I get these calls at least 10-15 times per day, I've since blocked the number. I have never had any debt with citifinancial, but despite telling them that I'm not the person they're looking for- they still continue to call. Its like they don't believe me. It seems as though whoever had my phone number is not paying their bills. They're always looking for the same person, and I also get random debt collectors and lawyers calling for her as well. I think I may need to change my number if it doesn't stop. The excessive calls are ridiculous from 0700-2000, I have reported this number to the FCC and the FTC. One weekend, I had 23 calls in a 24 hr period. They also call from 800-218-6335, back to back- alternating numbers on different days.

These A _ _ holes have been calling my house for years now (or some one like them) with people with the same last name as mine in order to see if I know who it is they're looking for. They want you to tell them you know them. They say that that person gave you as a reference, so you tell them the info they want. If you say you know them the calls will never stop. They don't want you to get a supervisor because if you do then ask them if they are familiar w/ the fair debt collection act, they are required to give you the info they don't want to give such as their address as I understand.Call your attorney generals office w/ the number they called from, they will give you the collectors address and you can send a letter to them telling them to cease and desist. Also report the number to the FCC so you can send that info to the collectors too.The calls will stop, until the next collection agency calls and you have to do it all over again. I went so far as to send a registered letter one time that had to be signed and spent 4 dollars to do it. They really pissed me off. I am a hard working man w/ no credit issues and don't need to be harassed because some one with a similar name is a deadbeat.

These guys constantly harass you. It is Citifinancial and I am only about a week past due on my monthly payment. I also thought you had a 15 day past due window to get your payment into them before they started harasssing you. I am sooo wrong.

Debt Collectors ARE NOT part of the DO NOT CALL LIST that everyone has signed up for. What you need to do is next time they call, ask them for a mailing address. Send them a letter to cease and desist calling you (which you can find online) and send it to them via certified  mail with return receipt so they have to sign for it. Personally I would send it Priority Mail with Signature Confirmation. So the next time they call  tell them you sent them a cease and desist letter and since they refused to abide by it you have no choice but to call a lawyer and sue for harassment. Also you can report them to the FCC.

What a self-serving blast of garbage.  I sugest you quit going online and posting your whining rants and actually get a decent job.  Don't get all bent of our shape because these people don't want to be bothered by bottom feeding robo-callers.

Inormed.  Your quote about not getting bent out of shape because people have a job to do is totally missing the point.  Yes someone may work for this company and it is their job to call people on their list and try to collect the money owed to them.  It is not their job to harass people who are not responsible fot the debt, nor ignore their requests to be removed from the list.  People move all the time or change their numbers.  The numbers don't just go into a dead number file they are given to someone else.  That person should not have to be harassed because you are too lazy to actually listen to them when they tell you they are not the person you are looking for and they don't know them.  It is your job to find the person so if the number doesn't lead to them you should be polite and scratch it off your list.  Get a clue.  Your justification just proves how UN-Informed you really are.  Not to mention igorant.  May your next phone number be the former number of a dead beat who owes hundreds of thousands of dollars so that you can experience this type of harassment by people who like you are apparently too dumb to get a real job!!!!!! Good Day!

Just a quick heads up to all you people complaining about phone calls. According to the FDCPA all it takes is you either mailing or faxing a cease and desist letter and the calls stop permanently. I suggest you quit going online and making complaints and actually try to do something to remedy the situation. Don't get all bent out of shape that people have a job to do.

We have two accounts with Citi, we are paying on both. But they still call -- home phone rings immediately after 8 a.m., we don't answer so they immediately call cell phones.  This goes on all day long every day.

Could this be because of the Citi leak of information from the other week when they were hacked?

I get many calls from this number, but they never leave a message. I don't answer numbers if I don't know who it is, I expect them to leave a message if it's really for me to be sure it is important because I don't want to waste my minutes on my cell phone. I really get irritated if it is solicitation because it cost me minutes.

Get a whistle like a referee whistle, silver with a ball in it. Let them respond after you say hello, then blow the whistle in the receiver. I promise your calls will stop after a few more calls. They will label your account as a hostile customer and not call anymore!!!!!

These clowns have been calling every day at 8:10 and then at 8:30, evenon Sundays.  We have told them not call back, or we will sue them for harassment, but does not deter them.  By law, we told them to send anything they have in writing, but no letter.  Even put our phone on the "Don't Call" list, but still they call.  The government must be getting something out of this, too.  Does anybody know what else we can do?

6 calls in the last week from this number.  They have the wrong street, the wrong city, and the wrong SSN.  "Dazie" claimed to be from CitiFinancial PO box 70913 Charlotte NC 78272.  He also claimed that there was a personal loan for $4587.99, two payments behind (426.28 April 14 and May 14).  The address that was given was 229 Longhorn Road, Stockdale TX 78610, which is a valid address, but not mine.  This guy "Dazie" promised to take my phone number off the account.  I think he's related to "Peggy" that we see on TV.

I have told these idiots I am not the person they are looking for. I have had this number for over a year and they continue calling BECAUSE it is the number the deadbeat gave them. I have asked how long  you intend to call this number even though the person you are looking for does not have this number and there is no one here by that name. They refused to give me a supervisor when I asked. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOTHING BUT HARRASSEMENT PERSONNEL. Can you believe that the govt would bail out CITI. This is CITI FINANCIAL in case anyone wants to know. I was called 10 times in 2 1/2 hours!!!!!! The Do Not Call List is
worthless. Why can't our elected officials stop these people? Could it be they get a kickback?

Is this "employment"? What a shame that people have to call themselves employed just to harass innocent people. Yes, I can change my number only to be harassed by ME having to call all of my contacts. Why am I the criminal in this case?????????
