Some d-bag called twice today claiming to be my cell carrier. Very scratchy connection. Odd accent. I coild only hear every other word so no idea what they wanted excelt did hear them say something idiotic like I had won a whopping 29.99 off my next month's bill. WOW! BIG prize!

Got phone call stating to text to wwwmyverizon45.com to get $45.00 off of next phone bill. I didn't do it because I think it is phony to get information or get your money.

Yeah I got a call from a person saying I was awarded $45 but,it did show up from verizon on my caller id

I hope you read the messages above and that you know this is a scam.  The site is designed to look like a real Verizon Wireless site but it is not.  It serves as an illegitimate front end to the real Verizon Wireless site so it can capture your account login and password information.  Once the scammers obtain that, they login to your real account, add their phones and other devices to your account and run up thousands in charges. Since Verizon thinks it was you who made these changes, they will bill you for these charges.

It was a pre recorded message saying go to my version in I could get 45 off of my phone bill

This is a scam. If Verizon was giving away credit on your bill it would be done directly through verizon.com not the BS phishing site setup to steal your personal information. They are using Verizon's name to look legit. Best part is, I got this call and I don't even use Verizon..... Clearly they just bought my number and threw it out there. Some people will bite though and give their personal info away. Don't be that guy, you'll just lose money and they'll keep coming after you with new angles.

This is a scam to get your personal information.  Verizon is not giving away free money.  If they wanted to give you money for free, they'd just do it.  The wouldn't need you to call them.  They ALREADY know who you are and what your account information is.  The only people who don't have this is information are the CROOKS who are calling you from a FAKE caller ID.  The are trying to get your SSN and other information so they can SELL it.

Do not take calls from this number or give out personal information to people who call YOU on the phone!  There is NO WAY for you to verify who they are.

New number called me. 800-922-0205. Telling me I won 45 off my next bill asking me to sign into my account at myverizon45.com

I received the same thing today. Sounds like a scam The number that showed up was Verizon technical support, but when you go to the website they provide, it is obviously a fake version of Verizon's site and does not load properly.

1 800-922-0204 was the number that called me.  Seems legitimate.

I called Verizon regarding this issue and it is a scam. Verizon will never ask for the last four digits of your Social Security number.

Got a robo call a few minutes ago with a garbled voice telling me to go to myverizon45.com for the discount.  Caller ID said "Tech support."  How did they get my number?

Received recorded message, not a clear, distinct voice saying you have won $45. To claim login to www.myverizon45.com. Number that came up on caller id was 800-922-0204. I did call the number, got recorded message welcome to Verizon for such & such press 1, etc. no one answered on any of the options selected.

Just got a call supposedly from Verizon to go to a website saying
My 45 verizon.com.  To get a $45 credit.
I don?t normally answer the phone from unknown callers but on the second
ring it showed up saying Verizon wireless. Went back to the caller ID
and the 877- # disappeared and said private caller. Go figure.
 Went to the website to check it out, but was blocked by the Firefox browser saying
It was a phishing site.  Called Verizon and they confirmed it.

same thing as above, got a call from 800.922.0204 telling me to go to the myverizon45.com website.  sounded sketchy to me, guessing it's a scam.

My husband and I both got the 45 call ! Darn!!
