Same woman garbled message and half promising $35 credit for verizon and I don't have Verizon I have a walmart pay by month phone definite probable scammer.

went to voice mail. Message just said "thank you."

got a call at 2:42pm today March 13, 2014 from a female voice who had an islander's accent telling me to go to a website. for verizon (something) it was somewhat garbled.  Said my checking account was going to be charged it I did not go there immediately.

Caller left a message on my verizon cell phone advising that "this number has been compromised. Do not try to return this call. The matter us bring looked into."

Both my husband and I received simultaneous calls on our cell phones this morning at the horrifying hour of 1:30 AM!  We don't have a Verizon account and I'm sure they were hoping we would be asleep and would wake up disoriented and give them some type of identify theft information.  It was very odd to receive simultaneous calls from the exact same number on both of our cell phones.  It's definitely a scam...

Got this call yesterday and I got the same message as everyone else, said I had a credit with verizion and to go to Verizon.com. But, I have a dealer account that verizon gives me for free! Scam. But, I'm worried on how they got my number because I am on a big corporate account, so it isn't published.

Call at 3 am made me fly out of bed thinking it was an emergency. Call ended before I could answer. No voice mail. Couldn't get back to sleep. I blocked it.

Called at 8:33 pm and said the website had been compromised. I don' know which one though.

They called at 4:42am AND left a voicemail!!! I do have Verizon but  have never  gotten these kinds of calls before; I only have a mobile phone. Disgusting to be woken out of a sound sleep. SCAM! There is no money owed me by Verizon and their customer service wouldn't call at that hour.

I received a call from this number at midnight 2/27/14. They left a voicemail message that mentioned something about a $36 Verizon Credit. I haven't had verizon in several years, and I'm sure if there was a credit they would just mail me a check or send me a letter. I'm sure it's a scam just by them calling me at midnight. Is there a way to report this?

Just got call offering money back on cell...i hung up ...3:00 am in the morning! Funny thing is, i did just order phone from VWL. Maybe employee with business on the side?

this jack*** called at 3am.  i did not answer, but had a minor heart attack as it startled me out of a very deep sleep.  (never got back to sleep.)  when i called it later this morning, prepared to rant and holler, got a recorded male voice telling me not to call the number or go to any website given, and that the calls had been reported and are being investigated.  what total jerks.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't bother to answer because (1) why answer a call from an 800# before 8am when the caller is in potential violation of laws and (2) everybody that knows me knows well I'm usually asleep at this time of morning. This is straight up nonsense to get calls like this at 5 & 6 in the morning.

Called at 9:15 this evening, left message saying I should log into "my" account at verizon and redeem a $63 credit. I'm on ATT.

Definitely a scam, and completely annoying.

This is just an old scam coming around again. Be smart and add the number to your blacklist.

Called me at 1:52 pm on 2/2/14.  Luckily, I'd turned off my ringer for church and didn't answer the call.  Phone companies need to be more aware of who they're assigning "800" numbers to.

same problem. called all of our phones thus morning! called back and its some insurance agency. tried to leave a message, but it was full. thinking about trying the extensions to get to these jerks. how ridiculous!! people are sleeping at 6 am... what a scam.

Got a callt, a man spoke with foreign accent, hung up. Checked caller ID, it show the name of our insurance company. Sounds like it might be a scam for personal ID.

Got the same call on both my cell phone and my husbands prepaid phone.  Mine was on the answering machine all garbelled up to where you couldn't understand the message.  Anyway, was wondering what it was until I got to this site.  Sounds like a scam.  What a bunch of crap to call on Sunday.

I just got the same phone call 5 minutes ago,I do have Verizon but its prepaid lol......sounds like someone trying to get information.I don't trust things like this.

I have heard that there is a scam going around where the caller does this. Don't call the number! The only calls I would get at this hour would be a family emergency. My call came in on my cell phone at 6:00 am on a Sunday morning, but my phone was in the other room. The calls must be coming in early to startle you and make you answer. 1-800-922-2345

I just got a call from this number with a recording also.  I looked up with number and it is something Like Pacific Assignment Co. in FLA............If you call back you get a busy signal.........How do we stop these calls?

Just like the others. Garbled "telemarketer" saying I have a credit from Verizon.  Called at an ungodly hour on Sunday morning.  I'm sure if you were to log into the website they give you, you will be ripped off.  Verizon does not call you if you have a credit.  It will be printed on your next statement.   If you follow through with this looking for easy money, you deserve what you get.

I received the same call. Sadly at 4 or 5 am every day this week.

Called my phone at 6:00 am. Left an unclear voicemail about checking my account for a credit.
