They called my house and ask for someone who was not home at the time. I asked them who was calling and they said Griffin Diversified and they would call back later.

This rude woman called me at work!When i gave her hell about calling my work number, she told me that I should not have used this number for contact..I am fuming...If I could have gotten my hands around her throat I would have yanked her tongue out! She talked so fast that it was hard to understand her,but I did get that it had something to do with a free gas card,a charge of $1 and she did get my mailing address,but that is all.

I just receive a phone call on my cell phone from a 909# and it was this same company that stated they wanted to send me 1000 dollars in grocery coupons and 50 dollar gas card for me to use and if i don't like them i just call them back and cancel. I just called them back right away after googling and finding this site. they did take me off the list apparently but i;m hesitant they knew the last few digits of my visa card. so that means they know my name , my address and card #.. I'm freaked out.. This is not right .. why is this company calling me

hi all--wanted to give you all a 'heads-up'--they called me (call back number 818-663-9432)--it works, i've called them back TWICE. woke me up from a fever of 102.5 for the same silly crap about winning gas/1K in groc.money, etc.  talked to "floor supervisor" Robert Smith--told me he'd take me off his list--said i must have forgotten to 'check a box' about no call back when I bought online.  2nd call to them yielded this:  GRYPHON (not griffin) Diviserfied @ 1806 S. Highland Avenue, Clearwater,FL  33756.  like i told the supervisor--i'm like a dog with a bone,and I won't rest until i get to the bottom--wanted to add info so all can harass them back!! of course no one knows CEO's name.

I jot a call as well.  Look out folks it's that time of year when scammers are out and about. Griffin Diversified called me at works claiming that I won $1000 in grocery coupons and $100 in gas cards. What disturbed me was that she had my home addess and last for digits of my credit card. I asked here how she got my information, she said she couldn't say.  When I told her I wasn't interested, she became really nasty.  I immediately called the bank and cancelled my card. I did a reverse look up for the area code and the call came from Las Vegas, Nevada.

These people called our home two days ago.  We have an internet line, not a landline with the local phone co. so I don't know where they got our number.  They told my wife they would send her a $125 gas card and a gift card at a restaurant for $25.  They asked for her birthdate and the expiration date on the card.  She gave it to them, but, we got REAL lucky.  This was a XXXXX card.  It seems that last month, that card company sent us new cards with new account numbers on them.  It didnt expire yet, so this was a surprise.  I activated the new card last week & assumed that when I did the old one was cloaed.  I didn't put two & two together.  Today, she called the credit card company, and they said they still had the old number active.  So my wife cancelled it.  

We called them back again today to confirm.  They said that the account was closed earlier today (correct) and that there was an attempt to charge $2 & change to the old account.  The charge was rejected because the account was closed.  (That's the lucky part!)  

We transferred to credit card's fraud dept and spoke with someone there.  They  knew about all that had happened & told us more.  Here it is.  

About 1 month back, they got a call from a merchant in our area (they cannot identify merchant, but I guess its one we went to legitimately.)  The report said the merchant thought there was a possibility that some of his customers' credit card nos. had been stolen.  The credit card company then went to work changing all those (possibly)stolen card nos. with new ones.  That's why we got new cards in the mail.  They left the old account nos open for any late breaking legit charges.  They were happy that we had already cancelled right before Griffen tried to test our account.  We gave them the 800 number you've all reported on, and they were happy to get it so they could work on it.

After their first call, my wife called them back, and got the same recording you all did.

This company calls at least twice a day...Very annoying..Everytime they call they want my husband, and act like they have top secret information on him. Last time they called they said they represented "American Express" and wanted to mail him a $500.00 gas card for paying so well on his account..I of course told them there was NO account...I can not get them to quit calling our house, and I have never given them any information at all...The only thing that concerns me more than the call, is that our number is unlisted, and they know who we are.....

The same number called me today but they wouldn't say anything when i answered. It's another scammer call. I get those a lot from many different numbers... i never gave them any info but they already seemed to have lots of info on me, like my address...... I wish i knew how they were getting my info. i got my credit card number changed just to be on the safe side.

Got a call from 800-895-0366 telling me I made purchase with my mastercard.  When I told her this was about the 15th phone call I received from this number, she told me I was psycho and crazy.  Very very rude.  Who are these people and how do we make them stop

I continue to receive calls from this number. I am on the "no call list" and they are calling my cell phone.  When I call back I get the "no agent available" message.  Who are these people?

What do they want.  I don't usually answer.  This time i did.  They said my name and I asked who was calling and he just...disappeared.  We're on the "do not call" list, so I don't understand whey they are still calling.  What's to be done?

they called and did not say or do anything so I hung up.  when I tried to call them back it said "there is no agent available to help you at this time try your call later".

I recieved a call from this number 3 times today. No one on the line when i answered.  I called the number back and got a recording that none of their agests were available to take my call, please call back.  This is very disruptive in the work place, My phones constantly ring with profitable business, I dont have time for these type calls.

We just got a call from 18008950366 Toll Free and said "Rolf" and hung up. Yesterday afternoon Griffen Diversified called and asked for Rolf.  They said they would call back later.  Are these the same people?

I got the same kind of call.  They knew lots of things about me: name, address, unlisted phone, last 4 digits of CC#.  When I said I didn't want anything charged to my card, the woman hung up.

I don't shop on-line very much.  One peculiarity was they had my phone # and knew my wife's name (we have separate cells).  I can't pin down who has that combination.

I have received 3 phones from this company in the past week telling them,"Lose my number!", they know my unlisted phone#, first& last name,last 4 of my credit card.I called back after googling them and found a Los Angeles phone# on them but their phone message says call Eastern Standard Time between....hours, they claim to have received my info from 1 of 1,000's of affiliates,whereas I have opted out to share info. with anyone,some company without authorization has sold my info..

I also just received this call and agreed to pay $9.68; although I asked alot of questions and will definitely call to cancel, I am furious that my work number was given out.  Do you know where I can complain?  The number you posted is cancelled

Calls daily.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know.  The machine picks up, they hang up.  No message, just dead air when the machine picks up.

I've gotten 2 calls at work from this company and copied down the number quickly and called. I did get someone and ask if my business # be taken off their list and they assured me it would be and that I would receive no more calls. I guess we'll have to see if that happens. I have received at least 4 calls from this number (Griffin Diversified) all trying to sell me different things.  They got my information from a "marketing partner" who made me a "preferred customer".  They say they are sending me gas rebates and want me to try whatever they are selling for a month for $1 and then i will be billed on my credit card (which they already had the number for) $19.95 per month.  It is always the same price for different products (shopper saver program, one-rate long distance service) and different gas rebate amounts.  I would love to know who their marketing partner is that sold my info.  I want to make sure I don't purchase anything from them again.  I also got the Florida telemarketing license number (TC3131) and the lady's license # (PP5018).  I don't have a clue yet if these numbers are valid.

I called AT&T AND the NY State Consumer Complaints about these characters...the 800 number is layered beneath another regular number, and cannot be found by AT&T due to the privacy act (what about our privacy!!).  The NY State Consumer Complaints Board says there is not much they can do, and we should notify our legislators about the harassment.  They got my name/work # from a purchase I made with a corporate credit card; they want to give me $60 in gas cards, and they want to sell me their product...another credit card.  I just hang up or put them on hold.  I'm down to about 3 calls a day now...

This company does not know the meaning of "NOT INTERESTED."  They just keep on calling, every day.  I just put them on hold until they hang up.  They are rude, arrogant and quite desparate for a job at Griffin diversified 800-895-0366.  They are not a bill collector; they want to sell you something...

Got a call from them and was advised that I was receiving some type of gas rebate in the amount of $250 and wanted me to verify my home address, and credit card number when I asked who did they represent and to give me some background on this company "Griffin Diversified" the operator was not cooperative I advised her that I did not give out personal information to just anybody, she preceeded to tell me that I was ridiculous and hung up. I call the number back and got the message that no angents are available.

Person called my phone machine saying he was from "Griffin Industries" and was asking about a purchase on my credit card.  When I picked up the receiver, he hung up.  When I called back, message said that no agents were available to take my call.  Likely a scammer.

Does the "do not call" not work on this group?  I don't usually answer unidentified 800 numbers, but this one has called so many times I thought I'd tell him not to call anymore.  When I asked, "Who's calling?" there was no answer.  Not a hangup, exactly, just dead air.  Make them go away.

These people keep calling asking for one of the doctors @ the clinic I work at!  They call over and over, if I ask who the call is from they hang up, if I put them on hold to get the person, they hang up, and they will not leave a message.  The most I've got out of them is a company name "Griffin Diversified" and that they are a mastercard company.  It is so frustrating, because even though I've told them not to call they continue to and it seems there is nothing we can do to stop the calls from coming in.  I think I will have fun next time, like FAB did =).  Also, they call from a different number as well...231-732-2641

I had fun!  This guy called and at first he wouldn't ID himself but I played with him....I kept repeating everything he said. He did laugh but then he got frustrated. He told me he was calling from Griffen Diversity? Anyway, he ended up hanging up when I asked him where he lived. HA!

I got called by this no. 5 times in past 2 days and I never call back cuz when you do they have caller ID and they know they have the right party.  May all bill collectors go the way of the REBELS....

1-800-895-0366 is the nuber of a bill collector they called and when I answered there was someone on the line it was a bill collector.
