It's verizon, they keep trying to get us to change our wireless plan. It's confusing though because we don't go over minutes (even though the text messages make it seem like we are), but we pay by the text since we don't do it very often. Even on a busy month, the average is less than the minimum plan of $10/month, so they continue to hound us to change to a texting plan.
Very annoying.

This was from Verizon. I have alerts set up so it wasn't telemarketing--it was to alert me my minutes were approaching my plan and I was going to go over.

Same deal. Verizon calling to inform me about overages. Best idea is to put this number into your contacts list, and label it "Verizon Overages" and then you don't have to bother picking up the phone. You get the information you need without wasting valuable minutes, time, or stress.

Called, left no message. I did not answer. I registered my number on the Do Not Call Registry, but I guess it takes about 10 days for that to take effect.

I called the number, it's Verizon Wireless. The message I got was that there isn't a password on my account. I hung up and I'll call *611 from my handset later.

I received a call from this number as well. Listed as unknown... but upon calling, it turns out it is from Verizon Wireless. Right after I got this call, I got another one from Verizon (from a diff #, but displayed name) on my land line...so this tells me the first call was probably legit.
