called to verify the last 4 digit ssn and address.
i asked her why do i have to verify because i called bank of america customer
services informed that i dont have any purpose don;t have to verify
and she said i need to verify with number " 1-800-936-6362"

bad scam number

Just got from 1-866-206-7635 in regards to my Bank of America account. Her name was Vida ext 7400, she said she worked for Gatestone. She then gave me her contact at BOA number-1 800 936 6362. His name is Mark.  The wierd thing is- I dont have a f****ng Bank of America account. They both wanted to argue with me that BOA doesn't use thrid party people and that I have never had an account with them.

I never answer calls unless I know them.

. . . and that is why we don't call Bank numbers from email, phone calls, or text messages. We call them from the phone book, back of card, or statement. THEN we don't get page-after-page of postings on he-said, she-said, arguing about phone numbers.

This is an actual Bank of America number.  I called the number I have on my debit card, and the person I spoke to verified that it was B of A.  Don't believe me, of course: call the regular B of A number and ask them.

Fraudulent number 1-800-936-6362 portraying themselves as Bank of America. They have called numerous times. Unfortunately my Mom gave them her SSN but nothing else. We have filed a police report and contacted the credit reporting agencies.

I also received a call from 800-936-6362 stating they were calling from Bank of America.  When I dialed the number it was asked to input my account number or social security number.  I hung up and dialed Bank of America directly and they had no record of any problems with my account or anyone trying to contact me.  This phone number appears to be a scam - DO NOT give out your information!

I have had two within two days with caller id 000-000-0000 but the message says that it was "Cecilia" Bank of America to call  800-936-6362 ext24121. I followed links using the number and it lead to a Title company but i never saw the actual Bnk of America Logo... SCAM O' RAMMA- DING DONG

The person who left this message asked me for my banking account number or my social security number.  Thought that it was strange information to have immediately, when I called bank of america directly they stated there was nothing wrong with my account and that it was a phishing scam....
