No name and no message

CAUTION!  This is likely a phishing scam.  I got 3 voicemails from this number on my home office voicemail claiming to be BofA.  When I called back, they would not even tell me what the call was regarding until I "verified my address" with them.  I refused to tell them until they told me the nature of the call, and they said they could give no information until I gave them my address.  I hung up.  I then called BofA fraud, and they have no record of this number belonging to BofA.  The fraud guy told me it is probably a phishing scam trying to get personal information for identity theft or to run a scam.

I called Bank of America directly and asked them if this was one of their telephone numbers. They said it was not and NOT TO CALL IT BACK and definitely DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY ACCOUNT INFORMATION.

I also rescieved a calls from this number, but they never leave a msg, if it was legit you would think they would have no problem leaving a msg

I have never heard of any 'bank' calling you on a Sunday....I get calls any day or hour! I will screen them until they are blue in the face. I will never answer.

I received two calls from this number and they were insisting on verifying my mailing address.  They said they were trying to collect on a 2007 Oddyssey.  I have never had a loan with Bank of America.  The interesting thing is that the number coms up on caller id and when calling the number back it had a voicemail message for Bank of America.

Do not give them any information.They are trying to pull a scam...warning beware

I've been getting constant calls from this number. I don't answer. Last night they called at Midnight then again at 4AM!! I would like this to stop. They don't leave a message anytime they call. They also call at 8Am and Noon. They even call my cell!!

I appreciate all of the comments above. I have been receiving 3-4 calls a day from this number for about a week, including the weekends - I now know my inclination not to answer was correct!

LOOKED UP ON WHITE PAGES.COM AND IT COMES BACK TO THIS INFO....  SO OBVIOUSLY NOT BofA.

and if you look up her name on google it came back as she fought the Texas Medical association....  kinda wierd.....   and there is no Lenes World of Products either....

Getting numerous calls staying is Bank of America asking for address.

Does anyone know who this is?

By the Way, they handle Car loans.

Actually this is a BoA collection agency. My girlfriend's room mate works for them. Just remember BoA is a bunch of idiots who don't know their a** from a hole in the ground. That is why they don't reconize their own number.

I received a call at 2:22pm eastern time from (800)959-3117.  They left an intimidating voicemail without indentifying themselves, mentioning that I owed money and that they would come get it.  It was very juvenile, and I could hear someone laughing in the background about how elephants never forget, or something to that effect.

Keep getting calls from this number. (I just ignore them) if its bank of america, I dont know why they  are calling me, I have NO business with them and never have.

I have a savings and checking account with BofA and no other accounts, no credit cards loans etc.  This number called my work phone # which I have only had for 4 months and have never used outside of business purposes. I will be stopping at my BofA branch later to see what this is about.

she's probably past due, they start contact @ 3 days past the due date

We don't have a B of A account, but our daughter does. She did not give them our home phone number, though. We let the answering machine pick up calls that we don't know on caller id, so we have never spoken to anyone from B of A.But the calls are every day, sometimes 2-3 times/day.

This is someone wanting to build and sell a database of phone numbers and sddresses - private co, Gov't etc

this is NOT LEGIT.  We do NOT bank with Bank of America and we pay all our bills and on time.

They now leave voicemails and they don't even know who they are looking for.

It's total and complete phishing.

This is legit. I called Bank of America's vehicle loan department at 800-215-6195 which I got from Bank of America's website. The person I talked to at the vehicle loan department even transferred me to that number.

This is a collection agency B of A uses.
I got call from them when I missed a car payment.

It is not BofA, I just spoke to my bank and they have no records of that number.. I have about 4 accounts with them and they are all current. Do not fall for it and give them your info.. Max

I rec'd a call from these people. I spoke with a nice guy and found my payment had been lost in the mail and went to my local branch and made a payment and the manager called the 800 number and was able to verify by an employee number the person I was speaking with. I am glad they called me to bring this matter to my attention. For those who dont want calls from collections departments- pay your bills on time!

I have recevied 14 call this month from 800-959-3117 on my cell.
I have NOT answered any, but it is extremely annoying.
They do not leave a voice-mail.

Received a call from this number twice today, but didn't answer. No one left a message. All i know is I paid my car loan yesterday which is through b of a.

My mom keeps getting calls from this number for me.  I haven't lived there in 7 years!!  I never have used their home # on anything I've done (car loans, credit cards, etc.)  The guy keeps asking for me or my husband, my mom never gave him our# so I called him.  He was very unprofessional, said it was about our bank acct. w/BOA. We don't even have a bank acct with them!  We only have a car note and it's paid up to date.  Called actual BOA and they said it's NOT legit, do NOT give out info to these people!
