please stop calling me ,

I got calls of them early in the morning ,when I have a sick person in the house !

Just got a call from them this morning. First they tell me they are from Allied Interstate and that the call is being recorded but then refuse to disclose why they are calling me until I verify a bunch of personal information (name, address,dob,ssn) which I did not verify but they already had it!!! This was very scary for me as there is no reason why a debt collector should be calling me. I don't know who these people are but they are not legit. They can't be.

IF YOU HAVE A SMART PHONE.   hold the number that just called you and another screen with come up with choices.  Select add to REJECT LIST. This will block the caller from calling you.

Time to contact your bank and have them change your account number.  report that you have been frauded and they will do it immediately.

calls are comming 4 to 5 times aday and all they say is for that purpose.

I keep getting calls from this number and as soon as I answer they hang up on me.  I was finally able to get someone to answer today when I called them back.  She said it would take up to 72 hours to remove me from their list.  They asked to speak to someone that doesn't even live here.  I believe it's harassment when you continue to call someone and hang up on them.  She did not even acknowledge the name of the company when she answered the phone.  She said my call would be recorded and I have no idea what they want.  I don't know the person they asked for so why are they calling me in the first place.  I get phone calls from these people all the time several times a day, and on the weekends they start calling before the sun comes up.  Get a life people!

When they say the call is being recorded I tell them to please call back immediately so that I may also record our conversation.  Never, not once, has an agency called right back.  I refuse to speak to any agency or provide any info - noT even my name - unless they respect MY right to record THEM.

I keep getting calls from this number but no one is there & thy never leave a message.  If you call back it is a non working number.  Very harassing because we are disabled seniors.

These people also like to trick people into answering by using a LOCAL #!  I picked up once and that's all it took!

From what I found on Google their name is NCC (formerly Northeast Credit & Collections), a Division of Commonwealth Financial Systems. Commonwealth bought NCC out on Oct 1, 2001.

I DO NOT answer #s I don't know. I Google them & block them if they're a collection company.

HOW TO BLOCK COLLECTORS:  Go to Google and look for "Call Blocker X-Adv 4.X". It's an app I downloaded on my Cell. It's easy to use and when a blocked # calls you see who's calling but the blocker hangs up on it after 1 ring.

I get calls from this number everyday about the same time.  It shows up on missed calls because I do not answer it.  What is strange that at the exact same time, this call is registered as a Incoming Call at
909-259-0277.
How do we block these numbers from our cell phones?  We never give our number out.

CAREFUL calling these scumbags back: I called them by mistake (thought it was my HMO) and they went & gave my number to all those 643/324/etc area code India/Carribean telemarketing scam artists. Total absolute pricks they are. Thank God for this website & all you great people sharing your horror stories.

Called me today. I just changed my number 3 days ago. I was sleeping when they called. So I called back and a lady answered saying "allied interstate" said she was after my father. Told her I had no contact with him. She said it could take up to 48 hours for my number to be taken off the list. I was nice and so was she.

they also use 888-297-4208. They will harass you to the ends of the earth. and even if you tell them that you are not the person they are looking for, the keep calling anyway. It's REDICULOUS!!!

If they are in West Palm Florida they really need to take a good look at Florida Law.. Attorneys are having a field day sueing collection agencies....

Calls my house leaves no message. No one speaks if I should pick up.

This number calls my cell phone on a regular basis. They hang up most of the time but when somebody finally does speak, they try to get personal information from you to "verify" their records, however they won't identify themselves???

This number called my husband's cell.  When we answered no one said a word, then it started ringing then stopped.  I called back and music started up and no one came to the phone

I get the same calls, in fact I had one this morning and they would not even say a word.  I have talked with them in the past and the call is for someone with the same name as mine, but the SS number and Birth dates are not ever close. This has to stop!!!

Its Time Warner Cable.....they leave messages when I'm late making a payment!

these people call all the time!! and one day i finally called them back to see  what they wanted and they couldnt even find me in the system...he tried it several times and said sorry i dont know why we called because i cant find it in the computer...i am so tired of these 1800 numbers calling me on my minute phone because it wastes my minutes!!
