The telephone number for employment verification with the DEA is (800) 367-5690.  Call them and ask whether this "Brian Caldwell" is really one of their agents.

If they say he is not (as I think they will -- what DEA agent would warn you in advance that they have a warrant to search your home, giving you several hours of advance notice to flush all their evidence down the toilet?), then you might want to call the DEA Domestic Field Office nearest you and report that someone is illegally impersonating a DEA officer over the phone to you.  You can find a listing of DEA Domestic Field Offices and their phone numbers here:

Call received from agent Brian Caldwell. Message left on my voice mail. Advised that he was from the DEA & that I should call immediately 1800 9145270  his extension is 101. He state4d that he also had a warrant to search my home & an arrest warrant for me.

This scam artist claiming to be Brian Colwell says he is a DEA agent with charges brought against me.  All I need to do is to send 1800 to have this matter removed from my record.  Ask him for his badge number and he will hang up

keep receiving msg from a Sgt, Deputy Chief of the Narcotic unit Division 38 of the DEA Diversion Control and has a warrant for me and my property to call back immediately to 800-914-5270 ext#102

Total Scam...Said I was going to jail for buying diet pills online. HA!  I keep calling him back asking for the spelling of his name, his address, etc and he keeps hanging up on me. Too funny. Giving him a taste of his own medicine!

I was told to call this number back because I had a warrant out for my arrest.  I called, then they ask for my cell number to call me back, they called, said I had 45min to get to a bank if I wanted to avoid going to prison 5-7 years.  The number on my caller id was 804-767-8688...however the area code they called me from was 402.  Anyway, turns out when hubby got home from work, he asked him for his badge number and they hung up.

I just got a call from this number as well asking for $1800 if not they would send out a warrent for my arrest. I was told i would time in the states and in DR.

called pm saying DEA  etc warrent etc told me to keep phone on go to pawn store for money western union to Democratic republic

said person, called my wifes cell phone. I asked how'd anybody get your cell phone number, must be a scam, right away I said to her. I asked what's the number, a 1800 number too. don't think so hunny. plus they'd be knocking on your door, NOT calling you about trying to help you stay out of jail. let me aee what they'd say. if you give us your ss#, your birth date and anything else, bacnk info or even cash. maybe we can keep you out of jail. could that scare some people. probably so. DON'T LET ANYBODY SCARE YOU. If the DEA is watching you, there coming through your front and back door. I am a ex Federal Law Enforcment officer myself. Bureau Of Prisons.
