If collectors call a business line for an employee advise them that the employee cannot take calls at work and to remove your number from the list. Advise them that any future calls would be reported for violation of the FDCPA act.

Shonda Green called from what appears to be a spoofed number as it was local. I advised her she was calling a business line and I could not take calls. She continued to talk further getting me in trouble for taking personal calls. She asked for a home number and got mad when I told her I do not have one and was questioned like I was lying. How many people still have home phones? She wanted my cell number-I advised her I dont have one. I have a business line and those are the people who call me. I refused to give her my email address and she got mad again. She gave me an account number and this toll free number and her extension (3836) and asked when I would be calling her. I advised I couldnt tell her since I dont have a home phone and would have to get to a phone to call. She asked if I was going to take care of the matter. I advised her that I have had multiple calls from multiple people regarding a Chase account and that I needed to verify validity of the debt and who would legally own it before I speak to anyone. As far as I know Chase owns my account and has spoken to me over it so why would a collection agency think I would pay them too? If they call again I will be filing a complaint.

I work there, and you you sue them, they are a***oles and scammers, ask for the owner sal or rick tell them you will sue them good luck !

main reason why we dont leave messeges it because people dont all back and when you leave a messege that counts as a contact which means we have to wait a certain amount of days before we can contact them again so our chances of getting ahold of the debter is better if we dont leave a messege and try back later that day or the next.

800-932-5573 keeps calling here, they are getting to be a real pain, eveyday two or three times a day I won't give them the satisfaction of picking up the phone. I don't owe anybody anything and I don't know anybody that does. I don't even want to know my own reletives business, there should be a law on these type of Phone Calls.

800-732-5573 keeps calling me.  I called back and got a message they were Financila INst. from Chase MRS Associates.  They wanted to know my account number and name and phone number.  DUH they called me!  They should know my phone and name.  Anyway's the true identity of this number is SCAMS R US!

They call a Legal Office, Yes a Legal Office to harass.  Will not cease and desist either.  We are in the process of legal procedings against this POS company.

This number 8009325573 keeps calling my sons cell phone.  I swear they called 3 times in a row and I answered the 4th one.  I explained to them that the person who they are trying to reach is not us and we had our cell number for more than a year.  I hung up and they called back with in 45 minutes.  I ended up cussing these people out.  What don't they get.

This number has been calling me multiple times a day for weeks.
It has always been a computer telling me to hold for an important message.
This morning a human actually came on the line asking for my ex-wife.  I have been divorced from her for over 20 years since she decided to marry the mailman.  I have lived in in 4 different states and even changed jobs twice since that time.  I have told these people over a year ago that I do not know how to get in touch with her and don't want to and to please remove my number from their system.  The last time I told them that the guy called right back and cussed me out for being rude.

I called them back, provided my ph#. They asked if I knew ### who is my brother-in-law. I said, "YES. Good luck in finding him. He's no longer @ this #," and hung up.

They call my phone daily looking for someone I have never heard of.  Even after informing them twice that that person does not exist at my number they still call.  I was actually told today that if I continued to be rude they would never stop calling.  The message on my phone was to call Trish Porter however when I asked for that person upon calling back I was given David Alan who repeatedly asked me to identify myself.  They were told that the man (I am female) was not me, I was told this man lived in West Virginia, I am in Michigan.  Even if they really are looking for the right person maybe they could use common sense in looking.

Calling for an employee who works out in the field and never comes in the office, they ask me to take the message and give me 1-800-932-5573, but my caller ID shows they are calling from number 201-297-4646 and if you Google that number it shows that number and the 1-800-932-5573. Then they yell at me because the person doesn't call them back, and I tell them I won't take a message to call them at home and they say we don't have a home number, and I tell them they must really be kicking themself right now. I tell them it is a business and if you keep calling I will report you, well that last for about 10 seconds before someone else calls. Next time I will put them on hold and see how long they will hold or hang up and call back, I don't mind doing this all day.

I too have been getting call's from all the number's mentioned. They would never leave a message but would call up to 3 times @ day. I too owe no one money but it just take's a toll on you to run to the phone only to find out it's MRS calling. I have now done away with my land line. If MRS was as great as they advertised they are they wouldn't be calling the wrong people they would have all the info right.

I now have call blocking on my phone.  This week their number changed to 856-335-5527 (out of So. California)  I was very suspicious of this number as the caller I.D. read:  MRS somebody or the other.  I finally tracked this number down and it is indeed the same entity, MRS debt collector.  Now this number is blocked on my phone!!!  If any of you don't have this kind of phone,  I just bought a new Panasconic system which allows me to do this.  Best investment I ever made.  Now the phone will ring one time, then it will cut off & give the caller a fast busy signal.  Bottom line is, I don't have to go running for the phone anymore just to make sure who it is.  One ring, that's it!!!  And the funny thing is that I never received any calls from the new number, 856-335-5527 UNTIL I blocked the 800-932-5573 number.  I figure sooner or later they will run out of numbers to call!!!
AND I don't owe anyone, anything.

We wish that you guys would stop calling our phone number for a stupid Monty Jackson. We do not know him do not want know to him. We had this phone number for over 2 years, and if you keep calling our number for this so called person we are going to file a lawsuit against you. You need to investigate into other ways for finding this so called person and stop calling the Davis's residence for him and no we do not know how you can get a hold of him don't really care how you go about it just stop calling our phone number, which is 208-350-6525. thay will ask u what's ur name and ur address and ur fill name ....DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THEM .....when i called them back and ask them why the call me thay said give us ur info..... i asked them to remove my number from the system .... thay said we can't....ok can i talk to ur supervisore he said he is busy now ....we will give u a call.....totaly its polshit....

MRS Assoc asking to speak to my housemate from 1982!  I told them I had not seen or heard from the person since 1985 and they said they would remove my number.  30 minutes later got the same dad-blamed call from this number, different operator. Based other comments here, ex-housemate must be dead or a deadbeat.

Get real!  If there is a legitimate debt, they will leave a message.  They do not say that it is a debt collector and do not violate any rules, they just are looking for some one and they will give a name.  The message that they have left on my phone included a name and a request for us to call back to help them find this person.  I DO NOT respond, it is not my debt!  So, in response to the person above who tried to give a sarcastic reason why these people don't leave a message, I repeat:  They can do so without violating any laws!!!

This 800-932-5573 phone number is still at it, call me at least once a week, MRS is just a scam outfit and I won't give them the satisfaction of me picking up the phone. I answer no calls unless I know who the calling party is. I know what I owe and who I owe it to, collection agencies are not on my list. If I should by accident answer the phone, no info goes out, I know no one and can't give them any info they want, I wouldn't tell them anything even if that person was standing next to me.

hey einstein, you know why they dont tell you the call is regarding a debt?  thats cuz its illegal to do so. think about it, would you want a friend or family member knowing you have outstanding debts. collectors have to be very careful that they don't commit "third party disclosure", and often people are quite nosey and attempt to pry for information without identifying themselves. know something before you make a comment
