These folks call all hours of the day or night, seven days a week. Understand it is Bank of America; no one at the address (three adults) has any business with them. Can they be stopped from calling???

I received many calls from 800-347-2956 and 800-943-3022. I called the number 1.888.341.5000 listed on Bank of America website for privacy policy. The person I spoke with was very polite and assured me I would be removed fom the list. If anyone should call I should inform them I was on the do not call list and request that I not be called again. I don't know what will happen. I wondered how I got on the Bank of America list and it is because MBNA for AAA merged with them. I hope this works.

For everyone complaining that there is no-one on the line you have to understand how this works. The telemarketers computer dials up as many as a dozen numbers at the same time. Whoever answers first gets talked to every one else gets silence. This is indeed a BofA partner calling to try to sell you any number of additional services on your credit card. They are not actually BofA but one of their partners. You can get this call even if you don't have a credit card with BofA because they own probably a dozen other lenders and thus you are doing business withBofA. It is not a phishing scheme but you are well served to treat it as such. The no call registry will do you no good if you do business with any company owned by bofa.

If this is truly Bank of America, they deserve to be in financial difficulty! They call EVERY day and if you do catch them before they roll over to the next number, they're trying to sell you payment protection. Otherwise, it's just a dial tone. Have told them every day this week (including Saturday) that I do not have an account with them and I'm not interested in their attempt to get business now that they're in trouble. They should have thought of customer service before!!  And, if it's not BOA, they still shouldn't be calling without waiting for someone to answer or at least have the courtesy to leave some type of message.

I get Pfishing e-mails all the time from so-called banks informing me that my account has been blocked and I need to click on the link to change my pin#.

The banks all say that they don't send e-mail or call unsolicited.

Never gives these clowns any info. Call the instatution and report it right away!!!

i use to get 3-4 calls per-week then i called back on this 800-943-3022 a lady said that its a dept protection we are on behalf with BANK OF AMERICA. i said i dont want to get any more calls coz i work for bank of America. so she said it will take 3 weeks to take ur name out of list. and next day i again got call from them. they SUCK...

Keep getting calls from this number on my cell.

I just cancelled my Bank of America credit card.  When speaking with the representative I was told that unless you tell them (Bank of America) to mark your account "No telemarketing" they will provide your info to any of their partnering companies.  I would suggest cancelling any business with them or at the very least call them and change your account to "No telemarketing"

same deal; they just don't let up and have no right to ask the questions they do.

I am on the Do-Not-Call List.I don't want to be annoyed by soliciters.

I called back twice (last week and the week before) and talked to "supervisors".
They promised my name would be removed from their list.
Didn't help.
I heard this was a phishing scam outfit.
Contact local attorney general and give them details.

I'm sick of the number calling and when there's nobody there you can't tell them to put you on the "do not call list".  It Sucks!!!

We've been receiving phone calls from this number for the past week.  Since we have caller I.D. we don't answer.  The call around noon and again after 6 pm.  The Government should look into this matter and find out who is making this "spam" call, and take action against them.

When you use your real phone number and/or do business with a company that can look it up, they have the right to call you. In case anyone hasn't figure it out, the Do Not Call List is a colossal waste of money. It is totally useless.

I pick up the phone, but don't answer. If they wanted to talk, they sure don't say anything. I stay on the line until they hangup.  I figure it's their dime(or dollar).

i don't know who called but maybe it's bank of America and  they call lots of times and it gets us annoyed and i hate them calling so please just stop calling.

I've been getting calls from 1-800-943-3022 and when I call the number I get a promotional recording selling the company services.  After calling a number of offices I have found a number and name of a person to call who was rude as hell.  His name is Dan Powers he is with Bank Of American and his phone number is 704-386-5687.  I got his name and number from the Attorney General's office of my state.  I was told I had to call Bank Of America and ask them to stop calling me.  If after 30 days the calls continue the Attorney General's office gets involved. This is day one.

I have repeatedly received calls from this number-  I have email Bank of America and ask them to please not to call me with any kind of promotions.  My number is registered on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  These types of calls qualifys as a Telemarker Sales Call.    Please STOP CALLING ME.

They never respond when I pick up...I called them back, and I was put on hold. Then some woman answered, "Mainstream Electric". I think this number is more than just a Bank of America Number. I think that a group of buisnesses are somehow masking their true phone numbers and it all appears as the same #, whoever they call. That way only 1 person can take the blame, and I bet it is not even based in the US.

wanted to speak to my husband and I said I was an authorized user.  I said is there a problem and she said no problem.

Someone from this number calls at least 4 times a day.  I don't answer it because I know it's a sales call.  I'm sure my husband asked them to stop calling months ago, but they continue to call.  Is there any way to stop these people?

I get so many "Toll Free Numbers" in day it's rediculous.  If this is in fact Bank of America then they aren't paying attention to my Privacy Requests.  It's obvious that the Do Not Call List is a huge joke because I get just as many junk calls as I ever did.  The only difference is that they now show up as Unknown or Toll Free rather than the actual name of the company calling.

I get called by this number at least every other day. It is rediculous. I am going to try out what "Take Action" said above...to file a complaint with the do not call registry. I am going to try that with the other junk calls I get from other #'s.

I just answer the phone and say the f word a bunch and then hang up.  Or I tell them I am too drunk or have to poop.  C'mon, ya'll.  Have a sense of humor with these people.

Why don't they leave a message? I never answer my cell phone. Leave a message, I'll call you back from a free line. Geez.
