It does financing for cars ect..

I get calls from this number for my wife but they refuse to leave a message.

BMO mastercard is using the Sykes Enterprises telemarking company to contact its customers for market purposes.  I am already supposed to be on BMOs do-not-call list, which I had confirmed just a few months ago, and they are suppose to update this info with Sykes.  I emailed BMO customer service and this was the response I got:

"Thank you for contacting us about your account.

I regret the circumstances that have prompted you to write to us. I can confirm that your name has been removed from our promotional offerings list. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

In regards to the calls you have been receiving from Sykes Enterprises, I have forwarded your correspondence to our MasterCard department. It may take up to 3 business days for a response. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

If you have any further questions, write to us again or call us at 1-800-363-9992.  Thank you for choosing BMO Bank of Montreal for your everyday banking needs."

They repeat call your phone number every day (sometimes up to 6 times a day) and never leave a voice message.  I called back and got an automatic recording asking if I wanted to be added to the Do Not Call List. I said yes.  Hopefully that stops them.

I have the same thing happening to me.  This number should be reported to the national do not call list.  I have been called everyday for the last month!  That is excessive.

This number has called me numerous times in the last few times.  Only dead air when I pick up. When I call the number back I get Sykes Enterprises, something in French, and then the option to enter my number and name to get removed off their call list.  I am a little hesitant to give them my full name so I have not done this yet.  Anybody have any idea who to get them to stop because from what I hear, entering your number into their do not call list is not working. Help!!!!

I'm in Vancouver, i am a customer of Citi (Credit card) if that helps... they call but no one ever answers so I stop picking up now.  Never (was able to) confirm if the caller was from citi or not.

When I finally called back this number after numerous calls, the message identified them as Sykes Enterprises........and some gobbdygook that didn't make sense.

These guys phone 4 times a day since March 1st.  Hate their calls!  email me for heaven's sake!  christophercorreia at hotmail dot com

they call me two time a day. why?

So i've been getting 1-800 calls for days and i google them before i decide to answer it. This one comes 5 minutes after i put asked to be added to another 'do not call' list.....  i have a feeling once your number's out there you are destined to wind up with at least 5 1-800 calls a day.

Numerous calls, never leaves a message.  No company identified on call display.  Very intrusive and annoying

They called me five times today.  Dead air only.  I called back and completed the "remove me from your list" procedure.  Toronto

I have this number calling me on average 5 times per week- never a message left- I never answer because they call during work hours.... pretty lame- is there anyway they can be reported somewhere?

They calls me three to five times a day. Never left a message. I'm in Vancouver, Canada.

They call me 10-20 times a day but never leave a message. Because of them I added my number to the "do not call" list.

I have been receiving daily calls from this number for over 2 weeks. No message is left on the answering machine.  When I am in, I pick up the call but do not speak.  After a few minutes of dead air, the call is terminated.  I did phone back and completed the option to have my number removed.  This generated an almost immediate call back (more dead air) and has accelerated the number of phone calls per day rather than terminated them.

I also got a call where they said they represent Citi and wanted to send me a free credit report in addition to monthly credit monitoring against fraud.  I bailed on them once they asked me for my birth date.  If they are from Citi, they should have this already.

I called back the number and when it answers it asks if you want to be put on their do not call list.. HECK YEAH.. quit calling me!!  Of course they say it could take up to 30 days to remove you - just get my number off your list!

Caller says they represent Citi Financial, but they DO NOT.  

First, they give you a (very) long winded speech about nothing to wear you down.
Secondly, they read your name & address to you for confirmation, in order to provide a false sense of reassurance.

Finally, they ask you to volunteer your date of birth!!!  Attempting to solicit this sensitive information is a criminal practice.

When pressed, they indicate they are a contact company hired by Citi Financial.  That may or may not be true, but they are essentially phishing for sensitive personal and financial information.

I started receiving calls from this number daily. Never leave a message, nor am I going to answer anyway.

Same here, called me five times today, and noboby speaking when i picked up the phone.

I get frequent calls from this number and whoever they are...never leave a message. They call up to 10 times a day and sometimes the calls are literally within 10 minutes of each other...seriously, WTF?

If it was anything important, would they not leave a message so I could return the call????

I answered the call and asked who is calling the caller just hung the phone.It is a very bad practice and

this # called and left message they wanted to talk about my account.I called the # back then the guy wanted my postal code #-i gave it.I asked what account and what company.He quickly said -----hills.I didn't get the whole name.He then wanted my e-mail adress.I told him I was uncomfortable with giving out my e-mail adress to a company whose name was unfamiliar to me and I know there are alot of telephone scams.He said I see and he hung up on me.

It's a call from some outfit called "Sykes Enterprises" and, according to the recorded message, represents a group of "companies."

so, I Yahoo'ed the name and, sure enough, it is a rather large firm that employs 51,000 people, world wide....

Ask if you want to be put on their no call list.....Guess what I did.....We shall see if it works oJ3R4r not.

Got this call, for the THIRD time in three days, So I answered it.

Got some joker who asked to speak to Mark Brahar, whoever that is. Told him that nobody here by that name. He quickly said OK, hung up before I could say anything else.

Geez, should have told him to hold on.....You know, while I got Mr. Brahar to the phone.....:-)
