They call me everyday,  Says it's a Fort Worth, Tx number.  Each day they call from a different FW listed number and say : This is Erika calling from Conn's. The number at Conn's is 1-800-898-7105. I will be in the office until 11 pm. It is very important that you return my call today at 1-800-898-7105. I have a very important business matter to discuss with you here at Conn's. Again please contact Erika at Conn's today at 1-800-898-7105.
If anybody knows how to stop these calls, please share.  I have blocked four different numbers from them and everyday they call back with a new number.  Surely they will run out of numbers eventually!

Called back and they were looking for a Shiloh Frazier

Conn's left me three message in my office voice mail, they wanted me call back for my purchasing.  Actually, I never purchased stuff from Conn's, even my family members neither.  Before calling back, I checked this website which shows this toll free number is belongs to an irresponsible telemarketing company.  Then I called back, the operator asked my SSN to verify my account; immediately, I realized that's a fraud.  So I shouted to the operator and told her to remove my phone number from her calling list right away, she said she will do it.  

Keep getting calls meant for some deadbeat named James/Julio/Juliet Garcia. I keep telling them to drop our number, do a reverse lookup of the number to see who it belongs to, but no,they keep calling.

These a-holes keep calling me asking for Mr. Ramirez. I have nicely informed (several times) them that there is no-one here by that name and asked for the number to be removed from their list. Today I got another call from them and yelled at the lady to stop calling me and remove my number from the list. I AM NOT MR RAMIREZ and hung up while she was stammering to respond. No less than 2 hours later, phone rings again. I was on another call so I did not answer. The next time they call I am asking for their supervisor.

I am NOT a CONN's customer.

Never have been, never will be. Please stop calling me. Someone must have written down a wrong number (mine!) on their application form. Perhaps they even did it on purpose so they wouldn't be the one getting these collection calls?

Called again while we were here, and didn't stay on the line long enough for us to answer it.

Called our office this AM - but did not leave a message. Caller ID said TOLL FREE CALLE 8008987105. Got no clue why they're calling us.

Received a call from this number, no message but they waited until my outgoing message was complete and then waited to hang up so that it was left on the message.  It is Conn's, I called the number back, the lady said who am I speaking with, gave my name, she said "are you calling in to make a payment?"  I said "no, I do not have an account with you, so why would I be calling in to make a payment"  She then said well do you have a family member that has an account with us, I again said how would I know that, I don't ask my family members that kind of information.  She said she would remove my number from their system.

It seems Conn's calls any and everyone on your phone contacts if you don't pay before the due date. 1st of month my entire family has received calls from Conn's. Numbers I never disclosed as contacts regarding my account.

All for a class action suit!!!

The phone numbers (832) 266-0542 and (832) 266 0543 are also used by several operators from personal phones.
They are under federal investigation.  Although they claim to be based in San Antonio, TX, they registered the following address

I live in Louisiana and have never walked through the doors of a Conn's Appliance Store. Nonetheless, they were calling my home phone EVERYDAY and as often as many as 2 to 3 calls in an hour!! At my wits end, I decided to call them back ...repeatedly,,,just to let them know that I was NOT "Theresa Whoever". I called ALOT!!! I assume that they appreciated the incessant calls about as much as I did, being that I haven't heard from them since!

YOU KNOW YOU CAN SUE THEM THEY CANT CALL AFTER 9 PM NOR BEFORE 8 AM ESPECIALLY ON SUNDAY THEY CANT CALL YOU

I told conn's to quit calling once before and they stopped now they strarted again claiming I'm mr Wilson;

Conn's appliance won't stop calling do I really have to write them a letter isn't there another way?

It is conn's appliance I called them to tell them to stop calling and the guy that answered said I have to fill out a cease and dessist order and mail it to an address he gave. I said you are waking me up he got lippy with me. and they are still calling I entered my home phone in a do not call list but they still call.

I had a Conns account as well and was without work for 3 months. I told them as soon as I got back going that I would catch back up. Well they took some old checking account info that I used 8 months prior to pay my bill and tried to push through 4 unauthorized payments on that account even though it wasn't even a valid account any longer. Not to mention, they would call non stop all day from phone numbers in various area codes. The last straw was when the called my wife's job and told the secretary it was an emergency so they went and brought her up to the office. I called Dean Malone in Dallas, TX and within a week the calls stopped and within 6 weeks Conns settled out of court and my account was cleared plus after attorney fees I got a check for almost 7k. I will never deal with Conn's again.

Lol. These Conn's employees can't even spell. Hopefully they aren't  ever fired because they are going to have a hard time trying to find a job.

I get calls everyday from a number with a Beaumont area code. They all say they are from Conns and that I am to call them back at 800-898-7105. I haven't called them back nor intend to. It is very annoying.

I plan on contacting Conn's with a complaint.

These people are calling my in-laws looking for me and I'm not even late on my payment!  I called them back to complain and they laughed at me on the phone!  Real professional... NOT!!!  I will never purchase anything from these people again.

Conn's kept calling my work only despite me telling them to stop. I occasionally have a payment that is a few days late cause of my pay periods. Financing anything from Conns is like going to a second rate pawn shop. They try to bully my co-workers and me over a payment that isn't 30 days late. I called them back and said that I wasn't gonna be bullied around. They said, I should not be late even past the due date. I said, at least I pay every month. They didn't seem to care. I told them now because of Conns collection policies that I wish to go ahead and charge it off since they won't work with me. I told them to pick up their stuff and they said no bring it back. I said good luck. All they can do in Texas is seek a judgement. They for a fact will settle out before we go to court. BTW the loan is less than 1500. I know that I will waste more of their employees time and cost the company more by leading them along. I have the payoff sitting in a savings account. I'm trying to tick off every last one of them. I hate them...Conns don't bully your paying people that are less than a month behind. Now I'm going to charge this off and the ball will be in my court. I bet you'll work with me then. I'm all grown up come out and let's play ball!!!!

Guys if you view your contract you signed you authorized conns to call u at any number you listed, atleaset twice each number if contact is made. If you can't pay your bill why not post date a payment? People seem to think avoiding pretending to be some one else or hanging up that they have the upper hand but its our credit not theirs, not only that but calls will continue until paid. They can change due dates and even refinance over the phone . And saying your gonna go to the store when ur 5-15 days past due is unacceptable you have had enough time to go to store and make a payment..they allow you to post date a payment any day within the month so theirs really no reason why a bill can't be paid if you have a job and can.afford the merchandise.. I work for capitol one and believe me conns collection is way more pleasant then most credit companies... so basically u signed contract to terms and conditions, pay your bill no problems!

Well we get calls everyday from these ppl and we paid hem off but that is not good enough...U will still get calls and get told u owe them.....I have filed and do have where everything was paid for in cash!!!!!!!!!!! Do not buy from them y do u think they r call CONNS they really do con u and they do have ex cons running the show

what causes problems is people not paying their bills.

your calling somebody else ignorant....doesn't louisiana garnish wages if a customer ends up going deliquent or a loan or something. make sure you pay your bill then cuz if your a lawyer im sure theres probably no way outta that one
