I recieved a call as well around 10:35pm.  Saying my Mastercard was lock up and I needed to act.  I don't even own a Mastercard.  Randomly enough though the number calling in showed up as 1.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone, which is on the do not call list. The recording said my Master Card has been locked. I hung up. They did not mention which bank they were from, but I knew it was bogus.

I also received this call.  My caller ID listed the number simply as "801."  I hung up as soon as it started asking for personal info.

Same thing. Today, at 8:51AM PST, received a partial message on my voicemail, saying something about being transferred to a security department. Then the message terminated. Noted that on my phone log, there is no evidence that this call was received. Had to go through the voicemail menu and open the call envelope up to get the number.

These dopes called my cell at 3:30am.  Either they hope to get unthinking responses from some sleepy people, or they just let their bots run continuously, because who cares about the time?  In the other comments here, I don't see even a hint of legitimacy.  

My simple but effective defense on all such calls is to not answer if I don't know the number.  If there is any legitimacy or urgency, they'll leave a msg.  Even then, I google 'em first and almost never call back. Never once have I regretted not calling back.  :)

Go a call from 800-931-9815 and they left a message to push one to obtain the security department.

I received an automated call on my cell phone saying my MasterCard is locked, hit 1 and then enter my MasterCard number to unlock.  Since I don't have a MasterCard is was definitely suspect.  There was no way to dial out to a person.

Wise Didn't complete the call.  Hung up to recall.  Got busy tone.

I got a call from this number on my cell today.  I didn't answer it.  Glad I didn't.

yes yes yes a definite scam.  Same ruse as described above.  Locked out MC and always busy

(800) 931-9815 called me on a Sunday morning. it was an automated call saying my "Trans Credit Union" account had been locked and i needed to press 1 to continue on to be able to unlock it. I just hung up because i don't have any type of account with credit union in the name. Scam!

Received a automated voice mail from this number (800-931-9815) at 7:51am on a Sunday morning. The message was partially cut off, but stated it was a company based in the state I live in and that my account had been locked. Please press one to be transferred to the security department.
I have no accounts locked at this moment and attempting to call back the toll free number results in a busy signal like tone.

Rec'd call from this number on my cell phone at 12:52 am today.  Recording advised my account had been closed and to press 1 for security.  I did not press 1 . . . I knew it had to be a scam.

JUst got a call from 800-931-9815 advising my account was locked, press 1 to reach security.  The line went dead after about 30 seconds.

Called said my Suntrust bank account was locked and to unlock it I had to do something. That is when I hung up especially since I do not have an account with Suntrust.

That's a scam, just hang up.  They called me at midnight, didn't tell me what bank or credit company.

My wife just received the same call on her cell phone saying a Mastercard was locked.  She just hung up on it.  Definitely a scam.

Just got a call from this number on my cell saying my mastercard had been locked, I don't even have a Master Card, I tried getting an actual person on the phone but to no success. I DID NOT ener any personal info. This is a scam, Don't give them any information.

Got a call late last night on my cell.  Said something about my account at keesler, which I don't have.  I did not respond and they hung up. Very short, too short to trace.

Got same type message telling me my account was frozen and had to call the security department to re-open the account. Company name was muffled. Didn't call, all my accounts are good to go.

I just got a call from this number on my land line. The name of the company was muted so I could not tell which company was making the call. Then it asked for me to press one to unlock my account. I tried to speed dial this number, but it only gives a busy tone. My accounts are up to date. This is an obvious scam.
