Whoever is thinking of attending this POS seminar please don't waste your time. Honestly the deal if you even get it, isn't worth it. I went with my finacee and sat through a 2 hour seminar. And let me tell you all how the night went... We show up, to an office in which I swear the manager thought he must have been running a night club or something because the music was so loud you could'nt hear each other talking and by the end of the night I left with a migraine.  We were then greeted by a young girl who took us back to a room with about 10 other tables three people to a table. The first 30 minutes was bs small talk and in that 30 minutes we were interupted by three different employees asking random personal questions. Personally if I am in the middle of speaking with someone, don't interupt me. The fact that it happened three times was beyond annoying.  Then they take everyone into a conference room for "the presentation" which was less than interesting.  After the presentation we were taken back to our original tables where we were shown the "packages" you could choose from. As they sat convincing us of these amazing deals, we started asking questions. Every questions we asked they dodge, never ever answering them. Finally the, what I'm guessing was the manager walked over and interupted the girl and told her to get up and get him some water... WTF  How rude. If he can't treat his employees with respect how does he or anyone remotely interested in purchasing this overpriced timeshare scam think they will be treated? These people and this company have NO CUSTOMER/DECENCY/CONSIDERATION,ETC SERVICE SKILLS what-so-ever. So after explaining to us how great this deal works and how crazy we would be if we didn't purchase this we asked for sometime to discuss it.  The guy actually got up from the table walked around the room and within 3 minutes was back at our table nonchelantely listening to our conversation and then had the nerve to tell us to pretend like he wasn't there. As my migraine started to get worse I basically stopped listening to the guy. After about 5 minutes I told my finacee I need to go home because I feel sick, the manager then told us we could use his office to discuss this since it would be quieter. He then proceeded to sell us on this package, which at this point we were done. We didn't want to hear anymore. My fiancee was nice enough to politely say no, after another 30 minutes of listening to him drop the price and cut the deal in half we still declined, I mean come on we are buying a house and have a wedding to plan and pay for, we don't have an extra $20,000-$50,000 in our account to spend on vacation timeshares. This man didn't not care. He continued to push it and pushed he did. We were promised this presentation would be a non commit, non pushy presentation. So after we said no about 30 times (I'm not kidding either) he basically had this fine then leave attitude. He comes in with our "vacation certificate", we signed our names and then left. About half way home, I realized they gave us the wrong vacation package. Surprise surprise. It has been three and a half weeks and I am still trying to get this straightened out. The so call owner of VI passports, who works out of the Vancouver office never seems to be in the office. I honestly don't know how he even has a job.  I keep getting told I will get a call back and it doesn't happen, I have called probably 15 times and yet I still haven't gotten an answer. Everytime I call I am told he is home with his kids. I requested he call me from home then.Which has not happened. These people do not know how to run a successful travel business. They brag that they have 40,000 clients. If you do the math that is nothing. They have been open since '78 or something.  My local LA Fittness has more clients than that.  You will not get anything but a headache dealing with these people. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!

I just looked them up. BBB doesn't rate them for several reasons. There is no record of them EVER having a good rating with BBB. Crooks & scammers. How long have you worked for them? Or, did they pay you to write this LOL. We're not stupid!

Just curious, Art, but how come you post so much on this forum? Is it because you are, in fact, trolling to promote BS positivity and skepticism about the negative comments about this obvious sham of a company? Yeah, I'm going to go with that answer. Google "Vacation Internationale BBB" and you'll quickly find their "F" rating.

Yeah I got a call for a "prize" I'd won.  Only reason I bought it and called them back is because in they're message they named the festival I had just attended a week previous, and said I'd been drawn in a raffle from it (and I did fill out a raffle slip at one point).  When I called back the sales pitch for my "free gift" was so apparent that a told the guy it sounded like a scam (after all why would he need to sell me a free gift).  He told me if I wasn't excited about the free vacation they were giving out, then he didn't want to give it to me.  I was fine with that.

Maybe your "company" should stop disguisuing your SCAM as "sweepstakes". Or maybe you should just fold up and get honest work. Is anybody there qualified for honest work? Doubt it!

Hello Everyone,
I'm just stating a fact about Vacations Unlimited and the Better Business Bureau that I checked out today.  I don't have enough information to know about how Vacations Unlimited are or how  their practices are, although I do see alot of comments probably from the people that buy the discount packages from vacations unlimited and sell them to the customers of that business.

It's like hiring a painter to paint your house. Who is at fault? Is it the painter or the paint? I'm sure that there are good painters and bad painters as well as good paint and bad paint.
Thanks,

I'm not getting paid from no one!!!  Vacation Getaways could be a good or a bad business, I don't know. I'm hoping that they are a good business because I'm a very positive person, but if they turn out to be bad, then I will let you know about it.

Again, all I'm doing is stating a fact from the BBB.  Any way tra la la, I really like your name, just curious as to why your so negative towards me,since you don't even know me.

I'm no dummy, In the past, I have owned and managed many businesses, if this co. is a scam, why would they get an A rating from the BBB?

Can you please answer me that question?

No, I'm not. I am merely stating a fact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Look them up like I mentioned here, maybe your too busy or too lazy to do that, or maybe you just like to make people unhappy because your a miserable person.

Which one is it?   Go look them up and state a fact. I'm hoping to do business with them to see how they are. As I menitoned before, I'm stating a fact from the BBB which is true and factual according to the BBB

I don't know about every body else. I did check out Vacation Getaways and they do have the A rating.
They are in Dublin, CA.  I believe they broker or wholesale alot of these vacations to other companies and these other companies are the ones that use them as promotional tools for customers.

I'll let all of you know how it works out with them.
Thanks,

That's interesting, because they have a very  good rating with the Better Business Bureau.
A rating which is considered excellent and been around since 2004 and with the BBB since 7/2005.

I just contacted them today by e-mail and ph. call. I'm hoping to do business with them and hope that they will get back with me in a timely fashion.

Thanks,

Got a call from 253-737-4785 and they told me to call back at 253-929-8896 x32 by 4pm the same day because I had won a drawing.  I haven't entered a drawing in a while so assumed it was a scam.  Reading the notes above, I did attend Taste of Seattle 3 years ago and won the same deal.  Unfortunately, I did attend at that time and it is completely bogus.

I do not work for this company, but I personally know the owner, and she does NOT encourage her employees to argue with potential customers over the phone 'if charm does not work'. Sadie is simply a discruntled employee who had a crappy phone voice and sucked at her job, didn't show up 90 percent of the time and was let go, so now, out of spite, she has nothing but negative garbage to spew. Also, the company does not 'recycle' folks who ask to be taken off the call list. That is a complete lie. Most of the naysayers on here who are leaving negative comments haven't even ATTENDED  the presentation, and yet they feel obligated to act and sound as if they know what they are talking about. As far as the gifts go, they now use a certificate which costs their company almost 100 dollars each, but in turn there is ZERO out of pocket expense for the person who wants to use it and all flights leave out of the sea-tac airport. Another thing, if you were called because you entered a drawing for a free vacation, a car, or cash, why complain? You should be smart enough to realize that anything that you enter for is for promotional purposes, otherwise the companies would not be giving away items such as Cars or Cash which are not cheap! Yes, it's to invite you to a sales presentation, and you do not have to purchase the product, and you will still get an awesome vacation which is completely free. Who would actually cry or complain if someone offered you a free vacation, especially when you entered for a promotional drawing in the first place? Like I said, I know the owner and she is completely legit and the vacation certificates the company gives out are the best ones out there, not to mention the 30 dollar dinner cards they give to the olive garden or red lobster.

I worked at Paradise Getaways briefly.  It was a very high-pressure call-center, but I needed the income.  They had us calling numbers on sweepstakes entry cards that were YEARS old.  If the person we called asked to be removed from their list, we marked the card appropriately but I later found out they just recycle them anyway.  We were required to get specifics about income, etc. and try VERY HARD to get people to agree to attend a free seminar.  If charm didn't work you were expected to argue, even yell at them.  It took a while for me to fully realize just what a horrible disgusting scam it all was.  I hated every minute there and was SO glad to leave!

So...you really feel this is a bogus deal?  That its not worth even going to the seminar to see what they have have to offer?? I agree with most of the people that if they say its free it should be 100% free!! Just curious what you think because we are schedule to go this week?

If you enter a drawing anywhere nowadays, it is a telemarketer getting your info. They then use the info to send you to their clients presentations. Paradise Getaways is a 3rd party company hired by TimeShare companies to get clients in the door for presentations. VIPassport is merely a front name for a company called Demand Vacations who again is yet another 3rd party company selling for a timeshare called Vacation Internationale. Do not confuse VIPassport with Vacation Internationale as they are definately 2 seperate companies. VIPassport is very shady and will say anything to get the sale. I did buy ownership in Vacation Internationale and I am very happy with it. I have been an owner for several years and have had no problems with them. I never used my "free" gifts from VIPassport as they are always worthless no matter whose presentation you go to. Bottom line, If you love to travel and are looking into buying vacation ownership Vacation Internationale is the best I've seen. Buy directly from them though....Do not go to VIPassport, they are a total scam!

Yeah it's just a scam. My wife and I spent the time to go to this and we got there and we signed the paper work as you come in the door. They called our names and were escorted into an office and said we are not eligible for the 90 min. seminar. Our annual gross salery wasn't in the 50,000.00 and above. So they gave us the Free limo and dinner. Don't waste your time. Not worth the time.

i used to work for this company...its not worth your time what so ever. there are so many fees and restrictions. in most cases its cheaper just to book a full price vacation yourself. most of the flights depart from los angeles. so if you live in the seattle area, you would be responsible for getting to los angeles...and on the way back...getting home from los angeles. don't fall for it. not worth your time or money.

253-929-8896 ext 32 - Rep name Ruby called today from Paradise GoodWays, which I believe is VI Passports some type of Timeshare scam that they want people to spend their hard working money on.  These people are so funny, they are not pushy but they want you to go to their presentation and hope that you will get sucked in.  Once you are in they are super pushy and expect you to walk out buying a piece of nothing.
I would like to say more but i should stop myself.  Thanks

I just got a call from 1-253-929-8876 as VI Passports (same deal) but they gave me a little more information:

I haven't called this number because after reading the information here, feel that there is no need for me to waste my time with this any longer.  I just wanted to pass along some extra information for any of those unfortunate to believe them and then not get their vouchers.
