It is MEDCO, they always call to verify a prescription is being sent to your home. So don't get your knickers in a twist. It's probably part of your medical coverage.

This is from Medco, a legitimate mail-in pharmacy that is the provider of choice of  my health insurance company.  The retail price of my medication is $700 per month.  With my health insurance, the co-pay is only $10.  They are calling to confirm my mail address only.

Not a fax number. It is an automated call delivering info regarding prescription(s) (ie: prescription received)

This company left us a message also that a perscription was being mailed and would be received in the next few days. Have no idea who this is....

Medco is a prescription filler for my insurance company. Didn't leave a message, but I did have my prescriptions refilled. Legitimate company and phone number.

This is a valid call from MEDCO. They use an automated system to confirm or update the status of your prescription orders. I didn't try, but I suspect you cannot call this number. It's probably just used as an outgoing line for the automated calls.

I received a call just a few minutes ago, I didn't pick it up I couldn't imagine who would be calling from an 800 number, but I am expecting my refills from Medco, so I assume it is them telling me my RX has been filled.  I called them back and got the recorded message that my prescription was being processed, so that is okay

800-987-4902 number called.  Called back.  Recorded message saying my script from Medco had been filled and was being shipped.

A recorded message from Medco, confirming mailing of a prescription.  Would help, though, if the Caller ID would state name together with the phone #.

I get regular calls -- one in the morning and one in the evening -- about three times a week.   No one is ever on the line.   How can I make this go away??

Confirming that this is a legitimate call from Medco Pharmacy and NOT a telemarketer or solicitation from a charity for donations.  Medco was calling to notify me that my prescription order is being shipped.

Legitmate call.  Don't know why Craig said "Call is a fax machine, not from pharmacy."  The call is from an automated messaging system ? perhaps Craig called the number and got the sound like a fax machine.  This number was associated with a message left by Medco regarding my presciption order.  As Barbara from VA said, it is legit.
