I received a call from this number 800-922-5555 and it was a recorded message stating that Verizon was giving me a $64 credit on my Verizon bill all I needed to do was visit this website which was Verizon 64/gift. I knew it was a scam and I'm hoping others do as well hopefully nobody falls for this!

Got a call from 8009228765 with the same 64 dollar gift business. It's a phishing website scam.

Now they're using 1-800-922-4455. I just got the same "offer" with a synthesized female voice from that number, said to visit my34.com. Websearch found no info about domain, but when I added "Verizon Wireless" it brought me here.

I got a call on my cell phone with the $64 credit also...from verizon, someone with an accent, caller id said "Unknown caller"

Call came from Seattle, WA (206) 777-1016. It was a recording by a woman with black or Jamaican accent saying I had a $64 credit and I was entitled to this credit if I logged into www.64 verizon.com. You got to be brain dead if you fall for this one!

Just received a recorder message from # 1-800-922-0204 (no Name) called back was a verzion number. No-one was aware of a 64.00 credit - the message left said that i as entitled to this credit & I was to log into www.54 verizon.com -   I called Verizon customer service - was transferred around  & blind transferred as usual before I finally hung up  in frustation because  no -one knew anything about this ... typical

Calls have been received from 800-922-2346 offering a $34 discount on your Verizon phone bill by going to www.verizon34.com.  It is a phishing scam and should be ignored!

A woman with a foreign accent left a message, stating she was from Verizon.  She told me I would win some "grand prize" if I deposited $34.00 into a (not sure whose account).  This was obviously a scam.  When i attempted to call the number back, i got a message stating the number was no longer in service.

Got same call.  Scam, considering o don't use Verizon!

8009222246 Jamaica lady saying I get 24 off my next bill if I visit verizon34.com

Everyone in family received a call within the same hour, from 1 (800) 922 2346. None of us, sensibly, answered considering we received spam calls a couple weeks ago from some carribean island. They ended up leaving all of us the same hard to understand, poor quality, blotchy voice mail from an accented woman or female-ish voice boy, that went like: "www dot 3 4 verizon dot com (?) since your refund is not guarenteed (?) simply log in and (?) 34 dollar (?) At verizon, we care about you. Thank you and have a nice day." I went to the website, knowing it be a scam, and entered false information to the very familiar verizon-like layout website and clicked log in, then it asked me for my social secuity digits, which i made up too, and it said thank you, you'll see it on your next bill and redirected me to the actual verizonwireless.com! Stay away and verizon strogly urges its customers to report unwanted calls. I reported the other carribean scam, and they refund our money that was taken from the long distance call. Also, understand verizon wouldn't contact you in such a way for offers like that, and especially wouldn't ask for personal information to receive the award (illegal). Good luck and stay away!

Message from woman claimed that I have a credit and to go to verizon 34 for a credit. SCAM. It has to be illegal to make these calls. How will the government ever shut this type of operation down. These are problems we deal with daily it's bs.

Recorded message from woman with  accent (call center sounds  saying "You have been awarded $34 from Verizon. Go to www.verizon34.com and log in to your account and $34 will be deducted from your next bill.. Verizon appreciates your business."

My husband and I both received these calls- one immediately after the other. It was definitely the same thing everyone else is referring to. Definitely not going to the website they mentioned!

Islander female said I was due a 34 dollar credit on my verizon bill and provided a web site to go to.

Got 2 of these today, from 800-922-1235 and 800-922-2345.  Both were the same recording.  Don't go to the website.

Same thing for me.  Message said "www.verizon34.com. Simply log in to your account to redeem your $34.  At Verizon, we care about you."  Not a chance this is legit.

We just received the same garbled calls and messages on both of our cell phones this morning. I also tried to go to the web page and it was blocked by our security system. Most definitely fishy.

The wife and I have received several calls which we have IGNORED. No message left. Out of curiosity I entered the website that others were told to address. I use Norton Internet Security and they have a warning for the site verizon34.com that reads:

Could not quite understand caller but gist was 34 dollars free something.

Just received a call from difficult to understand woman - something about gift certificate from Verizon.

I got a call on my cell phone from this number and let it go to voicemail.  As in the other reports, it was a pre-recorded message directing me to visit verizon34.com "to claim my 34 dollars."  Part of the message was a voice-over, but the last part was a lady with a heavy accent with noise in the background.  My first thought was it was a scam, and looking through these other reports, it definitely looks shady. Not falling for it.
