Received a memo in the mail. This document had the Department of Veterans Affairs logo and my mortgage lender and a customer number(?). Stated offer to reduce my interest rate.

And what did you find out?  I just received a notice in the mail and was wondering if it was legit.

We got same message. The address being in Santa Barbara California raises some concern in addition to the fact the rate is .625% better than the same quotes from major banks. We are calling with caution because it sounds too good to be true.

I got the same message, I think I will ask for a good faith estimate. Then let some friends at the bank take a look.

Concerned this may not be a legitamate business. No record with BBB. Does anyone have info on this or dealed already with rewfinancing thier home with them?
