I keep receiving calls from this number but they never leave a message. I am on the National Do Not Call List and checked to see if it was still active, and it was. I have not been hospitalized since the birth of my child over 20 years ago. I have had no unpaid medical treatment and have not had the need for medical attention in over 7 years.

I received a message saying that I need to contact concerning a personal matter and a file # was given.  No company name and was told it was not solicitation.  I am not in any legal obligation concerning monies owed, no any criminal background... and no information concerning a debt was disclosed in the message....  How do I stop this annoying phone call on my cell phone..... taking up minutes!!!!!

I reported them and am filing a law suit against them.we owe no hospital debt.there are many lawyers online that will sue this company and you get 1500.00 for suing them from the comfort of your home.

If you ask the hospital they will tell you they ARE AFFILIATED with APOLLO HEALTH STREET. Thats all you need to do is ask the hospital so you can feel dumb and realize that they are NOT A SCAM. They get the information on their system FROM THE HOSPITAL so if it was never updated then thats what they would have.

You are just so uneducated it makes me laugh. Call the company or better yet ask the HOSPITAL yourself directly if they are affiliated with the company when they say yes let me know how dumb you feel.

It's not a scam ! If you are so sure its a scam you would ask the hospital yourself and they WILL direct you to their third party which is Apollo Health Street! If you ask they will tell you yes. So learn the facts before anything buddy because you sound extremely dumb.

Um Apollo Health Street is an actual company. NO ONE ever said it was a collection agency, because its not! Apollo Health Street actually works on behalf of the hospital to help patients out and help get the bill paid even if its to help the patient apply for financial assistance. They even have a Charity Care department and even see patients at their home to help them apply if they are unable to go themselves. A lot of hospitals have third partys to help them with the medical bills. Google that!

There are laws that law being HIPAA law where you can not disclose a patient personal information. You seem to be a smart alec but what if it wasn't you who answered the phone when they called and they went ahead and provided all of your personal information to someone else? They won't take you to court for not paying your medical bill! You will go to collections and regret it later ! enjoy.

Just so you know W/C does not always pay on time. In fact many patients always have issues as far as their jobs insurance not doing their part and paying and they end up in collections when W/C SHOULD HAVE PAID. So its best to call back the number on the bill which actually is the 1800 number you are so worried about. They are an extension to the hospital trying to help get the bill paid or provide financial assistance to the patient.

We are NOT a collection agency either. Matter of fact if you ever receive a statement from the hospital our number is on the bill.

We are not a collection agency we get accounts from the actual hospital to help them out with there accounts seeing as there are so many people who attend the hospital. We are basically an extension to them. So we call to either provide assistance to the patient financially or to obtain insurance information. I don't know this phone number and I want them to stop calling me with all the mystery pertaining to who they are.

Received a call from this number and let my voicemail pick it up.  I followed the instructions and called them back.  This was for medical billing purposes and it was a 100% legit call.  They were calling on behalf of the billing department where we had to take my son to the ER a couple months back. They had 1 digit off on my medical insurance policy number so it couldn't be processed properly.

they do represent a hospital billing agency,  I just told them to send me a bill I wil cal the hospital to make sure.

They asked for Kevin Carter with a personal message from UMDMJ ambulance.  This is the 2nd call for Kevin ....but strange they give different file #'s and phone #'s to call back.  Probably a scam.  How do they get our #'s when we are on the do not call list?

This is Virtua Health Systems (Hospital) calling for a past due bill.  If you went to the hospital and have an outstanding bill, this is why they are calling you.

ROBO-CALL -- We received a call from this number on 1/18/2012; the message started with "Hello, we have an important message" at which point we hung up and reported it to the National Do Not Call Registry.

Virtua Hospital Billing Dept. You have an outstanding bill of $0.08 please call is back to arrange payment. 8 Cents and I'm getting calls 6 times a day for 8 Cents!!!!!!

Its a type of a collection agency for Medical (hospital) bills you haven't paid.  You may not have been to the hospital in a while but its probably an old account you didn't pay... pay your bill they won't call anymore

They handle accounts receivable follow up for hospitals... including Virtua.  They are not a collection agency... but they handle A/R overflow for medical facilities.
