It is an Israeli company with billions of dollars being scammed since 2007; it is spread among some countries like US, Israel, Qatar, South Africa and some other countries.
You should speak allowed through the internet and the federal or state department, FBI online fraud registry

Why don't you report your case to the online FBI crimes ?!!

Liveperson is a real example of scamming machine on both (Customers and Experts), there payment system is manually controlled and they can do whatever they like, they from time to time hide some experts earnings claiming that the customer did not pay, lots of customers complained for being double charged as well for the same case and some times three or more. So you have to be careful about your credit card transaction along with this fraud site
As a rule of thumb for "Experts" working at this fraud site; as more transactions and more income you have, as more deductions will be made against your earnings they categorize it as "pending earnings". the more frustrating thing is that they block any contacts later on to your customer to understand what is going on behind the scenes

LivePerson is actually not a scam and they do not charge you unless you authorize the charges, perhaps you simply do not understand how the site works.
You get 3 free minutes to evaluate the expert you are about to hire, only then are you charged.
The 10 minute amount on your card that you are referring to is a pre-authorization not a charge - if you actually look on the site, it says that they pre-authorize your card before each session.
Dont be so quick to classify something as a scam simply because you dont have the ability to understand...
| LIVEPERSON - SCAM 2012-03-27 12:36:20 Unknown |
if you call them (LIVEPERSON) they will charge you immediately for 10 min, does not mater that you will contact them only in that free minutes.
This site is SCAM, do not contact them !!!
Ba aware !!!!

I am a security - fraud analyst at LivePerson! Unfortunately fraud over the internet is a big issue therefore we have a toll free number 1800-956-7595 where you can call and I can help investigate what is going on with your Liveperson account or see if it is indeed a fraudulent charge! You may also leave a message and one of my colleagues or I will get back to you within 24 hours.
