It's just a wrong number.  My account is with Compass and they call me if there is something with my account that I need to be aware of.

Yes this number is really from Compass Bank, they just wanted to let you know that your account is overdrawn and need to make a deposit.

I get numerous calls from this number stating I need to take care of my account, I do not have an account with them.  I spoke to them and they state they can only look me up if I give them my social security number.  I will not do that. They need another way to verify information!!

This call is indeed from Compass Bank. An automated dialer will call your number if you have insufficient funds in your account or if there has been activity that they feel you should be aware of. Often times the automated dialer will call a phone number that is no longer associated with the account holder, and there is always the possibility that an automated system will make a mistake. However, nobody from Compass Bank should be verifying your account information by use of your social security number over the phone. They need only your account number and password. If you have been asked for your social security number, than you need to visit your local branch office in person as soon as possible to report this violation.

I received a call from this number and was at work so I could not answer it. I called it back when I go off and the automated machine said that it was compass bank...I hung up and called the number that i normally call compass on and gave them the number that had called me and they stated that this is not a good number for compass and that the bank would never call you. They are investigating and would inform all of their customers.

I had the same occurance today with an automated call from th BBVA Compass bank. They wanted my SS# and I said no as well. This is rediculous. Not a very efficient operation nor do they update there systems properly.

I have an account with compass, I called them and they said it was one of thier 800 numbers. So I called it and it went to the line where you can check on your account.

I received a call from this number today.  I do not and never have had an account with Compass.

Have gotten numerous calls from this number stating that they are Compass Bank and have an important message for me concerning my account. I have NEVER had an account with Compass Bank--this is either a wrong number issue or a scam

Its possible that someone accidentally used your phone number and thats why they are calling.

It is also possible that your identity is stolen and someone has made an account in your name.

Instead of acting like a bunch of immature kids about it, it might be in your best interest to answer it.

They call when your bank account is overdrawn.

I repeatedly receive calls from this number. I called back to inform them I do not have, nor have I ever had, an account with this bank.  They asked for my social security number to verify information.  I did not give it but they offered to place my home number on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

It is compass bank and they call here for someone who doesn't live here.  They have been told that numerous times and yet they keep calling.  

After enough of their nonsense I blocked their number.  Problem solved.  Call blocking is a wonderful thing, it works much better than the Do Not Call list.

Received vm a few times always at work. Saying there's an issue with my account to call back 800 compass. I ignored the first couple times. Checked my account online, no overdrawn or unauthorized acvities, none...today received another vm, so I called the bank, but use the # from the bank of the debit card. The CS confirmed my account is good, in fact they don't have my work # on file.  Asked if she could find out if there was such a call from the bank to me (on file), nope... so I'm beginning to think it's a scam at worst or they're just having phone dialer problems.

Received msg. regarding overdrawn account.  I don't have an account with them.  Stay away! Don't go there!

COMPASS Bank maybe.  I don't answer Out of Area calls.

call from 800-895-6622, recorded call stating they had important message concerning our account.  We do not have nor have we ever had an account with Compass Bank.  I would think if they are going to call with an IMPORTANT message concerning an account they would at least have a human on the line.  

Bunch of waste of time and energy.
