My goodness..You would think you would do a little more research before jumping to asinine conclusions. It is from HIBU, formerly Yellowbook, you know...the PHONE BOOK!!

While not as big as Yellowpages, they still have a decent web program. I've had em for 2 years now, local rep goes to my church, and I get good results from them. I also advertise in Yellowpages but dont like their web program.

Lady called me to verify number, which I assume was because I have a pay per click ad with them and they give me my own special number for the ad.

Annoying but part of being in business. Deal with it.

6AM call huh... hmmm.

Never experienced this kind of problem that I know of. I've had hang-ups like any business will have, but will now pay attention to the specific numbers.
Just for clarification, they don't have fake magazines. I've seen my very own ad in the several months I've requested in their Antioch, IL book.

a man with a thick accent asked me what place of buisness this was and i said this is a residential number and then he hung up.

I received a call from this number today.  They asked if i was a mortgage company located in Nevada and then hung up.  What is going on here?  Why are they collecting this info??

Apparently verifying business phone numbers by hanging up after you answer with your business name.

They call me, ask if this is (my company name). I say yes. Then she said, thank you and hang up.

Received multiple calls - no response.  I called them back from company phone.  It is a company called Hibu.
The company will sell you print ads on their fake magazines.  I'm reporting them to FTC.  Too many calls (all unsolicited) and over the top sales pitch.

Received a call from this number. The women I talk to could hardly speak English. She asked me if my number was some kind of medical company(could hardly understand what she was asking . Told no it was not the medical company she was asking for. All I can say is ??????

This phone # from Hiboo/Yellowbook Advertising

They have my cell # listed as a Business for somebody else, and won't correct problem.

Calls at 3am are not fun ........

Customer Service lady appologizes and does nothing.....

I get at least one call daily that is a hang up from this number or a sorry wrong number.  I have want them to stop.  But can not get a person when I call the number back.

Getting the same calls. They do not say who they are from but  just start asking questions regarding your business. YellowBook should be closed down for good. They think they have the correct information for businesses and publish whatever they want- even if the information is incorrect. It is hard enough for small business to deal with everyday duties let alone deal with the misprints of these  "advertising companies". Businesses need to pull together and start filing complaints about them with the FTC and the Attorney Generals Office.

caller saked if this is "-------",  I said, what can I help you with.  Caller said, "just checking".  Click. The caller hung up!
How unprofessional.  The number is Yellowbook! What a joke.  Seriously.
Anyone giving these companies money for ads or ad placement are fools.

Figured it was a solicitor and just answered a simple hello and told the foreign sounding woman she had the wrong number.  She calls back and I answer, "ABC Packers, you stab 'em and we slab 'em".  No such company and I am not in that business but I am tired of solicitors and I jack with them.  She was polite and said she was sorry for getting the wrong number. Perhaps, she won't call back and it won't do her any good if she does.  Wasn't a bill collector because I don't owe any past due bills. Personally, I don't care who she represents, I am not interested nor do I have time for her spill.

Called our business and after I answered with our Company Name, got the "Opps, wrong number". I'm sure they are trolling for companies to sell our phone numbers to spammers and scammers.

Got a call on my business line, they said 'Oops, wrong number!' and hung up.  A Google search revealed this to be the customer service number for Yellowbook.
