got calls 4 to 5 times a day from this number but they don't say anything.

I called this number.  It is Capitol One.  We don't owe anything and have even paid our statements in advance.  Why can't they leave us alone.  We are on the DNC list - doesn't that count for anything?

I too have started receiving mutiple calls a day, on my personal cell phone from Capitol One. They keep asking for a certain person/party that isn't at this number. And despite my constant requests for them to remove my number from their files, they continue to call.

The reason people aren't hearing anything is they're using an automated call system that takes a few seconds to pick up, once you've answered your phone. So there may be a silence for 2-3 seconds.

According to my cell phone provider (Verizon), consumers cannot (?) block certain phone numbers. Their ridiculous solution: Either use caller ID and just not answer, or block ALL incoming calls!

We get these calls, too, with no one there. When I googled, it came up on Capital One's Personal Loan & Small Business Loan website pages as a general number.

Continue to get calls from 800-926-1000, sometimes several times a day. They keep asking for a party that isn't at this number. And despite my requests for them to remove my # from their database, they continue to call! They are calling a personal cell phone number too!

Yeah, I'd like to know how to block this number as well.  They called me consistently at least twice per day for a month or so, took a break, and know call me around 4 times per day.  Someone please tell me how to block this number from calling again!

Ditto - everyday there is at least 2 calls from this number. They hang up after 4 rings. I don't answer any calls unless I know who it is.

Ive been getting calls all week they say they are from capitol one but I have reported them to capitol one. capitol one says not them. Do not give  Bank info even if they say you are late with payment especially if her name is Lizzette.

This number keeps calling me at work but no one actually ever speaks.  Very frustrating.
