File a complaint with your local attorney generals office ASAP.

Know that you have rights, which protect you. To know your rights is to protect you and your family..... This is government site that gives you the correct information as it is law. Take the time to read it threw and threw, it will answer 100 of your questions as for the phone calls they can be considered harassment. Most states have local laws on the books to protect it's citizens... google your state and collection laws there in.

800-929-8681 reads service on called ID.  They never answer when you pick up.  They call at least twice a day every day.  Why isn't the FCC and phone company addressing this issue.

Calls from different caller ID's same message. This message is for (garbled mess) IF this is press 1 blah blah! Fishing losers!

Kept asking me to confirm my address but could not state their business.  Said they represented the cisty of Houston.  Never stated why they were calling my work or how they got the number.  Asked them to cease and desist.

CONSTANT CALLS, NO MESSAGE, I DON'T ANSWER

We've been harassed by them for  about 1 1/2 years. They are trying to collect a debt on someone who either used to have this number or is just giving it out randomly. I keep telling them they have the wrong people. Naturally, they apologize and say they'll remove the number but a couple days later they call again. I've located, with a lot of detective work the address of the person they are looking for. I can't find his correct number. I've offered them his correct address so they can leave us alone but they decline it. Before all is said and done, I'll probably see an attorney for harassment.

This number sound like for scammers trying acquired information from past offenders. Offenders who are not in any pending or indictment of the court are being harassed by these callers so that can get something from you. Don't buy into these people. If you are truly under some court conditions, it would be the court itself to manage a mail or call to your personal. Certainly, not this stupid number calling. Plus the caller sound pushy and aggressive, to what I believe is unprofessional.

i got a call from 800-929-8681 and their is nobody on the other end even though the line is active

not sure why or who this is calling my son who has not lived with me in over 10 years

I keep getting a call from this number saying I have a ticket and City Of Houston sent my details for collectors not sure whats going on never lived or drove in Houston the date they are mentioning am worried on what to do

I am receiving up to 2-3 calls per day from this number and it comes across as Invalid Number.  I do not answer it and feel it is a spam.  No message is ever left either.  If I cannot identify who it is calling, I will not answer it.  Would love to have it stop!  

They keep calling for my deceased husband and will not give me any information as to what they want. I push 1 as if I am him and as soon as I say hello they hang up on me. My daughter called them back and tried to get information from them and they would not give any as to what they were calling for.

I got a call yesterday from this number saying that I owe a photo radar ticket from 2009.  When I told her even if I did, there is a 180 day statute of limitations on photo radar tickets that have not been served.  I checked with the county sheriff and they have nothing outstanding for me.  These people are scam artists ... BEWARE!

I did like Blah, as I have with others.  The calls keep coming but it's much less disruptive.

Dorothy's post sounds like a new scam going around where people are getting calls that tell them they have a bench warrant against them and if they don't pay up they'll go to jail.

This is an automated message for a debtor. If you go through the prompts when you pick up it will ask if you want to remove the #. That is all you have to do. Being a debt collector myself, with no debt, I answer every call that comes in. These people are looking for my wife's ex husband who used to live here. This is the first time they have called so hopefully they wont call again. But I'm willing to bet that it is about an unpaid parking ticket as someone else mentioned, as I have had notices for him at this address.

Called and abusively  claimed there was a  large bill for unpaid parking tickets in X city. They kept yelling at me that if I did not work with them, I would have to deal with X city and made it sound as if something awful would happen.   When I asked them to mail me a copy of the bill, they yelled at me, saying it would be my problem,  and hung up.

I called X city and they ran everything through their computer and even did a national search. There were no unpaid parking tickets anywhere.  

I still receive daily calls from this company but I do not answer them. They leave no messages.

This stupid number calls me EVERY SINGLE DAY without fail. They've called so many times that I decided to put my land-line phone's call block to use, so now every time they call it rings once and gives them a busy signal.

Still, I wish there were a way to completely stop them from getting through at all.

They also use a variation of this #. 800-929-8689 being one of them.

Every day I get a call saying FREE CALL TOLL. When I answered it ...nothing.. no people.. no telemarketing not even a message or recording

I have received calls from this phone number for months and months. It is always a recorded
message, "To accept push 1"......They never identify themselves and there is not way to
get off of their list. I, too, am on the national do not call registry and I owe no one any money.

I received a call on March 3 at 8 p.m.  No one answered.

Got a call from this number twice within eleven minutes of each other. Each time that it calls I ignore it, as I have no dealings with any company called MRS.
