The woman told me her name was Kim Spott of Spott Industries and was trying to sell office supplies.

The woman said her name was Dale Peters from Peters Industries. She was selling office supplies.  Extremely pushy and when I asked for information in writing via email or fax she wouldn't give me anything.  She insisted on listing the items over the phone.

The women said her name was Jae Carter from Carter Industries said they were going out of business.  She selling off office supplies at discount rate, however could not fax any information on items in question.

Woman said her name was Leigh Mason of Mason Industries that is located in Augusta, GA. Her office supply company was going out of business. I finally got the phone number from her (she wanted to call me back) and every time I call, it's busy. Not a real number. She won't call back. She throws her sales pitch & gives great prices to draw you in & get you to purchase right away so there is no return call & she has your credit card information. I'm no fool!

Man said his name was Sean Stone of Stone Supply located at 11476 Corporate Park Dr, Akron OH 45069. Said he was selling off office supplies at discount rate since he was moving his business to Missouri.  Stated he got our company's infor from an atty named Dan Morgan.

Woman phoned stating that her name was CJ Turner of Turner Industries selling overstocked office supplies at a discount rate.  I was unable to find any  information about this business or anything remotely related to this business.  This is most likely a scam

I received the same call from some Dale Peters saying that her Office Supplies firm was moving or something and that she has supplies she was giving away dirt cheap. She had all our company info as well as info (supposedly refernce)from senior members in our org. And she sure was super duper pushy. She just kept talikng and i was like...aaaaaahhhhh... what kind of scam is this? I havent even given her any inforation and yet she seems to have already decided to send some office supplies to my company.

Said he was Alex Miller, owned Miller supplies out of pueblo Colorado.
Stated his business was closing and sell his suplies at cost. Gave me phone number 800-967-6776. I called back it was a fast busy signal. Googled Miller supplies does not exist. Beware!

I have gotten the same call every week. There are only 2 women in the office and we answer the phone and they try each name everyother time. We have repeatedly told them we do not buy office supplies. Today the woman called started her script where she said Sandy told her to call me and order office supplies. I told her she was a liar, since i know sandy would never have said ask me even for a legit company. She told me she wasnt a liar since how else would she know my name. I told her she was casue i took the call as well. She informed me she would send someone here to thrash me for calling her a liar.

I cant wait till she calls back.

The women told me her name was Bobbi Harris and her company Harris Industries was going out of business.

Tara Mesa, I know better. From Mesa Company? Really? You couldn't do any better? Honey, I'm not stupid. Don't ever call here again.

Stated to be Daniles industies  offering to sell bulk post its and supplies

Kari Randall called today from MN.  Moving their business and after it was all boxed up, decided it was to expensive to move these office supplies.  Mentioned she had talked to the CFO and he transferred to me.  Must be quite a lot of post it notes, pens, tape and binder clips.  Asked her for a phone I could call back.  1-800-967-6776 number not in service. Buyer BEWARE.

I had the same issue and called the 573 number. Within an hour some lady called me back and I told her that I was lied to and did not order the stuff and demanded she send me airbills to send all the product back. She did and I was able to send everything back. If they dont return your call you should leave a message telling them that you would like to order more stuff and they would probably call you back...

I got a call from Barry Allen from Allen Supply to confirm a order for pens, sticky notes, tape, and pens. He had contact names so I thought it was legitimate. I confirmed and when I took the information to my boss, he said that no orders were placed with this company. I was scammed!!!! now I need to watch the company mail and refuse the delivery. What a mess.

Rec'd call from Donnie Brand of Brand Office Supply, he said that he is relocating his business to Missouri, selling gross lots of pens, post-its, tape. Gave call back number of 800-967-6776 at warehouse. He sadi he may not be around but anyone in the warehouse can help me. My SCAM alert went off before we hung up the phone!

Caller spoke with my CFO and said he was referred to me.  Company closing and relocating to Missouri (where in-laws are from).  Claimed his father had him call us.  Must sell post-it's, pens, tape etc. very cheap.  Sounded like a scam so I Googled the phone number.

Becky called from Sterling Industries, claiming she was referred by my Controller to call and ask for the Office Administrator about supplies.  I started writing down the "close-out" offerings, and then the info got to be so lengthy, that I asked her to send me a fax or an email.  The response I got was that, because their warehouse is closing, they no longer have a fax or a computer.  She finally hung up on me, when I mentioned that, before ordering from a new vendor, I would need to have something in writing showing the "cost savings."

Same thing happened with our company... Kim Scott from Scott Industries sent 5 huge boxes of office supplies. SVT, Inc sends the office supplies, office supplies that we did not order. Of course, the 1-800 does not work and the number 573-446-9111 that is on the invoice goes straight to a  answering machine. Because our receptionist signed for the boxes we can not return to sender, unless we pay for shipping.
Any advice on how to contact this person or company would be greatly appreciated.

Rec'd call from Danny Hughes of Hughes Office Supply - relocating business to Missouri, selling gross lots of pens, post-its, tape. Gave call back number of 800-967-6776 at warehouse. Gave me name of an individual in company who referred him to me. SCAM!

I got a call from Jerrie Jones form Jones Industries.  She said she spoke to my CFO and that she had post-it's and she was moving and could not take all the supplies with her. Lame. I am calling her back.

We just received the same phone call about going out of business. Sure it's a scam, said they know our CFO. Don't fall for it.

I received call from "CJ Turner" of "Turner Industries" today with the same song and dance, but she gave me a different callback number (800-342-5996).  Said they were relocating to Missouri. I asked where her current office is and she told me Oildale, CA. That's local for us, so shouldn't have to have an 800 number.

"CJ Turner" called our office and managed to get a hold of our Controller who referred her to his admin person.  Gave out the 967-6776 # but kept insisting on calling US back.  Googled the number and found this info, all very pushy and very suspicious.  Don't fall for it!  Always check with the BBB before you do business with someone!

Sam Olsen called from Glen Falls (??) NY trying to sell Post-It's, tape and pens as part of a going-out-of-business sale.  $1.49 for 4X6 Post-Its 12 pads/pack, $1.19 for 3X5 Post-Its 12pk, $2.49 for 3/4 magic tape 12 rolls; all were sold in gross qtys.  Mentioned controller's name and that they had spoken previously.  Call back number she gave was (800)967-6776.

"Randy Rogers" said she had gotten my name and number from our financial controller who referred her to me.  Since I had received this kind of call in the past I was ready with several questions.  She was able to answer all of my questions, including the date she talked to our controller and why I couldn't find her website, without hesitation.  As mentioned in previous comments she started out trying to push post-it notes.  Buyers be aware!

She said her name was Barry Allen.  Very pushy. Said she and her husband were moving out of the city and needed to sell their office supplies b/c it was too expensive to ship (post-its, tape, pens, etc.). Yes, they sell in large quantities, and only in large quantities b/c "they already packed the boxes to move." Sounds fishy to me.  Anyone who would lie from the get-go, I would not trust to do business with.  I don't care how cheap their prices are. When I asked for a call-back number, she gave me 800-967-6776, although her called ID shows as Unknown Number.

She said her name was Randy Rogers from Rogers Industries Logansport, IN.  I've gotten several calls from these people - different names, same street address.  They always call our CFO and he transfers the call to me. I told her I was too busy and asked for a call back number.  (800-967-6776) If you can keep them on the phone long enough to google their number it's fun to refer to them as one of their "other" busines names.  They don't know what to say after they are busted. :0) If we can't have them arrested, we may as well have a little fun annoying them.

Rcvd call from Kim Scott claiming to be with Scott Office Supplies.  Said his wife spoke to our CFO who gave him my name, which I knew right away I wasn't true.  I asked for a call back # because I would need to confirm this first with the CFO before I spoke to him.  Gave me the 800-967-6776 #.  Being a receptionist for over 20 years I pretty much know all of the bogus calls, just like when a company calls claiming to be your copier warehouse and asks for the copier model #.  Must be sad not to have any other talents but to make annoying phone calls.

Jamie Read called me today - same story - going out of business - big savings, right...Why can't these people use all this time and energy and just go out and get a real job and make an "honest" living..?!
I don't know how they sleep at night.
