As for my case, this number is from a legitimate company, Medical Alert. My Mother needed a "lift assist" and
Medical Alert dispatched the local EMTs who handled the situation.  I received the call to my home phone on
March 20, 2014, to make me aware of the event.

This is a legitimate number.  I received a call from Medical Alert on March 20, 2014, at 3:36 A.M..  
My Mother had slipped out of her bed and couldn't get into her wheel chair...Medical Alert dispatched
the local EMTs for a "Lift Assist" for her.  Everything worked out well.

Legit security company. Medical alert for my grandfather calling to say hat the battery was low on his emergency alert system.

This is a legit company. They called in behalf of my father-in-law to say that he fell, and hit his head. He had the ambulance, and the fire department at his house. So they called us up to let us know at 1:00 a.m. It must be a pretty bad gash in his head. He's old.

Called at 2:00 am! Stop calling me

This is a legit call from an alarm monitoring company. The company monitors alarm signals for many alarm services, so their name is different from the alarm company you may have signed up with.

I don't want calls from this number.

I have Frontpoint alarm system at home. My mom accidentally opened one of the windows without disarming the system and the alarm immediately went off. I am one of the primary contacts, so I was called.

Security and alarm monitoring

As others have mentioned, this IS a valid number from a security monitoring company, specifically one that monitors our medical alert service.  They called to notify us about a low battery signal coming from the box connected to our phone line and how to correct the problem.  We followed the instructions and the unit's battery is now recharging.

If you have a medical alert system you may get a call from them if there is a technical problem that needs to be resolved; also, your "emergency contacts" may also get the same call.

If you are getting calls from this number, it because you are somehow associated with an alarm system. Whether you own it, or know someone who owns one like family, your business, a friend or a neighbor. The alarm system owner makes the call list, and if they didn't tell you before you end up getting calls you need to blame them. If you want your number removed, just ask. If you're getting calls about your work, you'll want to ask your boss before removing your number. They listed you as a key holder for a reason.

Keep this in mind when you get a call at 3AM because your neighbor's alarm is going off and they didn't bother to tell you they put you down as an emergency contact. The security company doesn't know that, they're just following your neighbor's instructions.

This is a Legit central monitoring company for Home and Business alarms.

This number is RSI - it is a security monitoring company that is located in the WV area.  I got a call today to let us know that our Youth Center alarm had been triggered.  They are a legitimate company.

If this truely is an alarm company they need to work on their protocol. I work for an alarm company and we would never call somewhere and not leave a message, even if we are sure its a wrong number. And we definatley wouldn't sell our customer info to another company or contract out the work.

If this number called you And did not leave a message it is bc your number is listed as the premise phone number on the account and when it is called they need a password or pass code to verify you first. If the voice mail or answering machine picks up they are not allowed to leave case sensitive material on it. You are all stupid for thinking they are pranking you. Just call back and tell them to take you off the call list for that account. They monitoring over 500,000 accounts. The alarm companies you bought the system from hires this company to monitor the account. They sell the system install it have a local office for service issues but they do not monitor the account. And this company also provides an answering service for a lot of companies after they closed.

Your company has this monitoring center monitor your account. No Alarm company monitors their own account. You are a moron and shouldn't own a system

This one is from my alarm company telling me they received a low battery alert from my alarm pad.

call the number back. give the operator your number. explain what is happening. if you are not affiliated with the business or residence tell them and they will gladly remove your number from the call list

it's the main phone number for rapid response monitoring. a central station that monitors accounts for probably 2000 smaller security dealers that pay them to monitor their accounts for them because they don't have the means to monitor their own accounts. it is not a fake security company. and they do not steal. they tell you they can not tell you where they are lcated for security reasons because they don't want customers in CA to know the central station monitoring their fire and security system is 2500 miles away.

This number is with a Central Monitoring Company. If you had a Local Locksmith/Alarm company install you home alarm they would have your alarm monitored by them and they call Police and then you

Confirmed:  This is an operations facility for emergency and alarm notifications.  It is possible that the call center handles other business, but if you have an alarm system or some form of emergency notification, you should PICK UP!

My neighbor has a medical alert device and he has me listed as a contact. His alarm went off so they called me to check on him. They provided a callback number on my voicemail of 855-369-5474 with a reference number for the call. I'm guessing many different companies might use this call center thus, people reporting various different alarm types.

I do have an alarm system, though not related to this number.  The 8009323822 somehow got my information and is now calling me and not leaving messages.  Please remove me from any calling list.
When I called the number back (not from the same number they called me on..). I got a person who answered "services" and how he can help me.
Needless to say, I hung up on him..

I signed up for an alarm monitoring service through medical alert... It is just them calling to tell me, my wife is going to the hospital, and it is an emergency.

This is an alarm company.  I called them to ask them to remove me from their database.  They had my mobile number in their database, listed as belonging to "William Fergusen."  I have had the same number since 1994 -- obviously someone made a mistake entering Mr. Fergusen's number into their system.  It does not appear to be a scam, at least not so far.
