. give them a call, tell them that you want your number removed from their call list, they will ask for your number, give it to them, tell them that you have contacted the fcc, ftc, and bbb and reported to them of this companies scams.

got a call from this number. she said, i will be getting my telephone bill lowered and ask to confirm m y number.
I hung up!

Just called the number others posted and asked to be put on their do not call list. They are the first people to call in the morning and the last call I get at night with several calls in the middle of the day. We'll see if this madness stops!!!

THE CALLER USED INAPPROPRIATE COMMENTS AN LANGUAGE

Not sure what this was all about..but my husband answered the call and they told him it was about our telephone bill, he told them they needed to talk to me..I handle all the phones.. How do we get off their call list?

This people just call and don't talk ! Stop calling me !

They keep on calling me after 6:00pm Pacific time and no one answers.
I want this to stop.
How do I report this abuse!?!

This is something like 'War Dialing'. They are just trying to find valid numbers and they will either call back later or sell your number to someone else. I save these numbers in memory as 'Z Dont Answer', 'Z Dont Answer2' etc. (Z puts them at the end of the contact list)

I am on the Do Not Call List, but received a call from these people at 8:12p.m. He was very nice, and said that he can lower my phone bill, and asked me what phone company I'm with, I told him and then he asked me is blah blah blah your number, I said yes, this is correct. He said thank you, bye bye. That was the end of our conversation. I couldnt tell him that I am on the Do Not Call List and if he know's its a $25,000 for calling my  number.

was it a bad idea that I told them, yes... this is my number after  him repeating it to me?

I have been pushing the star key really fast every time they call. Tonight just before 8pm, I must have gotten a person having a bad night, because they just called back six times afterward and pressed a bunch of buttons themselves. Kind of scared me a little not knowing who they are, but after the last call I picked up before they could redial, and I called someone else. They haven't called again.

I spoke to them a while back ,broken Hindu voice insisted I could just change my tele service & it would be lower price & all is ok just say ok & then youd get a new bill lower at first higher later? SCAM don't do it!

They call my fax number about 6 to 8 time per day.  Once every few days I get to my telephone compamy website to check out how many calls I got from my fax line and my other phone lines. This number shown up the last few days from 6 to 8 calls per day from 800-893-1110.  I called them up and this number is not a working Number.  Because this company use a toll free line,  they can make as many calls as they can in any places in the USA as a flat rate.  If you get a call from a number on your calling ID and call back and this number is not a working number, disconnected or get someone else, the company is scoping the number and it is illegal by the law.  Some telephone companies  will let you block some of these number by getting on to your telephone company website into your account as putting in the like 800-893-1110 into the page call screening out numbers section on the web page that you do not want to recieve. I do that with my phones.  My company lets my stores up to 10 screen out numbers.

(if  you have a fax in your pc) turn it on  these callers for several days.... gets rid of 99.9999% of these scam callers since they use an automated joint  predictor dialer after three straight fax hits your number is removed until they sell it  to another company repeat as many times as you need....  (it's kind like spraying harmful bugs with DDT)

This do not call list is all well and good most of the time the only problem is that most of these scammers originate outside US borders (even when they show up as an in states call) thereby do not fall under FCC regulations. Kinda like when foods are imported into the USA and do not have to act in accordance with US regs.  as i have put on many sites :::::> (if  you have a fax in your pc) turn it on  these callers for several days.... gets rid of 99.9999% of these scam callers since they use an automated joint  predictor dialer after three straight fax hits your number is removed until they sell it  to another company repeat as many times as you need....  (it's kind like spraying harmful bugs with DDT)
