Total A-hole, wouldn't tell how he got so much information about where my car has been serviced and how he got my cell number.  Was very reluctant to give any information about themselves.  They claimed I was an existing warranty customer in the beginning and only needed to update my warranty.

Auto Warranty Protection Services called me about a car warranty they were very assertive. I purchased the warranty from them for $195.00 down and $126.00 per month. My  transmission went out, the repair shop said it was going to cost over $3200 to fix it, but I remember I purchased the warranty from Auto Warranty Protection Services, the covered all the cost and provided me a rental car for a week. I only paid $100 for a deductible.

The guy WOULD NOT take no for an answer. Don't buy coverage from this company!
He told me that I could accept or decline(delete my account) at the end of the quote and after he told me the price I said I wanted to decline and he wouldn't take no for an answer. I didn't want to hang out b/c they'd just call me again. I talked to him for 5 minutes trying to just say no and he's like "i'm worried about your car with the high mileage -50,000 miles-, aren't you worried?". I asked to talk to his floor manager and he offered me a lower rate even! Just delete my file! GEEZ!

I used to deal with this company until I got laid off and they seem to think if they call enough I'll pay them.

Truthfully f*** them.

Guess what? I didn't know I already had access to resources I can use to avoid/ignore their calls on both my cell phones. I would actually prefer this company fails if at all possible because really f*** 'em. I'd be willing to share this info with you as a good Samaritan It may not work for everyone but I think it would work for most. Esp. if you're using a cell phone. I can point you to some services that can help you avoid these people. I can't put it up here because they might see it here which would kill my avoidance. anyway shoot me an email if you would like to know what I've done.

It was a warranty service company and I will admit I signed up to get a call, which I did talk with them and after discussing my options with them I decided NOT to get their services...that was yesterday...today they have called my phone 5 times...5 TIMES...What they are selling may be good, but I talked with them and told them no. If I ever were to think about getting the warranty the fact that they are repeatedly calling me after I said I wasn't interested is I would never use their company

These pushy people are from stoprepairbills.com - Call constantly and wont take no for an answer, even if you cannot afford their payment and talk down to you when you decline the service and wont let you get off the phone and try to scare you into purchasing the service even if you cannot afford it.  Finally told them no and to stop calling... a week later they just called again.  Ridiculous company.

HAHA these scammers called me and wanted to sell me an extended warranty on a 1988 Chevy Cavalier that had 478,831 miles, they told me that for $2,795 I could get  full warranty of 100,000 miles so i would be completely covered until 578,831 miles, they said they normally only give just power train warrannties to high milage vehicles but made an exception in my case. HAHA my car is only worth $400.

Telemarketer
I got a call tonight, the usual 2 chance warning on my warranty so I pushed #1. I have decided to waste the telemarketers time instead of getting pissed. So Tammy ( a screener) asks me questions and I reply with a 2002 Ford Explorer with 120k miles. She now transfers my call to Daniel a warranty rep. Daniel tells me that the mileage is too high but he can talk to Brian his supervisor. After wasting about 10 minutes of Brians time and agreeing to everything he says, they will over me coverage because I have too many miles. As he is transferring my call, I hang up ( on purpose). Daniel calls me right back on the # 8009134558 and give the the rate of $2700 for the insurance if I pay $295 on my credit card right now. I have now wasted about 15 minutes of their time. Daniel keeps pushing me for a payment and I tell him I will pay with a credit card. He gets all excited and is ready to take the information when I tell him I want to pay with my Coc@sucker credit card. Man is he pissed. He started raising his voice and I continue to call him a co%ksucker. I end the call with "don't call me again".  I go to another phone and call the 8009134558 number and he answers. So my solution to these people calling WASTE THEIR TIME WASTE THEIR TIME WASTE THEIR TIME WASTE THEIR TIME!!!!!!!
Today I won the battle of civilian vs telemarketer. So if you want to vent on Daniel call him at 800-913-4558 and tell him that he and his supervisor Brian are co$ksuckers. Remember to get past the screener first!!!    I WIN!!!

This company is a complete scam..they offer you a great deal on you auto warranty but you get nothing when you actually have a problem. They tell you all these good things you get with the warranty..you get transferred to a "Warranty Manager" who tells you the milage on your car is very high and they normally dont cover it but they will make an acception this time. They attempt to get your credit/debit card info and say you have to make a decision at the end of the call or they cant offer it to you anymore which is BS because they called me like 3 times after I said no with a lower price and almost had me convinced until I saw this site..So dont give them any of your info..ITS A SCAM.

We too were called and I felt something fishy after they phoned wife and not me. They managed to get down payment of $195.00. They explained to her same as one other person who replied to this site. But we were going to call cadillac dealer on this in the morning to see if they ever heard of them ( The Choice). But after reading I guess we will be calling bank to cancel any future debits. It reminded us to never give info over phone.I figured was a scam too good to be true as info sent for auto debit on account different than what was discussed on phone.Tried calling the 1800 913 4558 # and of course no connection as we were going to cancel direct with them. I figurewe will not get anything back anyway so cut our losses and get out.

Pretty well the same story as everyone else, got a call from an answering service saying that this was the 2nd and final call back for an extended warranty and that it was about to run out. This made sense to me because my vehicle is a fairly new 2007. So I pressed number 1 to pursue this warranty.I first talked to a lady who asked me to verify my adress. I mentionned to her that I had moved several times in the past year, so I wasn't sure which adress she would have for me on file. Then she said "well what's your current adress?" So I told her, and she said "perfect". But there's no way! I had only been in this new apartment less than a week. Don't even have hydro in my name yet, and or changed anything over. So things were getting fishy. I then got transfered to a guy named mat, he asked me a few more questions, how many km's? What shape the vehicles in? And so on. I had over 60 000 km's on my vehicle so he said he'd have to check with his boss or something to see if I would be covered. So I got transfered over to this guy, by this time I had enough. Something was wrong. So while I was on hold being transfered I just hung up! A few seconds later I got a call back from a different number. (The 1 800 913 4558). First time they called me it was 949 256 9179. So now it was even weirder, completly different area code!? So the man appologized and said "we must have got disconnected somehow during the transfer", not realizing I hung up. He said they could approve me for a warranty and blah blah blah, I got pissed off and started asking questions. How did you get my number!? What company do you work for!? The man tried to answer best he could but I could tell was full of s***! He said he got my number from the Ford dealer, but in our first phone call they asked me what make my vehicle was! If they got my number from ford clearly its a ford product. So this was crap, and that confirmed it. The man went on to say "well I'll transfer you back to matt and you can make a decision there". While being transfered I hung up again! Never heard back. Haha.

I too received a call from "The Choice" offering extended warranty for my vehicle."Dan" said my warranty had expired.I thought it could be true as we have had ours over 5 years. He asked how many kms. I had on it .I told him over 111,000.He told me that they don't usually give the extention if it's that many ,but, that he would talk to his superior to see if he could get me the deal.I then was transferred to this man.I was told that because I was the original owner and that we had bought it new we COULD get this 5 year extended warranty. It would be $458/yr. which worked out to $2293/5 yrs.Not bad if you do the math which I did.It worked out to $38/mo.The only catch? I had to pay $395 up front from my credit card.I told him I would have to talk to my husband I ended up phoning my husband while "Dan" waited on the phone. My husband wasn't interested which agitated "Dan" who then made it clear that we were making a big mistake, because we wouldn't be able to get this deal later because of the kms. on our vehicle. There is more to this story but I decided to listen to my husband.Today I decided to go on line and find out more. The number I was called from is 1-856-637-3693,but I was told to call back @ 1-800-913-4558.Things are beginning to sound fishy, especially since I just read in our local paper that there has been a similar scam in Burns Lake."Dan" said he would call back later.Haven't heard from him.
