new generation of criminals that spoof wireless numbers, caller id, use femtocells (mini wireless tower beacons), jammers ( to jam your own signal coming in), and impersonate other side of conversations.

never give passwords, pins, your real name, etc to any caller if you arent expecting their call.

these thugs triangulate - meaning if you see constant trio of cars tailing you from where you live, the purpose is 3 femtocell beacons and jammers to usurp any chance of comms with the outside world, and instead join up with their own spoofed network. Common ploy, is knocked of a call (theyre not ready?) by using some *600 computer error telling you a bogus balance and severing the phonecall, only to have to redial and then get a bunch of a**holes on the other end harassing playing dumb, or giving clearly wrong info. Othertimes, ridiculous shEt like dialing 411 and saying "hold on while I look that up" but you HAVENT YET SAID what number you want! (derrr)...lastly net pages with hispanic grammar errors like "enter YOU phone number".

Just posting this as if you think cybercriminals are all nerdy geeks with pencil holders in their shirt pockets, think again. Theyre ghetto gangers now.

(I am a witness to a tall towers NY crime and this is going on now over a decade...sounds almost blackwaterish, but I know them to be goon thugs personally grown up with).

Have a nice day - T Mobile is indeed a spoof they use, but the sky's the limit on faking caller ID

Sounds like sometimes it is legit and other times it is spoofed.  No one in my house has T-Mobile, wants T-Mobile or has had anything to do with T-Mobile that would cause them to need to be calling my #. I've trained everyone in my home not to answer the phone if they don't know the number. We get soooo many calls from unknown numbers that never leave messages. Getting angry only hurts you. Yes, it sucks, but ignore it or file a complaint. It's not worth ruining your day over.

Left a voicemail saying something about transferring my number to t-mobile. Talked very fast and rambling. Did not seem legit at all since they never used my name or any name. Seems to be a scam call, but possibly using a spoof of a t-mobile number to make the call?

If this T mobile why can't they use the numbers that are advertised through customer service. Or at least use the 800 number I use. Hell it's T mobile. I should be treated better.

T-Mobile's fraud department... called me up for someone who wanted to use their SIM card in their phone.   They wanted to verify I wasn't requesting it.  And I wasn't... someone was trying to scam my number.

I agree you are all a bunch of whiny b!tch3s.
One this is a valid TMO flexpay CS number used for other purposes also.
If it is TMO calling you call them and explain and they will stop.
Two if it is a SPOOF, nothing you can do except complain to the FCC about it.
Crying on here or reporting SPOOFS is a waste of time.
"TMO is calling me I want it to stop" SO TELL THEM!!!!

This is a scam pretending to be t mobile. I fell for it and it caused me a lot of problems! They hacked my account and charged a bunch of international call. Someone tried it again this morning. Thats the reason I googled this number. Its total BS.

Received a call at 9:50am from this number. No voicemail was left and I did not pick up. They could be spoofing a real T-Mobile line.

Yes...it is T-Mobile Customer Care, but the many minutes of this call were deducted from the balance of my PrePaid wireless phone account, even though T-Mobile invited me to accept a call back from them rather than  continuing my problem discussion via their free 611 service number.  Worse, I was paying them per minute to confirm that I've also been paying for all voicemail messages from jerks-spammers-strangers whether I listen to those voicemails or not AND paying for all text messages from jerks-spammers-strangers whether I read those text messages or not.  Finally, T-Mobile is UNWILLING to provide an accounting of calls & messages for their PrePaid customers as it relentlessly and silently sucks minutes out of your balance and moves you closer and closer to zero balance for a next purchase of minutes.

Don't feel flattered that T-Mobile Customer Call wants to call you, if you are a PrePaid customer.  You are paying by the minute to get your hand kissed.

I got a call from this number. No message left. Not T-Mobile. Keep in mind folks, anyone with a voice over internet account can fake caller ID. Just because that number pops up does not mean that it is the actual number they are calling from.

I just received 2 calls one after the other at 9:30pm.  No message was left.  No name for the phone number.  If this is T-Mobile like others are saying I don't know why they would be calling me.  I do not have that cell phone provider now and never have.  It's bad enough they call but after 9pm is ridiculous.  I am also on the DO NOT CALL list.

Care to clarify in more coherent English?  People who post negative comments aren't using this sight (sic) right?  Huh? So we should only post positive comments here?  How little sense does that make?

Why are you guys all being rude this is a number that is for something most people don't want. and For everyone calling names and Check your spelling. or tell people to stop calling names. Let's see I feel that everyone that has put on a negative response isn't using this sight right.

This number is from T-Mobile asking if you have ever been to Springfield, Ohio. Apparently someone back in 1997 made a call from Springfield to Dayton incurring a call cost of $0.12 plus tax and gov't fees of $45.32 and has not paid. It is callers like this that drive the cost of cell phone service up for all of us and cause the gov't to go bankrupt.

They keep calling our office (I'm the receptionist), and we don't answer 800 or toll free phone calls. When I don't pick up, they call back- three or four times in a row. I'm not sure, but it seems to me if they are a debt collector, that's outside of normal practices.
