ok I have an answer to all your questions about who is calling from these #s how about the lawyers that want to sue the collection companies??? did any of you think it might be them? I have. any way just dont answer the calls that is what caller ID is for, if it is an unknown # and it is important they WILL leave a message, RIGHT?

800-930-9116 Posing as a telemarketer for Special Olympics. I think this is a collection agency and would report it if I knew the name of the agency. They sure have every nefarious way possible to get around the do not call registry.

Have been getting calls from this number. I called them back and got a recording telling me to call 866-544-4880 for customer service. I did and requested my name to be removed from their calling list. The customer rep did this and said it would take a few days for it to go through and apologized in advance for any calls that came before it took effect. Hopefully this will work.

Have received at least 1 call a day for the past 4 days (that's when I started monitoring it). I am on the "Do Not Call" list. Very aggrevating.

Special Olympics trying to sell magazines as a fundraiser. It's a do-not-call violation anyway because they're selling a product, but hopefully it's a third party calling on behalf of the org because there's no way in hell the FTC or FCC is going to fine a legitimate charity.
