This company is complete fraud and bills illegally. The company is a SCAM so stay away.

Internet fraud. Illegal billing fostered by governmental laws requiring my phone company to accept 3rd party billing for which they know nothing about. The law enabled my phone company to bill me for a scam company.

I called verizon and got the charges reversed. You should do the same.  
Verizon claims the law requires that they accept this type of 3rd party billing with no obligation to insure the credibility of the company or the services.

THE REASON THEY ARE CALLING YOU AND HANGING UP IS BECAUSE IT IS "OBVIOUSLY" SOME NEW TYPE OF SOFTWARE THAT IS CALLING YOU.  IT OPENS A FREE LINE IN THEIR OFFICE TO SOUND LIKE A CALL CENTER SO YOU CAN'T PROVE IT WASN'T A PERSON (PROBABLY NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE AUTOMATED DIALING WITHOUT A PERSON ON THE OTHER END).  THEN WHEN IT HANGS UP AND YOU CALL BACK THEY GOT EVERYTHING THEY NEEDED TO KNOW THROUGH CALLER I.D.!  THEN ANYTHING THEY CAN COMPILE ON TOP OF THAT IS A BONUS. SO THE CRACK SMOKER THEY GOT TO PLAY THE "CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT" ROLE STARTS ASKING YOU STUPID QUESTIONS.

I CALLED THIS NUMBER BACK 800-984-6666 T BE REMOVED FROM THEIR CALLBACK LIST AND THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE CALL ME BCAK 5 MINUTES LATER TO ASK WHY...I SCREAMED AT HIM AND SAID I NEED NO REASON AND I CERTAINLY AM NOT COMPELLED TO JUSTIFY MY DECISIONS TO YOU...

I get calls from this number several times a day. I have told them to stop calling, but they don't listen. This is really annoying !!!!!!

Got call again today! I reported them to the FCC!

Was told (by someone with a heavy accent) that I had signed up for "education" and that if I was the person they were calling that I had signed up for "education"  When I told them that I did not sign up and that someone else must have signed my name he was baffled! And then I asked him to remove my work number from his database

THis has also happened to my husband. Only our bill was 74.95. On My at&t account I am mad.They will not do anything but give me and 888 number to call. This is a scam.

My business phone is getting calls from this number several times a day. We are registered on the Do Not Call Registry - but that doesnt stop a lot of marketing calls. I just spent $60 to have caller ID added to our business line to help us avoid answering these calls.

Ma'am, never say that you aren't interested. That is not a solid "NO". Tell them "NO, I do not wish to have your service, and DO NOT call again".

That always does the trick. :)

They called, they were with some weird company I've never heard of. They asked for the manager, and I denied their access to him. They have called before. I then hung up on them and called the number back from a different phone and was put on hold for about 60 seconds. A woman answered and I told her that they need to quit with the calls and the added our business number to their do not call list. I also informed them that if I got another call from them, I would file a harassment claim with Verizon.

Call multiple times per day on my business phone; never leave message. My phone numbers are registered with the Do Not Call Registry. I see the number on the caller ID so I do not answer. They are PESTS and I want this to stop!

This is the 3rd phone number for this ZIPWEB crap. Each number I tell them we aren't interested and they call from a different number. Other numbers: 704-220-0636 and 800-793-7141.

received call on 4/15 at 12:30pm also on 4/14 at2:45pm - male stated he was calling to update information on our online business listing through Google (?).  I disconnected

yes Tony, but that wont work. they will keep on calling regardless.

they've already called twice today and its only 12 pm here.

I BS them and tell them the number they called is not a business and they said they would put me on their do not call list. Short and simple.

this number used to call my work number and then stopped for a good yr or so. seems like its coming back again. how annoying!!!!

i didnt pick up so hopefully they will get a hint.

This number called and didn't introduce themselves and simply asked for the owner or manager (of Time Warner Cable).  I transferred them to a number that isn't manned any longer after extensive layoffs, then later checked the voicemail, but they didn't leave one...I mean, do a google search and find out who the Owner is.  Not rocket science!

Received a call from this number.  I answered and they promptly hung up.  I called the number back and got a young man by the name of Michael.  I asked him what their business name was and he said Zip Web, he said they do web advertising.  I asked him why when they call, do they hang up when we answer.  He said it was a system glich - I told him to put my number on their do not call list.  He said he would.  Now, we will wait and see.

Constant calls from this number have started about 2 weeks ago. I have been ploite and asked them not to call anymore, to no avail.

Got called 4 times today.  Did not answer any, but decided to call the number back several times, but to leave my phone on mute.  It's kind of fun

Received call from 800-984-6666 "Unknown Name" at 2:31 PM.  I answered and LOUD music playing.  Hung up and at 2:33 same caller.  Picked up receiver and immediately hung up on them.

I have gotten several calls from this number, 2 just this morning (one at about 8:45 and the second at 9:45) I answered the 2nd one so I could ask to be taken off the list and nobody was there.

11:03am 12/15 is the latest in daily robo-calls to our business over the past several weeks.  They don't leave a message and we don't pick up.  Purpose of this post is that the calls from the (bad people in L.A.) are still coming in spite of the very good information in the earlier posts.  It would be nice if someone in the L.A. area could check them out and report here.
