Message asking me to go to website, Stating they are Verizon,. Even end with, "At Verizon we care about you.".

All the hyperlinks on Www.74verizon.com lead to the real Verizon website. They are trying to get get to log in on this page. Doing so will give them your account information and password!

I just called the number back! The guy acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and then told me they had been having "trouble with their phone lines". I laughed and told him to never call me again.

800-922-5544 was the number on mine. same message from recorded 'woman'

Phishing scam.  I went to the site.  It asks you for your mobile and phone number.  I put in bogus info (I'm not even with Verizon), no matter what I put into the site it said I was authenticated.  lol.

I got the same message of 74 dollars off my bill for Verizon from 1-800-922-4455 phone number this was the first time I have received this phone call but it probably will not be the last time.

Received the call on my cell then I answered Good Afternoon Fraud Alert, what is your name? They  hung up!

Left message to log in74 Verizon. I'm on the national no call list FCC.  I am not a Verizon customer I have Sprint too.  I am going to report them on the FCC web site.

Also offering $74 Verizon rebate. Phishing scam.

They just called me about getting 74$ off my bill-but it's my husbands account..

number called telling me i won a trip to the bahamas, and all i had to do was give them some personal info to confirm it was me.

listened to the vm, foreign sounding  female voice offering a $74 redemption. Thank God I listen to the folks at the Verizon store who were very clear about any rebates, credits, rewards etc., besides if there were any redemption it would probably be noted on the reciept when I signed up for the service.  

They ask you to log in on www.74verizon.com  the site is bogus, glitchy,looks phoney

The female voice sounded sounded hoarse as if she just woke up from a long bender and was calling from under a bridge.

Received automated call claiming it was from Verizon and that I received a $74 credit off of my next bill. I have run into scams like this before, Do not go to the site and give your account information out. The site they refer you to is very convincing. Take your billing statement and find the customer service number and call it first to verify anything that involves your billing and any credits you may receive before you mindlessly give out your account info. The other indicator is when I called the number back it went to a automated system for some girls and guys live " free" chat service, I will not go into further details of what is offered for censorship.

Received a call from this number with a recorded voice saying I had a $74 reward deducted from my Verizon account. Obviously a scam.

Same as others, have seen something about this on the local news. Called Verizon and they confirmed that it wasn't them and noted my account in case any strange charges appear on my bill.

Recorded message called both cell numbers in our houseold within 3 days. Didn't respond except to google the site and number. Funny that it came shortly after i had an issue with Verizon Wireless. I would not respond.

I received a call from this number today saying I'd receive $74 off my bill by signing into www.74verizon.com.  Thought it was too good to be true especially since I was having network issues. I called the number back was informed that I won a trip to the Caribbean and could also receive up to a $600 credit. Here's the kicker, the trip "I won" would only cost $59.99 a person and all they needed was a credit card. Goodbye sir (prerecorded message). You won't bamboozle me today. Don't fall for this foolery because it is nothing more than a POORLY EXECUTED SCAM!!!

This call is from a scamming company that is not Verizon. If you call the Verizon customer service number that you already know & trust, they'll verify that it is not their number or their message.

Just received this call twice - left message about redeeming $74 from Verizon.  I have Sprint service.

It's not from Verizon at all. It's a scammer using the Verizon name to get people to give up their account logins and passwords. Maybe you should have done some research first before trying to claim Verizon is behind this and looking like a stupid T-Mobile or AT&T fanboi...

Answered.  Was a robot lady voice saying I could get a $74 credit on my next bill by visiting 74verizon.com.  looks just like Verizon's website, but you have to login to "claim your reward." I'm certainly not entering my password until I can verify this.  I did just change my V phone plan 2 days ago so it could be a legit survey, but...
