got a pre-recorded message from 206-244-7254 claiming that I had won a vacation and to call back on this 800 number....no company name or other info.

Same thing. Left a voicemail that had the beginning cut off, leading me to believe it was a pre-recorded message. No statement about who the company was, and I'm not exactly prone to entering sweepstakes. Said that I had won a cruise to Cozumel out of Galveston. My guess would be its a time-share promotion.

I just got the same call w/confirmation PMI206 and told I won a cruise to cozumel and had a year to use it. I didn't call it back, but I never enter any contest things like that; it's a scam.

Don't waste your time calling back. Unless you want to attend a 90 sales presentation on a time share. The cruise you win isn't really free. Consider driving or getting to the port, paying all the fees, taxes, meals, beverages. These will actually cost you more than the cruise. The accommodations will be lackluster and more than likely be the most horrifying experience of a lifetime. Your spouse might even consider suicide, it's that bad.
