they called my wifes ex-sister-in-law and said they needed to get ahold of us for some account info. Never stating who they belong to. all I got was an employees name and ext. I am launching a criminal investigation for identity theft and terrorism, into this company.

i have been receiving calls from these people alsoabout someone else.  They say the same as above.  How can I have them investigated also?

These people keep calling my Father In Law about getting in touch with me. I don't know why they are calling me. I think they look up an address on the same street and call them trying to piss you off so you will call them. I'm filing a complaint.

i get about five calls a day from this number all times of the day and night
i call back but no one can tell me why they are calling

I have an account through HSBC, but it's paid.  I have no idea why this number is calling me.  They are a pain in the a**, though.

I was getting calls from this number also.  They finally left a message for a John Thomas and a number for him to please call them back.  I called back and told them they were trying to reach someone that did not work/live at this number.  The guy I spoke to was very nice - he told me he would take the number out of the system.  That my number was the number that was given to them.  I get calls like this off and on during the year.  I always check my credit reports to make sure nothing is going on.  I do believe in my message - they were trying to collect from Mazda - ???  Good luck to you all...

They also collect for Capital One and they are a**es.  They are trying to reach my sister in-law.  She has spoken to them and informed them that she is unemployed and cannot pay at this time.  So they faithfully call every single day at 8:15 AM sharp.  I finally had enough and told them that this is my house and my phone number and they are to remove my number from their system.  Of course they said that they would remove my number and that I would not receive anymore calls.  That was on Tuesday, it is now Friday and they continued the onslaught every day this week.

I AM SICK OF THIS NUMBER ALWAYS RINGING MY HOUSE AT LATE HOURS AND WEEKENDS. HOW CAN I MAKE THEM STOP

this is a collection company for HSBC Bank or so they say, HSBC wont reply about them ~

Secretary passes me a message from "La Quita Chamber" 1 800 932 4808..... asks me to call and quote a code for reference. Did not know what this was about...I thought one of our sales reps had no paid a bill - or had a payment hiccup at a eatery place. Anyway..I call and get a female voice...who immediately tells me she must make a decision today.....

I put the phone down. I do not know these people. I googled and found out it was a debt collector.

These people called my house trying to speak with my brother. My brother is 6 years old. They refused to identify themselves but only asked to speak to our parents. I asked to speak to a supervisor there and were refused. Who are these people and why are they coming after my younger brother?

i finally called this number back. Told the lady that answered i just googled the number and it looked like a scam to get cc numbers told her i didnt have any cc so she was out of luck then she told me she was looking for Patricia Richardson...I told her I did not know this person she said she would take my number off the list. I have had this phone number for 8 years. so this is a scam!!

does the do not call rules apply to overseas?

got a call from this #, kept saying hello, hello, hello on answering machine & then hung up.  Called back & the girl that answered just said hello.  Told here i got a call & no message, they transfered me to someone else looking for Tara.  Told her this is the ___ residence & she asked if I knew Tara Greyhound.  Told her no & gave her my #, said she would remove it...let's wait to see if it really happens.  They constantly call 6-7 times a day

call their office 1-888-334-5677 and ask them to take you off their list. I did and they are calling for a carl this time. I get calls from  them for 3 different people. sleazeballs....

these sleazeballs called me 5 times yesterday. They've called for months asking for two different people. I've asked them to stop. Their website www.mrsassociates.com says they have a call center in bombay,india. I've filed 14 complaints with the www.donotcall.gov website. and intend to file another for each call they make to me.Hopefully someday it will cost them a boatload of money. But then again it's the damn goverrnment.......old man in calif.

Been getting calls from 1-800-932-4808 scam operators.
There MUST be a way to put a stop to these people, but HOW?

I've been getting calls from these guys, who seem to think I am both a) the opposite sex that I am, and b) about forty years older.  They leave messages saying I have to call back to avoid some kind of adverse decision.  Now they have started calling my dad, who lives in another state.  Now, I have been working with creditors trying to negotiate arrangements that will work for all of us, but they know my correct gender and age, and I still have correspondence with them, so there is no reason why the debt should have been sold.  My poor dad, bless him, thought these guys were calling from one of my creditor's offices and I think he inadvertently gave them just enough information for them to mislead him in conversation.

I think these guys are pulling our credit reports and getting information with which they can very credibly impersonate our real creditors.  I do not trust them.  I have frozen my credit so I can look and see if there's anything on it that shouldn't be there.  I recommend you do the same, and avoid giving these people leading information with which they can try to trick you.

Tried to tell my brother-in-law that I was listed as contact to get information - do not not how they got this since we have different last names.  These people are untrustworthy.  Do not give out information.

My sister lives in a different state. She and I are both married so our names are different. She called me to tell me that she got a message on her home phone of someone looking for me. When I called the number all I got was a voice recording saying to leave a message. Most companies identify themselves on thir voice recordings. This one didn't. I don't even know the name of the company. How they got her number is beyond me and they shouldn't be harrassing my sister!

I get calls every several days from this phone and numbers,  that are looking for someone that does not live here. I live alone, and when I returned the call, all is "privacy act",  they went on how much family I had, etc. I contacted my daughter at state highway patrol, and it is the worst scam in the world.  FCC will not touch them.  Telemarkets list do not call is not allowed.  My Son-in-law, Head of North Carolina State Patrol, This is a serious problem.  They are all Black out of New Jersey, that is all I know at this time.

I keep getting a phone call from these people looking for another person. ((I receently got this number))a woman gets really nasty with me telling me i know were you are an i will get this money. I really am thinking these guys want more than money im about to report them. good luck
