The #was different on my call. 800-922-1235. Obviously a scam. The automated message sounds like it was taped in a moving car.

I just got the call from 800-922-0204. I am glad I googled before falling for it. I've been told to never give personal information to places that call soliciting you. I've seen this with bank names being used and directing you to a website to get your information.

I got a call last night from technical support saying the same thing $45 off next VZ bill. I went to verizons website but didn't see anything on my bill about claiming it.

You can try reporting it to Verizon itself, but more then likely they will just confirm its a scam. You can report it here:

I verified with Verizon if they are offering rebates. THEY ARE NOT!. Do not go to the website, they are trying to get your log in info and get access to your account.
