This number has called my business line a few times... they leave messages on Saturday night at 8:30pm "Please wait for an important message"... Uhm... if it was important, why are you calling a business on a Saturday NIGHT?!

This firm does not give a hoot about putting your number in their auto call computer and one day it is going to catch up with them. Not the working stiff but the "big guy" who sits on his butt and lets his hired help do the calling.

Meegan Peebles, an MRS collector is a stupid cow and doesn't understand English.

Despite repeated notifications to MRS Assocs that the person they are trying to reach is unknown to us, they keep calling. Each time they promise the calls will stop, but within 2 weeks they begin again. We've had our number for 6+ years; obviously the person who had it before was a deadbeat, but MRS should stop calling when told to do so.

Got a call from this david bolton 978 654 1100 on 3 separate occasions and then one from a sandy bolton at 978 452 4184,  Then I received 6 calls so far from this 932 number LOOKING for david bolton???

Don't do their dirty work for them.  If they can't CALL me instead of using an autodialer, they don't rate a return call.

This collection agency is calling my mother-in-law's house & asking for my brother.Mind you we all have different last names now & we don't even live in the same area/state. My brother wouldn't &  doesn't even know my mother-in-law's # or even know my parents-in-law's that well either. Can you believe this crap. What the hell is wrong w/ this picture for real. I believe that is a perfect case of third party harassment. What can we do w/ this situation. No one's # should be used against them especially if this is something that they can not control b/c it has nothing to do w/ them.

I have been recieving calls from this number for the past couple of months now. Up to today as soon as i stepped in the door the call came in.  It like they know when someone is home.  Thus, when i did decide to call the number back and said nothing as i tried to figure out where the call was coming from.  It didn't take long for the Basterds to call back.  Its like they have my number monitored and remind you my number is private.

Actually, after reviewing the FDCPA, perhaps MRS Associates is violating it after all.  The FDCPA requires the following conduct in contacting third parties to request location information:

§ 804. Acquisition of location information
Any debt collector communicating with any person other
than the consumer for the purpose of acquiring location information
about the consumer shall—
(1) identify himself, state that he is confirming or correcting
location information concerning the consumer, and,
only if expressly requested, identify his employer;
(2) not state that such consumer owes any debt;
(3) not communicate with any such person more than once
unless requested to do so by such person or unless
the debt collector reasonably believes that the earlier
response of such person is erroneous or incomplete and
that such person now has correct or complete location
information;
... (there's more, but this is the important part)

The next step is to complain to the Federal Trade Commission.  If they get enough complaints, they'll shut these puppies down.

We've had the same number for 5 years.  After 3 years, we kept getting calls for Jeffrey C Smithers (no idea who this is) about 3-5 times/week.  We've put their number on the do not call.  The people at the phone always refuse to let me speak to a supervisor or even tell me their company name, but assure me that no one will ever call again.  Just like clockwork, they call again at exactly 8:00 am most days of the week, including weekends.  Trying to figure out what kind of legal action we can take, if any.

These calls have been going on for months.I have told them I have never heard of the person they are calling for and have been promised that my number would be removed and it still has not.They have even hung up on me when I have tried to relay this information.I was told my number would be manually removed.......will see.

they call me to ask me whether i am XX for twice

These jerks have been calling my number for over a year looking for a name I don't know. I have called them back and explained that I've had this number nearly two years and I'm not this Jacob person. They hang up on me and just keep calling. They call at all hours, and are at this point pissing me off.

They keep calling my mother's house looking for me.  They won't tell her what it's about and when I called the number on the caller ID, it was busy.  They won't leave her alone, I feel bad.

They have been calling for my brother-in-law.  I have asked to be removed from thier calling list twice now since I do not know how to get in touch with him.  He's MIA.  If the 800-932-4950 number is busy call 800-894-4251 and you'll get an answer and be able to talk to someone.  Obviously it doesn't do a lot of good but at least you can talk to someone.

Get calls from the 800-932-4950 and leaving message for brothers ex girlfriend. When calling the # back to tell them she has never lived at my address and would gladly give forwarding information regarding the ex girlfriend, the recording says it is Verizon Wireless and the # is no longer in service.  Today it showed up three times on caller ID.  Just hope I am at home when they call again so I can talk to a real person

Keep getting calls on my cell phone from the above number all times of day and night.

I got a verizon phone and new number about a month ago and this number has called me at least twice a week since then.  I picked up and it was a recording looking for a name I'd never heard of.  It said if I wanted to be off their list to call them, which I did, and I got a busy tone.  Is there anything we can do?

Great... Now I'm on their call list. I've only had this phpne number for 2 weeks (I switched to verizon). There's another number that calls me eeeeveryday. You know... I never had these kind of phone calls when I had Cingular. Since it doesn't seem like there's a way to make it stop and it doesn't have to do with your phone copany, I guess I'll just have to ignore it.

The others above have said it well enough.  They claim that it is important that you contact them but that's as far as it goes; they give no additional information.

It is a computer calling asking for a name I can not understand. All I know is that it is not me and it is telling me that if it is the wrong number that I have to call them! It claims to be a debt collection. But the name is not any that I have recieved before. If I call then they will have my name and number from caller ID. I do not have my name on the voice mail. If you do not know who you are calling then I am not going to tell you. I know telemarketers sell that information. I used to buy it, but at least I called during normal hours, say who I was, and why I was calling. I do not call computers back at all.

Called for my father. I asked what it's in reference to, "Ann Lardo" said "he knows what it is in reference to. His file is in my office."

Samething. They have even began to call anyone in the large metro area I live, to find anything about me. I OWE ZIP to anyone outside of college (which I still am attending)!! yet they are threatening my relatives and dying grandfather. Someone even asked him to pay on my behalf - thank God he has enough sense not to.
I've heard from other students on campus, that they are getting this same call - maybe that's their angle. Call college students to scare them into giving money. We'll go find some other sap - 'cause it won't be me.

These people are a Nigeran front, they r a scam, do not pick up the phone!!! U dont owe money to anyone, dont get scamed by these jerks. "Jim WALKER" keeps calling me, thats prob. not even his real name!

I got the same call that Sherry did and I could hear laughing in the background.  Since I heard laughing in the background I will not call the number back nor respond to any that call again.

Has called several times and never leaves a message.  If it's so important that you contact me, and I don't know who you are, why don't you leave a message and then I might actually call back or answer the next time you call.

They call, leave a message "very important that you contact me. I needs render a decision that could directly affect you" blah blah blah.   You can actually hear 'laughing' in the background.

This is a collection agency . This company hunts you down like a piece of meat. Ths annoyance who keeps calling us at 800-932-4950 is Ronnie Ames and he gets a commission everytime he gets a penny from you. He actually had the balls to threaten us . HSBC company hands accts to these collection vultures to shake money from you. They don't want to work with you they would rather threaten you with court . tried many times to send them money but they wanted 33% and at this time was unable to put up such a large amount. wouldn't except any other amounts....foolish.

This number has been calling me for about 9 months regarding an important decision to be rendered concerning me.  There is no mention as to what this call is regarding.  This last time, the caller stated that he could not leave further details.  I must call him to find out what the call is concerning.  BS!
If you don't leave a legitimate message, I don't return the call.
